I'm looking for a zip file that has a collection of android ready ringtones/notification tones. no songs, just similiar to what comes on the phone, only a different collection. any help???
THIS is from cyanogen's 4.0.4 thread, he calls it audio resources.
I recommend an app called Mabilo on the market. It has a bunch of good ringtones in it. If you don't want songs stick to the sound effects and funny categories.
I have always wondered what the best method for sorting out music was...and would like your opinions...do you sort by genre, artist, album...or something else? I currently have my songs sorted out by genre (alternative rock, easy, oldies, latin dance), but I'm starting to second guess myself...
i have mine in artist/album/ format
but i do it myself so that wmp cant mess it up

I have some dedicated folders like - rap, classics, pop, etc. and some mixed ones with the imaginative names "old" and "new". I put one of those on, hit the shuffle and enjoy .

What i have done is on the storage card, (My Documents/My Music/) then i have broken it up aphabetically. (I use GS Player more than Windows Media Player). But all of my music is by album, since there is three genres...
Computer is set up:
Alternative Music / Dance / Drum & Bass / Hip Hop / My Compilations / R 'n' B / Reggae, then sub catergorized #-z
ex DJ so back up all CD's to computer and have an extensive collection....
On phone i just dump the albums in My Music and put random play on
I sort it by album cover colour! jk
donno use itunes for my music on pc as I also got an appletv and ipod touch
and sync my x1 with itunes too using ituneagent
zune 3 does a real good job and i have over 2100 abums.. it really is eazy on the eyes as well
ok, so i made a ring tone of the full song, lost the mp3 of the full song and now i cant find the full song anywhere. sound hound and shazam bring up nothing and wrong results. So i though i would see if anyone here could lead me in the right direction. and please dont say google it, i have been searching for the full song for like a month now, google,bing,and yahoo turn up squat.
