[IDEA] iPhone Wifi

my Hermes has a "communication button"....but diamond doesn't even have that..
i know the title is misleading..but what i wanted to know is...is there an app that pop up to turn on wifi....when i'm trying to do the following:
>Update weather
>start opera/skyfire/IE
>start any application that requires internet connection
PPC users like me that can't afford any data plan...is there a way to do this pop up...that'll be a crazy app..IMO

+1. Just a question box saying "Do you want to run on wifi? Yes No" . Kinda annoying to have to go into commanager everytime I need Wifi.

Not a popup but toggle, just save to start menu, then you don't have to go into comm manager everytime to enable wifi http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=419005

I use AEbutton, and configure it to toggle wifi with a triple click on hang up button ^^

thanx for the reply guys....im interested in the ,AE thing..
i also had another question is it possible to completlt get rid of data network... because I'm very bothered by it.....
like when i run certain programs it tries to check for update...and its very annoyin with the pop ups and if someone calls u will miss it sometimes.....
i hope u guys understand how frustrating it is

Yeah, had the same problem too. Use DiamondTweak, scroll trough the various options there and you'll find what to disable. I think it's item 6.3 or something.

[REQ] "Smart Mobility" splash screen?

does anyone by any chance have a copy of the boot screen that says "Smart Mobility"? its the one when u first start up the diamond, idk if anyone that has a tp has it if you dont know what im talking about, check out the video on the bottom and go about 3 mins in and you should see it, thats what im looking for, would be greatly appreciated if someone has it, thnx

With Chompsms you can hide entire threads and blacklist certain names so they wont show up or get any notifications while your with whoever you don't want to know about the messages. The messages still show up in the stock messaging app though. LOL I found out about that the hard way.

Hello Tiger Woods. If you mean by not wanting someone else with your phone to read your SMS, just use lock pattern on your phone.

Yea i know but i dont wanna everytime unlock the patter when i want to check smth bcause i wery boring and very demotivating so i will have to use chompsms but its not quite good for me

Theres an app called Themes for that. you just navigate and download the theme then click apply, no rocket science.
I don't have that app, well, you better get it googlin' around or reflash MIUI...
This question can be solved searching the forum (yellow magnif glass, top right corner, you see it?)
Doing so you can save a some bytes in the xda servers, saving threes and all that stuff. I already killed some by answering you.

Im using MIUI (excatly now MIUI Mint Berry 1.10.28) and i would like to use pattern screen unlock security, but it doesnt work. :/ Every time when i set a pattern variation and unlock the screen, my phone lost this setting. I mean the pattern unlock appear once and after that i have to set it again.
And this problem also was in another MIUI roms.

My old andoid phone just gave up so i have a hd7 now and i like it so far..
But i need som tips and maby some trix
First, is there any way to get the sms keyboard to show me the öäå letter instead of need to hold o to get ö, a full swedish keyboard,
Second: any good gps tips?
And, is there a way to lock sms folder so noone can read my sms if they get my lock screen lock code,
Like my kids etc..
Is it possible to get the text off from sms in the top bar,
And if someone have some other tips that make my phone better or smarter iam open for trying.
