HTC HOME + Customizer is getting Boring

I'm kind of sick of using HTCH w/Customizer. Anyone have any better options? I've got about 93 different cabs sitting in a folder on my desktop and I am unsure which route to go. Which programs do you feel are essential for customization? I do require a nice looking digital clock but haven't found a great one other than HTCHOME
Here is what I have for customization other than HTCHOME:
SPB
Phonesuite
PocketPlus
Time
MobileShell
Full Screen Keyboard
S2U2 (which I like a lot cause it gives me the option to display a nice looking clock and .gif images while the phone is locked)
rL: Not to familiar with getting a great lookin, while user friendly interface, theme onto my phone.
Any suggestions or screenshots would be great. I viewed the show your today thread, which I got most of these programs from. However, I think many of them looked better with HTCHOME.
Maybe my question should be, is there a way to get rid of the 5 launch tools (today, favorite contacts, weather, launcher, sounds, and music player) and cut it down to three?
This should be the idiot of the week thread considering i never bothered to hit the download button on the customizer menu durr

lol, its cool. i guess all i really want is to only have three or four tabs with different icons but i cant find where to replace the icons on my phone. i feel stupid too.

Ok I feel like a fool now. I never realized what would happen when i clicked download under the settings. HAHAHA I GOT THE REDSox on my phone now. Sick thanks emu. Sorry for my ignorance.

Don't forget PointUI, Throttle Launcher, the LG Prada Interface and SPB MobileShell as your today screen.
You should check out the development and hacking forum more often

HTC Home Reflection Icons

A very nice skin by FInixNOver, got them from a Touch-It rom but had never seen them on here. So here ya go. Screenshot included below.

Looks nice, but doesn't work.....I get an error message when trying to chose the icon set from Home Customizer.

That is because these are only the 6 tab icons. You still need all the other HTC Home icons like email, voice mail, etc.
Just copy them from a different icon type and you are good to go.

Disable your htc home in the today management screen, then overwrite them in the windows directory.

Hah, I flashed an old Dutty ROM just two days ago so I could rip this theme out. I couldn't find it anywhere. I should have just waited .

Nice and cool , are you working on that theme? ( er, in case of misunderstanding, I mean: 'are you making that theme and going to release?', I'll be glad to see your theme, but if you are not going to create that theme, I want to ask you for permission to create it ^^)
Anyway, I don't know how to make the app launcher minimize and maximize like that ( don't have any idea :-< edit: Just had an idea for that ) and how to make the text menu scroll :|.

[Q] [REQ] Snow Leopard folder with Android logo [Fulfilled]

Hi all,
I've searched all around the net (and XDA off course), but I just can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Does anyone have a Snow Leopard folder icon (icns) with an embossed Android logo?
Or is anyone here grafically gifted enough to create such thing? I really suck at graphical design, so hopefully anyone in here is willing to give it a try. I'll buy the best one a cup of coffee (or a beer if you prefer that over coffee...)
I've attached a plain folder icon and an example of the Snow Leopard Downloads folder, to show the embossing effect. I'd really like at least the Android robot to show embossed in the folder, the text "Android" is less relevant (but would be cool, if the robot doesn't get too small). Can anyone help me out?

I've replaced the generic icon for the folder with your icon, but for some reason it doesn't match the rest of them. See screenshots attached. The difference is best seen in the first screenshot (list view). Could it be you used a different template? Or did I provide the wrong template?

Hmmm, not sure... I tried to match the icon stye to the reference you posted, but sometimes a simple difference in line thickness doesn't translate so well when reducing the icon size. I also used an online converter to convert from .png to .icns, so maybe that blurred the output slightly. The top edge of the folder doesn't look quite like the others, so maybe the template wasn't exactly correct. I can make the lines a bit thicker, but I'm not sure what's up with the folder...

Thanks for your effort, again.
I think I know what's 'wrong'.... If I open the generic folder icon, there's multiple icons inside (like in yours), but the smallest icon has a different folder layout. See screenshot attached. Could you edit the generic folder with the logo, to retain the difference between the large and smallest size? I hope I'm not asking to much of you...
The first edition is my favourite, as all folder icons have the graphic center aligned...

That's what I have been using. The only problem is that it only accepts one file, then builds the other sizes itself. I need the ability to inject different sizes into the file, but no worries, I think I have a solution...

Almost there... It looks a lot better (it's nearly perfect), so thank you again for your time and effort . One small request (hopefully)... (and please let me buy you a cup of coffee, as I highly appreciate the trouble you've taken!)
It's only the smallest size which is different now. I've made two screenshots, from your icon and the generic folder icon, both zoomed in at the same level. Would it be possible to give your icon the same 'border' as the generic one? That way it will blend in with the rest of them (see last screenshot).

Ah, thanks a lot, and sorry to disappoint you mate, but I don't use MIUI roms anymore.. I enjoyed it almost 9 monthes long on my O2x and then on my SGS2, now it's time for AOKP/CM9 roms..

New icon set, coming in three faded different colours at the moment, I think I'll do a greenish version too..
There's only about 50 of them (3x50), I'll update these sets as soon as possible..

Smaller update than I expected today, as (curiously) I've been a bit busy at work.. almost 70 icons for each colour now..
And Green icons pack is also added, and template included.. have fun with them
Next update... aahhh.. you know the rule.. don't ask for "ETA" as they say.. (thursday I guess)

Small update, only blue ones are shown in the 'preview', but the four colours have been updated.. just unzip and add them to your existing folders

Hey man, do you think you could kindly upload the last version of Blatant that you made or tell me where I can find it? As it is now I can only find v14 - but you made reference to a v23.5 in a post of yours a while back that I came across while looking for newer versions. I'd much appreciate it.
