Tmobile is selling a purple/pink shell case for 14.99. It looks a lot like an incase slider for the iphone. Anyone bought it yet?

That is extremely cheap! Even the gel cover retails for $19.99 and it doesn't cover the face.
Can you post a link to the shell case, please?

Wow! Thanks (once again) Jimmy, great find, I didn't even notice they had that there now! I really like the looks of that bodyglove case! I think I'm gonna have to see if my store has it so I can check out exactly what the material feels like before I buy it....I'm not ever again going to get anything but a full silicone or rubber case, no more hard shells to scratch up the paint job

Nope, we're anxiously awaiting the (hopeful) release of one for the US HD2...or of any of their styles for that matter.
I just went to the T-Mobile store and bought the 2 toned purple case for my wife. It does fit exactly like, if not better than the Incase slider for the iPhone 3g. It has a raised portion through out the middle of the back of the case. The makes it so the phone doesn't rest on the camera when it's on a table. The darker purple on the bottom lines up exactly with the bottom of the screen too, nice touch. I highly recommend that case for fit and finish. If they buy a more manly color, I'll get one for myself

no, but you should request the US version through their site. I started a thread here.

That's the one I put on for my wife's phone. It is a slider and made of plastic that has a rubberized coating on the outside. It has already saved the phone once when she accidentally dropped it. I believe it's worth it for it's price if you don't mind the color. More like a lavander shade to it also.

Also, to the guys that bought it, does it add a lot of bulk to it?

Your boss must be taking that case off/putting it on quite often to see scratches on his HD2. I have had that case ever since the HD2 came out in the US and I have taken the body glove case off a dozen of times without scratching the HD2's backing. It would be understandable if he took it off extremely fast without caring much, that would be the only way that he would scratch the back of the phone in my opinion.

Doesn't surprise me, alot easier for sand and dirt to get in between the phone and the hard plastic case and then proceed to scratch up the phone as the phone moves around, even the slightest bit inside the case.
The silicone rubber cases sort of seal around the edges since they are silicone.
I still keep mine in the stock silicone case that came in the box, but make it a point to pull the phone out, wash the silicone case with soap and water, then wipe down the phone atleast once a week to get rid of any dust and sand that might work its way in.
I have to give tmo/htc a thumbs up for including the case, its pretty decent in my opinion, thick enough that it raises the camera lens up off the table surface, so its not rocking around while using the touchscreen when it lays down, and the texture on the back gives a nice grip so i dont have to worry about it slipping out of my hands. The lip on the front is nice too, so it can be placed face down on a table without worrying about scratching your screen or screen protector.

Using a Louis Vuitton case that fit the previous HTC Fuse as well. Case is no longer available from LV tho.

That one looks pretty decent from this thread ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=835323 )
Maybe move this to accessories? I don't know!
I'm using the Body Glove case they sold at AT&T.
It looks really sharp, and feels safe; it even adds some heft that gives the phone a more solid weight and feel.
My only beef with the case is that the side buttons are hard to find, and hard to feel when pressed (makes focusing while picture taking extremely difficult).
http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-ph...sku4980540&source=ECbn000000000000O#tabModule
Under comp accessories, the Body Glove item...
I'm using the CaseMate red and black case from the AT&T store. I would have preferred it in all black as opposed to the bright red, but the thing feels very safe for taking to the gym and it adds some heft to it. The raises rubber edges on the front are a nice touch too for the few times I've had the phone face down. The buttons are very easily accessible. My only gripe would be that the two level camera button is a little bit harder to get to use for focusing-- it requires a bit more finesse as a light press will go straight to taking a picture. Other than that, if you can get past the looks of it (which really aren't that bad), I think this is a fantastic case.
Here is what I got today from eBay, the seller is Bluedot.
The fit it really good. Not too tight to activate buttons, not too loose either.
The color is a really dard brown. The flash made it look lighter than it really is.

These pictures were taken with the Focus, then I massaged them in Photoshop Elements 8
The construction seems durable. It cost $9.95 plus shipping.

This case sucks. I bought one from AT&T, and it doesn't fit correctly. You can see the gap from the case to the phone looking into the side where the power button hole is. I'm returning mine as its NOT what i would expect for $30 plus tax. Right now im using my old Nexus One pouch that i tore a small hole on the side to prevent the power button from being mushed in.
PS: to my above post. i see the same case on eBay (i have zero affiliation yet this does look authentic and not a knock off case). See
http://cgi.ebay.com/Authentic-Louis...315509?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3360ad80b5
The top flap does not really work due to the 'extra' height of the phone itself, so i just have it naturally fold behind the phone itself. Note in the side photo it does not touch the power button, so it works well and if i need to silence an incoming call it is easy. Removing and inserting the phone is also easy.
Again, i have zero affiliation with the eBay auction yet this case works well for me.
I have an Incipio hard case that I bought at my local AT&T store. These pics are crappy but I just made them in the last five minutes.
I found this Samsung Galaxy S case at Circuit City and it fit the Focus like a glove! It's not bad, and I found it at a retail location, so that's also kind of a bonus. Hopefully more good ones will come out soon!

I've got one too. I like it, though I also don't mind that it does not cover the top, bottom, or front of the phone.
If that's a problem, then I hope you like having a bright red case because the Body Glove is awful, which leaves your only other choice the bright-red Case-Mate.
I just ordered this, its the only Snap on Hard Case i could find. Hopefully its decent, but for $6 it was worth a try.

The invisible shield covers come in a matte style for the back of the phone. I use it and like it.
I bought this the other day,
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004DFBBCE/ref=oss_product
So far i like it, there are nobs on the side instead of cutouts for buttons, and they work as if they weren't there.
The case protects the back camera lens and covers a bit of the front. The areas where it covers on the front basically masks the edges of the screen protector, which makes it look really clean.
The added silicon near the bottom prevents my palm/fingers from accidentally pressing the capacitive keys, which are a big plus for me
Case-Mate Red/Black POP Case is the one I have, and its the best case out. I wish they made it in ALL black. The case provides great protection, Already dropped it a few times getting out of my car, and the case held up great. You buy a phone like this please dont buy cheap arse $5.00 case from ebay. Dont buy the Incipio, that case is garbage. No protection at all.
I hadn't seen any reviews of this one, so I figured I'd do a quick review and give some better pics of the case in action.
Manufacturer: "Rock"
Model: "NakedShell" AKA "Barely There" for HTC Holiday/Vivid/Raider
Source: Ebay. So far, I've only seen them sold by "luckyexpress168". (I have no affiliation other than buying a case from them)
Cost: Varies with exchange rate, approx $14 USD currently
Ships from China... slowly. Not that it was unexpected, the auction says it will take a while, but it was at least 2 weeks to get to me in Ohio.
Thoughts -
Fit/finish are great. Fits the phone perfectly, and all ports are easily accessible. Headphones, USB cable, speaker, camera, flash, volume... all work fine.
The texture is hard to describe, but I LOVE it. I had tried the Otter Box rubber case before and hated it because it was so grippy. I had the hardest time getting it in/out of my pockets. Not the Rock case! It's got this great silky/velvety feel to it, but it's not "sticky" so it goes in and out of pockets easily.
The profile of the case is intentionally small. It's really "Barely There". I'm sure it doesn't offer as much protection as some others, but it seems fine for my needs. Not at all bulky and it retains what I feel are the good lines of the phone.
Overall, I'm VERY pleased with this case. Just what I was looking for, and so far I haven't seen another similar design.
On to the pictures. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I'll answer them as best as I can.

Damn not bad for $15. I have the otterbox but thats just because of my job and the likelyhood of something happeneing at work is high. I have been looking for a weekend/after work case and this might be it.
Thanks
Thanks for the review. The tpu case I have now works well enough while I wait for my Otterbox commuter but this one might be good for backup.
Just a question about the first picture.
How come you have the lighter circles around the soft buttons at the bottom? I don't have that on my Raider.

Oops, forgot to mention that. That's because of the screen protector. I got the Moshi at the AT&T store the day I got the phone. I know some people hate them, but I really like the matte finish and the fingerprint resistance.

Awesome, thanks for the review! I was debating between jumping into an OtterBox or holding out for something else. I'm glad I waited
Looks like this may be the way to go to keep from losing the back plate / cover

It actually does have that a tiny bit, but it seems to be only visible when the screen is off. It doesn't bother me, but I can understand how it would be annoying (especially for $25).

This case looks nice but im not sure how it would hold up during a drop on concrete. The bottom and top of the phone isn't that protected with this case.I work on concrete and have ordered the otterbox commuter case.I will post pics when i get it.Thanks for the great review and pictures.
I actually planned on ordering the red one for my white Vivid, but then I noticed it didn't have the small cutout for the secondary microphone in the back, next to the camera.. Not sure how important that is but it's there for a reason so I'd prefer it was open with the case on.. Disappointing..
Now thinking to get the Seidio Surface case in the Sapphire blue.. It looks like it has a similar soft touch finish, and not very bulky.. I wonder if it's as sleek as the Rock...

Question
I am interested in buying this case but I don't like cases that stick to my pocket while pulling them out. Does this matte case have any problems?
I notice that there is a line/indentation around the back of the case - does this trap dirt/lint? I am wondering why they placed it there in the first place.
Thanks.

It goes in and out of my jeans pockets with no issues. If you wear skinny jeans, then I can't help you. It is remarkable to me how little dirt/lint stick to this thing. It is made of hard but flexible rubber, I haven't found anything sticking to it. Keep in mind, its a barely bigger than the phone and it does push up my screen protector in the lower left hand corner. My Spigen case didn't do that, but it made the phone feel huge to me.
Thanks!
Thanks for the info. What kind of screen protector do you have? I have purchased Invisible Defender (screen protector) and diztronic case. Hopefully they wont cause huge problems.
Thank you.

It's just a cheap clear one from Amazon. This case really hugs the screen, it adds almost no width at all. Its not really noticeable unless I look for it, I wouldn't think you'll have huge problems.

Spigen cases always seem to add unnecessary bulk, especially width to phones with their cases. And their colored plastic backs scratch and swirl like crazy.
They are extremely overrated and overpriced imo.

Just ordered this today!
For everyone wanting to get a screen protector that fits with this case, the Supershieldz screen protector from Amazon doesn't get in the way of the case if installed well (AT&T version).
This case is super thin and light, the back is like black leather, and it looks so nice that people don't even realize it is a case, they think it is the phone without a case!!
I found it after ordering about 20 different G4 cases and trying them out.
The only thing I had to do was take a women's fat black sandpaper type nail file and file down some sharp TPU Silicone edges which took about 10 minutes.
here is a link to the best LG G4 case I have run across since the phone was launched!

For 10$ you can get a nice Cruzerlite case.
After looking at the 40$ otter box and looking at Arozell case i see no difference..well one anyway the 30$ price difference..this case is nice and heavy..It fits the phone very nice..its a very tight fit but that is a good thing..No problems with the screen protector, screen works as it should only way you can tell the protector is there is by the fell when you tap down... here is a link to the best LG G4 case I have run across since the phone was launched!

Question--I have a soft silicone case on my phone, and it is easily removable. I need to take off the case because the Qi charger (PowerBot) will not charge the phone through the silcone case. Is this case easy to take off and replace???

yes, easily removable, yet very snug and tight
Wow, that's huge cases, you guys go to war ?
I got my Ringke Fusion for like $1.99... it's the best case I've ever owned.

This case is super thin and light, the back is like black leather, and it looks so nice that people don't even realize it is a case, they think it is the phone without a case!!

 I'm with you. I'd rather have a slight risk of dropping it and doing some damage than cover it with an Otterbox. I really like the Spigen's personally, particularly the neo hybrid. Last time I checked it was on Amazon for 20 bucks too, can't go wrong.

Yup, I have to agree. Not too bulky and not bad looking at all, especially if you don't have a black leather back heh.

just get out that blank sandpaper nail file and work on those sharp edges! - Sally Beauty supply has a ton of them.
What sharp edges? I don't feel any. Mine had some residue on the inside I cleaned off, but other than that. all good
For 7 euros you can also buy this one from ebay.
So, this is not a sponsored post. I had this case on my S8+ and it immediately changed the look of my phone and made it look good. I've decided to put this on my Note8.
3 quick notes.
1. This is SUPER thin. There is no protection if you drop this phone.
2. This is a PERFECT fit. Trying to use this over a skin or if you have a metal plate for your magnetic car stand will not work correctly.
3. There is no lip at the top. Do not place this face down.
With that said, this is not my every day case but looks good when you want to go almost bare.

I would be really interested in buying one of these however reading this concerns me a little...
I have a Ringke Invisible Defender Screen Protector (here)
It wraps around the phone onto the back so i guess it will not fit well with this protector if you say even a skin would interfear with it

That's 100% correct. Think of trying to put a wrap on top of a wrap. Even though they are both thin the one on top will be off by a bit.
I brought this up because with the last phone review I did on a case like this someone tried to put their case on with a wrap and they were bitter about the fit.

I really like these bear motion cases. They're done pretty good work on these, but I don't like that it doesn't go up the top and bottom and there's something to be said for the case wraps around the buttons versus a cut out and it stops. I'm kind of picky in that regard.

I'm glad you did otherwise i might of been a bit gutted too after buying one nice case though.. first one i have seen that covers the camera panel... interested to see more like this
FYI on ali express and dhgate, these types of cases are like $1.00.
Just keep in mind they take a few weeks to get here from China.

Yeah, I'm ok with not using Ali Express. Most of that stuff is junk and then if you complain it takes weeks to get another one. Sizing is almost always off.
Even though the stuff on Amazon is almost exactly the same at least you get some sort of quality control. The sellers there don't want to get booted.
i had the black bear motion for my black note 7. it was sexy as ****. and the sandpaper like grit was superb!

I gave the same on my note 8 and it fits like a glove. I take the risk. If something happens it's on me. But I'm not gonna not use the screen and phone the way it was designed to be used.
Question: Are the sides easily bendable or movable with the eLago case? The "problem" I face with these very thin cases are that due to the nature of the cutouts and the flimsiness of the case, the sides (mainly the left side) move too easily and it drives me crazy sometimes. Especially when I attempt to take it off my car mount where only the sides are being clenched to hold the phone. I know I am being finicky, but hey, I have every right to be.
Trying to figure out whether I want the white or black one. How easy does the white get dirty?

I like the white. It's really a cool offset and your phone is black already. So what's the point.

This is a solid question. While the case is a perfect fit, the issue that I ran into with my S8 Plus is that the case did start to Warp above the power button about four months in. I shot the company a message on Amazon and they sent me a new one out no questions asked. So, it is a thin case but the customer service is above and beyond and that makes up for it
