Yeas, but it is 'supper-classy' .
Better quality leather, with no outside seam - so fits really well without extra bulk.

I'm not deciding anything for anyone, if people wish to spend good money on another version of what they already own they're perfectly welcome. But this is a forum and posting opinion's is what they're about. I'm genuinely curious as to why someone would buy this.

Bad example, I couldn't think of any reason to buy a vase full stop, never mind an expensive one.
As for the emotion side of things, I'm well aware of that. I can't see how that applies to a phone cover but each to their own.

The lesson for today : It applies on everything that people buy that has to do with luxury.
That's what I tried to explain and that is the reason that I took a extreme example of the €5.000 vase
But to be frank, emotion applies maybe even more then average when it comes to leather accessories. One of the biggest luxury icons at this moment is Louis Vuitton. They also produce leather accessories. Louis Vuitton made a revenue of almost €2.000.000.000 last year. I hope you get the point now.

My pda/pocket pc/smartphone has been my most used device and is one of few things I have always had on me for the past 8 years. Whatever device I have at the time holds a high value to me, so I have always spent the extra money for a nice leather case. It's kind of a fashion accessory along with protection for my most important device. I usually spend $50-$100 for a custom made Vaja, Noreve, or PielFrama case. It's the same as buying nice shoes or clothes... it's something that I wear, as it's usually attacked with a belt clip. Smartphones are the modern day pda and they hold a lot of value to people. People practically have their lives organized and stored on these devices. It's an accessory they always have on them, like shoes, clothes, jewelry, handbags, etc.
wow !!!, next you lot will be argueing over the price of leather handbags. as for the op's new case, too posh for me, i like the (free) cheap looking stock case.....
LV should produce nice pouches for our HD2s! lol

Has anyone come across a case for the Tab which can hold money/cards as well?
Ideally I'd like to have a case with the snap-in (like the Scosche) but with internal pockets for money/cards and preferably some sort of handle on the outside (so it's harder to lose).
Any ideas?
Noreve do excellent cases and have one for the Tab which fits your requirement.
Some traders have the Black standard one in stock but if you want to customize it go direct to Noreve (I did when I purchased a case for my SGS).

I emailed Incipio last week to see if they intended making covers for the N7 like they do for the Ipad and they emailed me back last night to say they are releasing a range of products but no details are available yet, but to keep an eye on their website and there should be info there soon. Would really like a Incipio feather case for my 7 along with a smart cover..
Hopefully in the next few weeks we'll have more info

Hope they make the legend case! Its the best case I've seen so far
These cases are amazing. I've Put some cash aside for when these are released. Even the international shipping seems reasonable. I'm surprised there isn't more mention of these on the forum rather than all the cheap plether bulky rubbish everyone seems to like! No accounting for taste!

Exactly. Google is selling tons of these things and it's been over a month now. I want to give my money to anyone that comes out with a "tank" case but no one is stepping up to the plate.

...or maybe it's because one size fits all and so it's easier to get one to market early.
No company can set up, tool up and manufacture quality products at the drop of a hat never mind them wanting to make sure there's going to be a sustainable market for it.
I realise that moaning is one of the US national pastimes but these forums are international and believe me it gets very old very quickly having to trawl past all these whinging posts to try and find the good stuff.

Oh please. I'm not one of the complainers on this board and my post was not whining. These tablets have been selling like hot cakes and it's been out for long enough where someone should be making a hard case by now.

i agree with this. i also believe google announced the tablet and released it 2-3 weeks later and didn't work with anyone on accessories. perhaps it was to generate sales of their case, but the consumer got screwed. i'm not a fan of the asus case. from day one i wanted a leather case and over a month later, i'm still limited in my choices becasue companies are still working on their cases. i emailed marware last week and they still said 4-6 weeks.

Incipio makes decent cases, but they're always way overpriced. I got the N7 because of its value, and this is going to carry over with my accessories for it. If I wanted to overspend, I would have gotten an iPad.

Hi All,
I recently purchased a Nexus 7 case that I was extremely un-impressed by. The seller completely lied about everything on the case, it was a totally different colour, layout etc (BASICALLY A DIFFERENT CASE THAN PURCHASED)
I have had a re-fund but its not about the money, I love my N7 and think it is a smart device, (looking wise) haha.
I was wondering if anyone can recommend me a case?
I want:
A nice looking case that doesn't ruin the N7.
It has to be comfortable to hold and not add to much bulk to the N7.
Obviously has to be protective, but has to feel nice.
Would like one with a Sleep/Wake function (Unless someone recommends a nice pouch rather than case, as I don't take it out much so a pouch could be sufficiant)
Finally, I would like if possible, it to be able to be used a stand.
IT DOES NOT HAVE TO COVER ALL OF THESE AREAS!

Haha, that made me chuckle.
This may already be known, and but I emailed Portenzo to ask about book cases for the N10. A CSR got back to me shortly and informed me that they were working with the device now and hoped to have a product ready soon.
Personally I'm very excited about this since I still love the Portenzo case on my N7.

I've got the Hardback for my N7 in black with red trim. It's a nice slim case thanks to the nifty mounting solution, doesn't add a lot of bulk. Does the job of protecting the screen when travelling, comes right out when not, and isn't unpleasant to use in the hands with the case on.
Quality wise, it's a whole lot better than that "vegan leather" or TPU crap you find on Ebay/Amazon for $10.
Not a big fan of the more expensive BookCase style units due to the extra bulk, but a co-worker has one for his iPad, with the Intellistand option, and it's a clever system.

The burden of pics is not on me,not my topic..for him to make a new topic but make us do legwork to respond to his topic just doesn't seem to be the wisest thing IMO.you should always post as much info as possible to get reponses to your topic.especially a case thread!

Personally I stopped following the multi-page case thread, it's just constant re-posting of Amazon links to the same 2 or 3 variations of cheap Chinese stinky fake leather cases they've been churning out for the last few years.

You only assumed I was asking for nexus 10 pics.my response is what assumptions get you.because then you would know the expected pic would be of the nexus 7 one,since common sense says he's interested in one for nexus 10 because of the one already out for the 7.

I'm looking for an extended battery/phone case for my M8...ya know, a powered case. I had a Mophie on my Galaxy S4 and absolutely lobed it...well, most of the time. Anyways, since Mophie doesn't make a case for the M8, I'm forced to explore a new brand.
Please if anyone knows of a reputable company (other than Mophie) please share your recommendation with me!

I found two options, and it's really just a matter of price/brand.
This one...
And then the Mugen.
The Mugen has the pedigree as well as a higher milliampere-hour capacity, however it's $50 more. So it's really just dependent how how much you want to spend. Hope this helps.
Edit: I do not have experience with either of these, so if you decide to try one please let us know which one and how you like it.

So I found this one on Amazon yesterday and bought it. It arrives tomorrow, I'll report back and let you know my initial reactions.
ZeroLemon has their new battery case for our M8 on Amazon, just bought it, I'll update once I get it.
Well I just got my PowerBear charging case in the mail. Out of the box, it feels like reasonably good quality. Nice looking, it has that smooth, sorta grippy rubberized business we all seems to love now. It was very easy to slide the phone in and snap it into place. I'll put it thru it's paces and see how it does. The led indicators on the back are a nice touch, as is the built-in kickstand. Give me a few days to see if any issues arise.
