I don't know how but the pop up is called 'toast'
If you mean the actual popups and not the toast_frame.9.png, then the popups are all named popup_*.9.png in res/drawable/ of framework-res.apk

is there any reg edit that can change the text colour on the today screeen from white to black, or maybe a small program or something
you can use tweaks2k2 to do that. Trial version is fully complete, but caps at 3 restarts
i think its better if you will change all!

Its either status_bar.xml or status_bar_icon.xml inside framework-res.apk /res/layout.

Hey all. I've successfully removed all of the T-mobile ugly pink from my Pulse framework but this text highlight is driving me crazy. Does anyone know how to change the text highlight color?
framework-res.apk/res/values/styles.xml
Search for highlight and you'll find it.
The best way to change it will be through apktool.

It's in your Launcher.apk not framework. Makes it harder to do for the masses because everybody uses different home app. Not all of them just the ones from your home screen.
