You need to flash the new radio (2.42.01.04.27). See his webpage for the download link.

Could be wrong but you don't have to use the new radio. The other radios still work.
If mobile data is disabled, you need to use an older version. I recomend 2.07.2

I only say that because I flashed damages the other day and I had the same issue. I updated my radio and it worked fine.
Had the same problem earlier running Fresh Toast 2.1 where I couldn't do anything with data, though I could still search the market. Was using the Verizon .09 radio. I'll try again later with the newest radio, but reverted back to Fresh 2.0d for now.

I had the thread bookmarked but I lost it ?? Thanks

back when he released it i was talking to him about updating it cause reboot into bootloader doesnt work and he said hes gonna make an update but never did..
Stupid question... The radio isn't tied to the version release, is it? For example I run a Froyo ROM. A GB radio isn't going to cause me issues, is it?
It shouldn't matter, no.
05.02 has better data speeds. anyone dare to challenge me and ill post speedtest screenshots. I get .18mbs down on 05.06 and I get .75mbs down with 05.02

That's not the same for everyone. It's heavily dependent on where you are.
Hello,
I cannot update my PRL using any 2.1 rom I flash. It tries then says failed. Can anyone assist me with update via PRL.zip?? Thanks
If it's the official 2.1 Sense ROM released by Sprint, you could very well work with Sprint to fix it. If not, then need more details...

Yeah... In my opinion, That's the Most Effective Rom for Updating it! I tried others and ran into a few Headaches.
But for whatever reason the Fresh Rom did it First time, No Problem!

775...What kind of dialer are you using that doesn't have the letters with the numbers? Is Sprint your provider or somebody else? What steps are you doing to try and update the PRL without the dialer?
I tried on Saturday night and it wouldn't update for me either. I tried the next day, then it finally did. I have never had a problem in the past, but I did that one day. I always use NFX. 2.32.651.2 to do my updates. It was flying with the new .35 kernel too, but that's besides the point.
i just used my nand of the original 2.1 update ruu and it worked fine and older zen roms will work as well
So I am pretty new to CyanogenMod and haven't flashed or rooted a phone since the EVO 3D. So I flashed the latest nightly version and everything went fine besides not being able to get a mobile connection on my phone. I can make calls and send text but any app that needs 3g to refresh doesn't work unless I am on wi-fi. I was wondering if someone could direct me to the latest version that still has 3g connectivity im getting really frustrated. BTW I am on Sprint. Appreciate all your help.
Thanks for your time,
Tim
Try 2/28 or older to be safe. There was a major ril change in the past few days that has caused some issues such as no data. That all should be sorted out soon if it's not already but 2/28 was before it so it should be fine. I don't have Sprint to verify but I think this will help.

Thanks for your help. I was reading that somewhere and I go to "http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=m7spr" ND and the updates jump from 11-2 to 3-1. Do you know of another website I can get the version from 2-28??

3/1 build actually should be ok. I was trying to be conservative in recommending 2/28.

Flashed it and still no mobile connections. not even calls or anything anymore. I tried to install Viper earlier to see if that fixed it and I think it messed it up even more. I used GURU reset method " http://www.htc1guru.com/downloads/stock-rom-downloads/ " and touch didnt work but I could still see there was no mobile connection. Am I missing something?? Idc what I have to do I just need my phone to work again for calls and text at this point. Thanks for your help and advice

Thanks mate. It worked on HTC One M8 Sprint.
I am on CM 12.1 (Lollipop 5.1.1) and FM is not included in that ROM. I downloaded and installed this in my phone. Installation went fine, but when I tried to open the app, it does not open, and gives out a message "Unfortunately, FM Radio has stopped." I rebooted the phone and tried again, but the same result.
Can you please help? I use FM very heavily during commute and now struggling to get one.
I was on stock 4.2 Jellybean. My device is HTC One XL (AT&T HTC One X) --> Evita.
Any help would be appreciated!

I'm not sure why it's not in 12.1 but CM has in the past kept an FM radio. It may be a waste of data if you don't have unlimited but maybe you can download CM12 and grab the FM radio app from it. The stock might not work on an aosp rom. You might have to get the AOSP radio app.

Thank you for your response.
I might be sounding nerd here but I need to ask...
Can I directly install the CM 12 ROM on top of 12.1?
Will it be the same general procedure? Wipe Cache/data/dalvik cache/format system/install rom?
And How would I grab the FM radio app from it?
Apologies again for being ignorant!
Cheers
Saabir
Edit: The best would be if I could get my hands on the CM 12 FM Radio app and install it!

Good job!
There are many ways to grab a file from a ROM, you can always extract it from the ROM zip, or install the ROM and use an app to extract it, either file manager app or an app backup app are the 2 easiest.
Either way, glad you figured it out.
For future reference unless you wipe everything it is considered a "dirty flash" to flash a rom over another one. If you wipe everything and install, it is considered "clean flash" and the best way to go.
Virus suspected please help me Unistall

I've used it, it's not that.
It's the version that works on Lollipop.
You're back at the first KitKat OTA from Sprint.
Sure you didn't install the new one as an update and it's the original system-level radio left behind that you can't uninstall?

I would suggest restoring the backup you made in TWRP before flashing that latest CM12 ROM. If you didn't make a backup, then you could return to stock by flashing one of the 5.1 factory images.
I had the same issue, but flashing the latest radio from the latest developer images from google fixed my issue.
