music to bluetooth headset - G1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hey guys just looking for a way to make music play through my bluetooth headset. is there an app i can download to make it so? thanks

can't you just turn on bluetooth and pair it with your headset?
Once I pair my BT headset and turn on BT, all audio goes to the headset.

You need an A2DP Stereo headset.

Cool, a new headphone equalizer program but...

It works not with BT headset. When I launch the app it says to plug in a headphone in order to use. And if I use BT headphones???
Just plain silly
yeah eq's won't work with BT or wired headsets. The only you can do for BT is to make sure you have the ideal AD2P settings in the registry
Hi,
Do you think there is a solution to make it work with stereo bluetooth headset ?

Is there a way to use bluetooth as headset?

I have been trying to use my bluetooth headset to play music from my phone into the headset. and it just doesnt work... is there a setting or a way to make my headset play music via the headset?
????
what kind of headset...mono ...one ear????
You need to be using an A2DP-enabled headset like the Plantronics Voyager 855.
or use this program. when enabled it redirects sound from phone to bluetooth headset. works fine if you just want something to listen to. it is not full stereo quality. but its pretty useful!
cool
thanks icewhitenewyear, exactly what I have been looking for saved me buying a new headset, nice one

Music via Bluetooth Headset

Hi!
Im using Plantronics Explorer 220 bluetooth headset without A2DP audio... im looking for application which will provide listening to music via bluetooth without A2DP. Many apps which ive found are not working unfortunately what apps are you using ppl?
regards
My god man, how can you listen to music through only one ear! Does it cause you to walk around it circles?
Why not get a real stereo headset? (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Ericsson-Bluetooth-Headset-HBH-DS970/dp/B000H3Z2K8)
Meantime I believe that Conduits' PocketPlayer will do this for you (http://www.conduits.com/products/player/):
Support for Bluetooth stereo headphones (A2DP), buttons (AVRCP), and mono headsets (Audio Gateway)!

Maybe
I have Motorola S9 BT and the music pauses ever 15/20 seconds. I used the S9s with a Touch before the Diamond with no problems and worked great but with the Diamond it sucks.

Sound/ Navigation instructions through bluetooth headset

I got a bluetooth headset for in the car.
Now I want to hear the instructions from my navigation and other sounds on my X1 through my headset. TomTom navigator 7 doesn't have this option. So anyone knows a good free app?
i havent tried it but im pretty sure that it works. ill try it latter if i can find my bluetooth headset.
yeah it works. x1a, tt 7.910, jabra bt3030 head set
Can you tell me how you got it to work? Because i can't find any options in tomtom 7.915
it should do it automaticaly when you pair up your bluetooth headset. my headset is both wireless stereo and hands free compatable.

You need to have a headset that is wireless stereo compatible... same as having a wired headset plugged in.

More background? What would be the source and what would be the listening device? If you want to listen to music on the Dream with bluetooth headsets, then yes of course you can. Pair the devices, turn your headset on and press play in whatever music app you want to use.
the source is the g1 the BT is a generic bt I hit play after pairing and it plays out of the phone speaker.

Is it a stereo bluetooth headset (i.e. it has A2DP support)? P sure audio sources will only route to A2DP devices. Could be mistaken though.

That's still actually just a telephone call. Actual mp3s playing on a phone will be treated as media audio (as opposed to phone audio) by the Android system.
