Helllp , guys,...my nexus one didn't start at all - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, just today I've recieved my new google nexus one, after charging the battery for 2 hrs, i tried to start the nexus one, but when nexus animation starts it's converted into blue instead of coloured.
then my device reboot without touching anything,
it still doing like this 2-3 times then hang on the nexus coloured symbol.
after a while i tried to start again it was the same
another try, it worked and start android system , and after 4 minutes it restarted and doesn't boot the system again, just restarting
i don't know what's going wrong with it.
Please Hellllllp

i highly dought you animation turned blue on a new phone without the bootloader unlocked and a custom rom on it.

Actually, YES, my friend unlocked it and put an Arabic supported ROM, I tried to change the ROM to the original and still the same

Well seems like he has flashed Cyanogen for you too.. Try reflash it and se if that helps.

I tried to reflash the ROM, I have the same problem everytime,

Boot loop after CM7 & Baseband 15

Hi Guys,
I had a reboot loop problem in my X8 after installing Viber from a Wifi connection and decided to mod it. I successfully unlocked the boot loader & rooted my Xperia X8. Flashed it with CM7 RC1 V4. I rebooted the phone to see the Cyanogen Mod screen with the skate board and it proceeded to ask me a question about the setup wizard or market option, I made a selection and the phone went dead. It rebooted and started hanging on the SE logo. I thought it was due to Baseband 15 and flashed it but no luck.
I have Clockwork Mod on it and can randomly enter it also. I would appreciate any help and pointers, is this an issue due to using the wifi and is the hardware at fault. Once the boot loop starts the battery drains pretty fast I can see the Cyanogen battery status icon and try to wait for it to charge completely
Many thanks & regards

* Did you factory reset it from CWM before installing the ROM? Boot loops are common when one doesn't, particularly if you're coming from another ROM (from what you say, I guess you're coming from stock 2.1)
* It seems that you flashed baseband 015 AFTER flashing the new ROM. AFAIK it should be done BEFORE flashing a new ROM, while still on stock 2.1. If that's the case, you'd have to go back to 2.1 using SEUS (or Flashtool; there are stock ROM images here on XDA), THEN flash baseband 015, THEN root, THEN flash CM7 again.
---
As a side note, you unlocked your bootloader but didn't install a new kernel, which is what one normally unlocks the bootloader for. Unlocking the bootloader isn't needed to flash a ROM as long as it works with the stock kernel (most don't, but yours should.)
Mod issue or battery or hardware fault

Many thnks for the reply mate, what you said is right. I might have missed a few things. But I reflashed Baseband 15 yesterday before your reply to my post and now it seems to be booting into cyanogen mod happily but each time it takes only a few seconds and through a few setup screens before it reboots again. This is exactly what was happening even on the stock ROM before doing any Mod procedure and the battery gets drained too. Could this be a hardware fault.

i didnt get it, when on setup screen you mean when it tells to add your email.....and when you are finished it reboots?!
if i understood well, there is no hardware problem, go to cwm, full wipe-factory reset, advanced>wipe dalvik, reinstall your rom(install custom zip) and it should work:fingers-crossed:

Thanks for the reply stamatis, basically its just shutting down because there is no battery left to power it, it seems. At times it reaches upto the setup wizard (shown when booting for the first time), the next time it could go up to adding a gmail account or language selection screen. I have even seen it load the home screen before it shuts off. This all started happening after downloading some apps from a wifi connection. I have done that before wiping and re installing but will try again. My presumption is that since it was happening on stock ROM and now on CM7 too then it's probably a hardware issue

ok i see now, your problem is battery drain,
is it that extream? i mean, you charge to full and when you open it up it shut down by low battery?
have you try to opening while charging?is it the same?
are you sure its charging?
that way too xtream to be software problem so its more likely that its hardware...

yes you got it right. I do charge it fully and when it boots the CM7 UI for a few seconds the battery goes down half or even less or nearly empty. I have tried opening it while charging and thats when the above happens, yes I can see the Cyanogen charging icon. So you think its a hardware issue and I should not pursue it further

yea, i guess your battery almost dead.....and i dont think its a good idea to by new battery, you better buy new phone,as the batteries are quite expensive if you think that the worth of the x8 right now would be 50 euros....
Try ebay bro

[Q] HTC one reboots after running custom ROM

I recently finally got a ROM to my HTC one successfully...I am on the Cyanogen mod.
However, like the ROM i istalled previously, my phone keeps rebooting randomly after a couple minutes or just a minute of being on and operating flawlessly.
any fix to this? Ive read around, i dont think this is the same as bootloop?
Also, my phone has no service or ability to activate my phone after, how to on that?
ONE THING:
I may/may not have (i did) accidentally flash a ROM designed for a GSM phone to my phone....COuld that have caused this problem???

[Q] Hard Bricked Nexus 6

Dear Nexus 6 users
Please save my ass and help me debrick my nexus 6. I rooted my N6 the day I got it, flashed multiple ROM and everything was working perfectly I was playing sim city and my phone suddenly switched off tried starting it but it only showed 2 secs of the boot screen and switched off.
I booted to TWRP and tried flashing another ROM but it for some reason TWRP couldn't see my storage so i decided to flash stock downloaded the WUG nexus tool and BOOM now I have a nice brick.
It doesn't boot into recovery or even show the google sign but BUT it says QHSUSB_BULK when I connect it to my PC, shipping back would be damn near impossible since I live in Egypt, lets just keep it as a last resort soooo any ideas? thanks you for your time.

Phone reboots after i just plug in usb or even charger

Hi everyone. i am new here!
I just used odin to get back to stock rom for my captivate, i had [4.2.2]Captivating(Xperia Themed)[RC2] rom installed before i installed stock rom
everything working fine right now but when i plug my usb into the phone to copy some files it just automatically turns off after 4-5 second and it stays turned off , and when i unplug usb, its automatically turns on again. even when i plug my phone charger, happening same thing. that means i can't even charge my phone! was searching this problem , there are some similar problems but not like this, could not find any solution yet.
- Tried 2 different usb cabels but same thing happening on both.
- I did not drop my phone or something like that.
- battery was working fine. except it loses energy pretty faster, like 1 day.
I installed stock rom because i wanted to fix my IMEI problem and then wanted to go back to Captivating xperia themed rom. now IMEI is fixed but how do i install rom if i can't even use my usb?
Please help!
Thanks.
Never mind. i fixed it by my self. looks like it was my stock rom causing that usb problem. i installed another rom by using "download mode" from odin. now my problem is fixed but my imei is still messed up. hope i will fix that soon too.

You'll have to flash stock 2.3 with Odin to fix your imei.

Yeah i know, that's what i did because of imei but then this problem started what i mentioned. so i went to costom rom again and phone does not reboot anymore but yea imei is still messed up, but i can still receive calls and messages, but "antenna" is on very low, like 1 or 2 lines.

That could be your modem, might need to flash another.
For your imei, try to flash another ROM from stock. Your phone obviously doesn't like the one you're using atm.

Modem is the radio. Just like a kernel, you can flash another that could work better in your area.

Want a new ROM the current one totally bugged

Hello guys,
Currently I run Android Revolution HD 93.0 by mike1986
HTC Sense Version: 6.0
Android Version 5.0.2
Recently dunno what happened, but my phone randomly stucks in the boot screen with the HTC logo and I need to restart it like 10 times till it runs properly again.
My question is, how do I install a new custom ROM when I already have this one ? Do I need to return to a stock ROM or something till I can flash a new one or ? I have no clue. Thanks in advance.
Btw. If any of you can help me find what causes this problem my phone to stuck in the boot screen I'll be more than happy.
I can't remember which app did this, but I remember receiving the notification on my phone to chose how to install the new update for this app, and there were 2 options
- Normal install
-Install through Recovery (recommended) and I think I clicked the Normal install option and since then the phone stucks randomly in the boot screen.

Do you know how to flash a ROM? Sorry for the question, but reading your post, I get the feeling that you're in the dark about flashing stuff. And that app that caused your issue i SuperSU.

Yeah I've done it many times in the past on my old HTC Desire and now on HTC One by following step by step guides. However I totally lost interest in these custom ROMs and etc. in the past year and basically forgot everything, but when there's something urgent I always come back here to ask for help
However I think I fixed the stuck in boot screen issue by upgrading my TWRP to the latest version, no idea ... but now whenever I start the phone it turns on normally and there are absolutely no problems.
