Whenever im texting sometimes the little icon that shows that the text is being sent just stays there and doesnt go away, but it actually sends the text. If i reboot the phone it will send all the texts that have those icons. So now everytime that icon doesnt go away i have to delete the whole thread. Suggestions anyone?? Im using HTC Clays SuperBadCM5 1.4

Hello all,
I just installed the trial of sms chat onto my tytn-II and whilst it has worked ok for sms I have today hit a problem with an incoming mms message.
I also have the ifonz theme installed so all I am getting is 1 showing next to the task and email icons on the front screen and when I go into sms chat there is a blank mesaage, in normal messaging there is nothing showing but there was the incoming mms signal at the top that you get when an mms is on it's way if that makes sense?
I have tried rebooting the phone and uninstalling sms chat to no avail, the incoming message icon is now gone but the number one is still showing against the icons on the front screen . Anybody seen this before? and is there any way to clear those icons as that is going to drive me mad!
Also sms chat is a bit ugly, I tried pocketcm but did not like the integration with contacts, the other 2 options I have seen are the palm one but I am unsure of the bugs with that and whether it will work 100% or the wm6.1 one which I am assuming will not work on wm6?
Thanks
I have a constant on SMS "bubble" on the Home screen SMS Icon showing 1 SMS when there isnt one, the slider has no issues and works as advertised. Any Ideas on how to get that to go away. Thanks.

how do u guys turn off the sound when sending sms? whenever after my sms is sent, there will be a pop out window stating 'sms sent' and there will be a sound. how do i switch off tt function?
Search!
There are loads of references to disabling the SMS Sent notification on the forum - you can do it in registry or by using something like TD2 Tools.
Personally, I'm trying to get the notification BACK, as occasionally I miss the fact that an SMS hasn't gone!
Cant find any help
I was searching the whole forum for a while and I could not find anything on how to remove the sound when an SMS is sent, I reset my phone and I remember getting the sound to go away just by doing something on the phone and not downloading anything but I cant remember how I did it
Can anyone help by telling me step by step instructions on how to get rid of the sms sent sound notification (Alarm2)
Im having trouble with damage rom ... when im on a call with someone whenever i get a text the ringer comes on while on the phone y... im using chomp sms ... i dont think that has nothing to do with it ... cause im sure it was doing this when i was using the regular one ... help
while in your dialer, press menu and go to options. Should be one in there for message notification while in call
I apologize if this has been asked/resolved before, but I searched the forums and google quite a bit to no avail. I have found other instances of people with this issue but have not found a resolution yet.
Every time I receive a single text message, I get a notification on the unlock screen that says I have 2 texts. When I unlock the phone and pull down the notification area, it lists the 2 texts. One of the texts is the actual text i just received and I can access it just fine. The other text listed is a text from weeks ago that has long been deleted, including the entire thread it was in. This ghost text will not go away.
I can clear the notifications and it goes away, but as soon as I receive another text from anyone, it pops up there again. I have tried some other solutions that popped up on google. These were to download the SMS Cleaner app and search by keyword. Upon doing this, the app does not find any texts with the keywords from the ghost text.
I have also tried replying to the text to create a new thread and maybe try to delete it again, but even when the new thread is created/deleted the ghost text comes back.
I also turned off/on text notifications several times also combined with power cycling the phone, which did not solve this either.
Note: This text was from a room alert system in our server room at work. It sends email alerts that we then have converted to text message and sent to our phones.
Not sure if it being an email has anything to do with it, but I have received these alerts several times before without any of them getting stuck.
My phone is still on 2.1 and was rooted using Unleash the Beast.
Anyone have the same problem, or any ideas? Is there a folder that holds texts somewhere in the root file system that I can clean out?
Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to give as much detail about the problem as possible, this has been annoying me for weeks.
Try deleting the email alert? Just spitballing...
This happened to me last night!
I keep getting the same Ghost Txt message
The only way i can think to get rid of it would be a Data Reset.
But i dont wanna erase my whole phone cuz of a software issue that may happen again!
Have u fixed it?
No, still no luck on this. Anyone have any ideas?
I had a problem similar to this with the dumb phone that i had before my Captivate. I called AT&T customer support because I didn't want to reset my phone and they got it resolved. Apparently there was a message stuck in their server marked as unread, but since it had been read on my phone it said 0 new messages. This might work for you, too?
Solved
Open the spot where notifications are read the phone number and send a text to it, it will open the message thread and you can delete it there
Basically what happens is I recieve a new text. So I go click on 'text' in titanium. The new message opens up in the sms app and then it autoscrolls up, hiding the message, and highlights the persons name. So now I have to scroll back down to see the message. It's just sort of an inconvenience. This only happens when there is more texts than the screen can display in the conversation. Does this happen to anyone else, better yet does anyone know how to fix it? cause it's a royal pain.
