Nexus One + Froyo Live Wallpapers - Hero, G2 Touch Themes and Apps

Hey,
I'm looking for default Nexus One (I belive it's called Nexus One Mod on the Market) and default Froyo Live Wallpapers for Hero (VillainROM 6.2). The Nexus One Mod from the Market sadly is not only not supported by creator no more but also does not work. So, I was wondering if anyone had or knew of whereabouts of these two Live Wallpapers?
Nexus One default (colorful moving horizontal and vertical lines on a dark barely visible grid)
Froyo default (diagonal colorful thin lines moving around)
Thanks!

I didnt think the hero supported live wallpapers even when rooted and using custom roms?
Least I cant get them to work on my hero using cronos rom

It does in VillainROM at least and they run like a charm but the Nexus one from the Market doesn't... I mean I understand that not all have to because they were not meant to anyway, but I also hope that it doesn't cause it's not optimised for lower resolution of Hero compared to Nexus1 and when you download it of the Market it does say that it's not supported no more...

nexus wallpaper
Im not a pro but this is an apk i installed with astro file manger and it works with villain. The original nexus live wallpaper .apk is attached. Or you can try nexus revamped on the market, but it has a little different look to it. Im new but I am trying my best to help out. Just let me know if i did anything wrong.

The one you are looking for has a higher resolution, but u can give it that dark background in the settings when ur selecting a live wallpaper. Sadly I do not have the froyo one, but I pretty much have all the other ones.

Thanks for those! A lot actually!
I will try them out as soon as I finish testing/benchmarking various ROMs and find something new, fast and with LW support (cause new VR 10 doesn't).

no probs
no probs man anytime, I got an idea too, maybe we should have a live wallpaper section in here as a sticky, but i dunno how many ppl will commit.

THANK YOU!! Finally have working LWP's on my Eris.

If you canbt see live wallpapers in the wallpaper menu you will need to push livewallpaperpicker from another rom

I'm trying to find the Water live wallpaper that came stock with the Galaxy S, the one with the red floating leaves that ripples when the screen is touched. Anyone have the apk file?

[Theme UPDATE] RA's Umbrella Corporation Employee Phone-RC33 JF1.41 and 1.42 tested

Hi Everyone,
This theme was originally posted by RandumAccess, knowing that he is in a new job and spending time with Family, I decided to take it upon myself (with RA's approval) I updated the theme for use with RC33.
I made a few modifications to the them, namely the clock, the dial pad buttons and a few of the Icon's.
I also copied all of the original wallpaper files on the phone with the Basic Grey wallpaper to keep the size of the file down and added the original wallpapers designs into the theme so that the wallpaper gallery works as well as the functional wallpapers.
If you have any issues with this theme, please let me know and I will correct any problems that arise as quickly as possible.
The theme can be downloaded from the following site:
http://Rapidshare.com/files/196190608/rc33UmbrellaUpdate.zip
No fingerprint scanner version:
http://rapidshare.com/files/197587070/no_fingerprint.zip
I have had issues with XDA truncating the URL which causes issues, so here is another link, copy and paste this to browser window:

Great job, Shadizar!
Keep up the great work, it is appreciated.
Is there any way you could change it to where it doesn't have the thumb scanner?
It will make it look a little cleaner. Plus why do you need a thumb scanner to aceess your apps and everything. You already 'logged' onto the phone during the boot process.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this theme. It's been my main one, however I got tired of the thumb scanner.

You did a great job on this!
Sorry it took so long to say that! I have been busy... which is why i have been posting "Simple" themes for now
thanks again for taking over my theme while I wasnt able to deal with high demand for updates at the time... Looks Great!
just wanted to say how much i love your theme and appreciate your work. cant wait for more updates to come. and a suggestion.....could u change the menu icons to something more colorful and not just the umbrella logo on the icon....thanx...
EDIT: What My Screens Look Like Thanx To You...
AND...the dialer buttons are really choppy...
I'll have to get on downloading this theme tonight.
It wouldn't load for me, even after doing a wipe. It hangs at the G1 screen and just stays there made me a sad panda!
i love this theme, but i would love a STARS or even a BSAA theme even more

Make sure you have RC33. This is designed for RC33, the developer took lots of time to do it.
Also, where is the original wallpaper in the wallpaper gallery. I switched it to a different one, now can't switch it back. I love the original that comes with the phone and it doesn't appear to be on there. Any way you can put it up?
perfect theme with icons but it has just a little too much red, maybe if it could change it could be better, more of a neutral color maybe white or black

[GDE THEMES] New themes including hi-res for droid and n1!

I'm reposting this here cos I'd really like some feedback on how these themes are looking on non-g1 devices.. specifically hdpi devices like the droid. Hope you like them.
---
Obsidian 2.0 and the counterpart Porcelain are up on the market, get them while they're fresh! Just search "goldenarmZ".
The new themes include a couple of fixes from Obsidian 1.0, New wallpaper in standard and hi-res editions, and a custom matching clock widget for each skin. I hope you will consider this worth the small fee I'm asking. I'm trying to raise the bar for GDE themes here but I can't afford to put much time in for free, I hope you all understand.
Thanks to all the people who installed and enjoyed the original Obsidian skin, I hope you enjoy it enough to upgrade!
More quality themes will be coming very soon!

ive ran Obsidian a few times on my Eris and it looks flawless.
very classy skin with no hiccups!
I ran obsidian on my hero for a while, it's excellent.
Bokeh
I am running Bokeh, it looks great on the Droid with HexFusion. I downloaded it for the drawer primarily because the cool GDE cube transitions limit what you can do with launchers and drawers.
Thanks for the feedback
There are a couple more themes up now, all designed to be pin-sharp on hdpi devices as well as standard. I've also just uploaded legacy versions for those poor souls still running cupcake with no prospects of an upgrade.
Keep checking the market, I've got plenty more ideas for GDE!
Just uploaded a new theme that fans of Obsidian might enjoy.. "Sicko"
This one should look badass on hi-res phones.
Gonna keep posting these here even though nobody replies I know you're looking.
New theme "Thrashed" is now in the market, pink and green versions available!
ur themes are nuts..they help my eris look nutty!
so i didnt quite find "sicko" but i did find "Obsidian 2.0" is that it?
lastly, if u can do the thrashed in a grey font that would be great!

There's a reworked black version in the market now as well.. "Magma"
My wife really likes the Thrashed Pink theme. But this is my first time messing with GDE. (Always ran launcher2 and MM/ROMs for themes) SO my question is, do you have or is there a way to get an Icon pack that matches the Thrashed theme? I have MM on her droid, so that would even work.
Thanks
Tony
armz that magma is DOOOOOOOPE
..as the dude above me said, just need to find some kick ass icons to match ..

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you on this.. I forgot to check this thread.
GDE doesn't support icons as part of themes at the moment, but I think it's on the to-do list. The only way I could do it at the moment is metamorph but tbh, I've never looked into that.
I don't usually bother with custom icons because there's only so far you can take it.. there will always be unthemed icons in your tray, and that non-uniformity bothers me a lot more than using the stock icons. I may release some icons in the future if there's enough interest.
ok can we have one theme for free so we can try it out and see if we like your themes
I have tried a number of home replacement apps such as Ahome, Panda, Open Home Last night I scanned the GDE app and it is like a complete harmonious convergence on my Motorola Cliq Titanium. The GDE home replacement app just rocks and I like the organizational structure.
Sure GDE may not have as many skins and widgets as some of the other replacement programs but it seems they are starting to spawn now. I will trade off less comparative choice for stability. No repetitive forced closures or weird manifestations. Manipulating the GDE interface and submenu is smooth as silk.

To be honest I don't know... For sure it will works on 800x480 devices, but the original Background image I skinned is 320x100 px, so it may be aswell resolution aware and scaled to adapt to any resolution. I checked the Smooth Calendar entry on the market and there's no sign of requirements nor limitations. Some of the reviewers seem to have N1, Droid, G1, myTouch, BH2, Milestone, CLIQ...

I'd be forever grateful if you perhaps could add one who's all black? Cuz the "black" one here is not all black, but some strange color in the top
I installed the Eclair "black" one on my Motorola Droid. The eclair theme isn't black anyway, it's more of a dark grey, so I think it matches perfectly. The widget does have visible lines between the last two shades as it get darker towards the right of the widget. Maybe that's because it's on a Droid?
I would attach a screen shot or a link for reference, but I can't.
Otherwise, I love what you've done with it. My one gripe about Smooth Calendar was that it didn't match the other stock Android widgets. This totally fixes that problem. Thanks for your work.
I get a chopped off icon, any idea why, it happens with the original skin too, I'm on a unrooted desire

Hey The black skin is intended to match the dark grey-ish look and feel of Android Eclair. Probably I should have called it in a different way cuz the name is somehow misleading. Right now I'm quite busy with my university exams, but if I should have any spare time I'll create a new black skin. Would you like a 100% opaque black or black with some transparency?

CM6 is fairly usable at beta2 in my opinion. A few quirks are still there which take a sec to work around (like changing the sdcard location so ROM manager- --> install ROM fails but their clockwork recovery works).
However, wifi/ gps/ a number of other things now works....

Darlow, I must admit my favourite parts of your themes are your custom spinners. Another awesome theme (must be cause your Canadian too).
Also, just a quick question, is there anyway to port a mdpi theme to a hdpi device? There's a glorious theme by the name of Minimal Matte in the general theme forum but it's mdpi. I don't even mind doing the porting myself, as long as it's possible.
How do you get simi clock to show the days of the week like that?

It may be as easy as putting the mdpi files in the hdpi folder, I can try that tonight. Just, everyone seems so interested in porting themes the other way.
darlow, this theme looks outstanding! It gets old seeing all the dark/black themes.
if you ever get the urge to port it over for perception, i'd be eternally grateful.
about to be using your red soul theme for lack of this one
I'd love to see a port for Assonance!!
I'd love to start work on a white theme like this for Perception. I'm rather new to the android scene though, so if anyone would be willing to help out beyond the basics listed in these forums, I think we could put together something nice with influence from this and the original Avalon themes.

HTC Hub/HTCsense.com Skins (Thread updated as new ones are released)

This thread will be updated as HTC uploads more skins to HTCsense.com. Until then these are the currently available skins. I have provided this as a means for a sensible HTC Hub substitute until HTCsense/HTC Hub is available on the ThunderBolt. I am able to access the hub through my Incredible, and so I will update as HTC does.

BlackBoard Beta
Slate, Metal, BlackBoard (Chalk Version) are all pre-installed on ThunderBolt
BlackBoard (attachment below) is the Very FIRST version of a test Skin that HTC never finished nor released officially.
NOTE: Installing BlackBoard will overwrite your BlackBoard (Chalk Version), so it would be best to backup your current com.htc.skin.BlackBoard.apk located in data/app or system/app. Uninstall current one before installing Beta one.
I hope you all enjoy this, if so, click thanks
Sticky?
I was looking for these! thanks!!
Looks Nice....
Thanks for posting!
For folk that might not want to wait forever for HTC to finally decide to make some Sense Skins that you would actually want to use (Chinese new year.... really?) You might want to give some of these Skins a try... I have everyone on my incredible.. and jump from one to another all the time.
Hope you enjoy as much as I do!
Note: if using XDA mobile app be sure to scroll all the way down until you see download links, it's easier to see what is what on full website page... then locate using mobile app to download directly. (Imo)
My favorite is the "PCB Sense"

Using Root Explorer or another Root file browser, mount system so you can rewrite/write files, then go to
System/App/BlackBoard.apk
if its not in there
look for a blackboard.apk inside
Data/App
but its most likely in System/App
here's what it should look like (make sure your using the default Rosie skin before deleting any of the skins in this manner as a precaution)

Way to hijack a thread meant to provide Official Skins, this thread is a means for those that can't access HTC Hub.
As far as SopL87's skins goes, yeah there nice but alot of them are based off the official skins and are all using mixed up elements, including my own from my themes. Another thing to consider is, none of his skins support Landscape, while they do change to Landscape, they switch over to there Non-Skinned form when in Landscape.
Only Gadget and myself have Landscape skins so far
I'd really like for someone to fix the blackboard beta skin (huge selection buttons). It's not a big deal, but my OCD will NOT let me run it with that going on. I love that skin, otherwise.
Thanks for providing these. I was curious to know what HTC had available. I think it's pretty homo that their newest flagship phone doesn't have access to HTChub. Way to go on dropping the ball HTC.
awesome thank you man
hey i was wondering im not sure if this is the place or not..but when i put certain themes on like for instance the Chinese New Years theme, the widget i have on to put my phone on silent, vibrate, loud gets cut off..it's the stock htc settings widget for sound profile. the word "profile" under neath the widget gets cut in half.

Are you using custom fonts or is your ROM using a custom Font?
this sounds like widget wasn't designed to fully fit that font
I had this trouble with certain fonts, and not that many fit perfectly without hacking the xml files to make the text fit properly.
Hey thanks for doing this!! do u think you can post the apk for the original skins because the rom im using left them out and i can't find them anywhere! thanks!

Actually i have thought of doing that originally but decided to leave them out since they were part of the stock ROM, why any ROM developer would remove them is completely rediculous, there basically forcing you to use there "theme" even if it is crappy. Thats what I hate about custom ROM's anymore, they remove so much that makes the experience not as good as stock and force you to use what THEY like.
I'll take a look at my file dump and post them when i get a chance to my OP

Thank you very much! They're beautiful!
What wallpaper are you using in the blackboard skin
I understand that the slate and metal theme are included but would i be able to find an apk for any of those themes...or perhaps a flashable zip??
Any help would be appreciated
Nevermind I found them. Thanks tho
Sent from my HTC Evo.
Can we get some that work with sense 3.0? I have been looking but no one seems to be able to port them.
