Im curious, if HTC does push out the divx support from the desire, can it be ported to the nexus one? Or would it have to be ported from a desire's rom?

I was reading this http://www.androidguys.com/2009/12/...m_campaign=Feed:+androidguyscom+(AndroidGuys) and seen that HTC have app for some devices but will it work on a Mytouch using a Hero rom, well I found the rom its http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4754143&postcount=6 this rom works. So you can use the HTC apps. I have a Video of Dice app from HTC, Note I try other roms. I know for sure that Qteknology works.
These are widgets and after downloading go to HTC widget and add.

hi,
I have installed cyanogen to my new desire hd. I miss the connected media and the possibility to send photos and video from the phone to xbmc. Is there any alternative to this functionality of htc sense ?
Thanks.
Plugplay is one I know however it is a paid app

Hi.
I'v installed CM6.1-RC2 rom.
It's nice but I can't find any music app supporting Dolby mobile.
I'v simply copy HTC music app.apk from the original DHD
and paste it my phone. but it doesn't work.
How could I get HTC's music app in my phone?
or Is there any app supporting Dolby mobile?
Afaik sense apps only run on sense roms. With the minor exception of the keyboard.
You can do some music effects with dsp manager.

Can't you just flash that app through recovery?

You can't just copy the APK as the music app requires the Sense (Rosie) Framework. While CM will never implement any vendor specific framework or apps, it is possible to implement running the framework on AOSP ROMs.
Right now I suggest you try Poweramp as it has some excellent features.
Personally, I've stuck using the CoreDroid ROM when normally I'm AOSP all the way, mainly because the SRS feature makes a huge difference to my music which is one of the primary uses for my phone.
You best ask Santa for a Dev for Xmas!
Regards.
Same here i love the SRS option thats why iv stuck with LeeDROID's ROM cannot wait for 1.3 hoping the base will be gingerbread
OK.. I think that it is impossible Dolby mobile works with CM6.1 rom.. h'm..I need to choose eigther CM or Dolby
Thank u guys

Hi guys i was wondering if is possible to port the htc sense stock music player that came with the htc One to the google play edition rom. I kinda love that music player. Any other music player similar to that with the gracenote option that updates your album covers will do the work if it cant be done. Can you guys help me?

I don't know about a similar one since I use sense roms, but most sense apps are almost impossible to port because they require the sense framework to work. So to make the music player work a Dev would also have to port all the "under the hood" parts of sense. Its a massive amount of work for little pay out.
