How to flash back to stock 1.5 radio, please help - Hero CDMA Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ive tried flashing the stock 1.5 radio and seemed to work but as it reboots and i check software info it still shows the 2.1 radio i flashed. Are there specific steps in flashing radios?

Yea, click search up there at the top..
There are only about 1500 threads about this same thing..
If that's too hard, ##786# from a 1.5 rom..

Help!

Hi, I recently tried rooting my g1. I got back to cupcake. When I used the 1 click Amon Ra method and it finished, when I got to recovery it was the g1's stock recovery. Now I'm stuck with cupcake. How can I fix this? All help is appreciated!
Also, I used this video: (both parts)
Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOkLYbnt5p0
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ks57t-d3M5s
Just to clarify, at the end of part 2 after I had flashed the recovery, I followed the instructions and wiped the card, then when I went in to recovery mode it was the stock recovery. I went back and did the 2 part tutorial again, but when I get to the recovery flasher and I type in the code, there's no option to flash it. again, any help at all is greatly appreciated!

Its gone because you didnt flash the radio while in rec mode..This is better to follow, one-click root seems to bring alot of people here...
http://theunlockr.com/2009/08/22/how-to-root-the-mytouch-3g-or-g1-in-one-click/
Thats where the steps originated from, follow that vid and guide instead.
You must carefully read and post in Q&A not dream's general sub-forum next time.
Thanks, but the link you sent was a tutorial on how to one click root.

Goto market and DL astro then DL flashrec too.
Flashrec is here
http://zenthought.org/system/files/asset/2/flashrec-1.1.3-20091107-2.apk

Ok, now I successfully flashed the recovery, I haven't booted into recovery yet, but on the guide I linked you to it says to download cyanogen and the ADP 1.6 update, if I am going to be using Super D, how would the guide change?
also, it just popped up and asked if I wanted to update to donut, very weird

[Q] Phone just keeps rebooting

Ok I was going to try a new rom and decided to do the superwipe , I put the new rom in and all I'm getting is the time and battery on the top screen and then it just keeps rebooting. I tried to put my back up in and i get the same. I try installing a other rom and I get up to the wifi password and it shuts off and reboots back to the screen with just the time and battery showing...hope someone is awake to help me out.
Are you using roms from the Sprint forums?

No I downloaded it from my phone. I have had that rom for a while and never had issues with it. I think something with the superwipe went wrong cause I noticed that the phone did a wierd small reboot when the superwipe was finishing. Going home now from work ill text back with you later, thanks for your help so far.

No homescreen after root.

1.st off thanks for the extremely helpful guides and taking the time to root this device because the copious amount of OE bloatware is horrible.
2.nd I rooted my 510 and now i have no "home" screen. I can view apps and settings and if i recieve a text i can view it by clicking the notification but if i hit home it goes straight to the google search menu?
I tried a factory reset and nothing.
Thanks in advance.

How are you getting the zip over to the phone? Use adb push or an external sd card. You might need to wipe (factory reset) in TWRP before you try and install.

Sounds like a problem with boot. Do a factory reset in TWRP, flash http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57174863&postcount=1 and then afterwards flash that ROM.
Download the zip in this post and adb push that file to your TWRP/BACKUPS/ folder and restore like that. I forgot the other ROM I had you flash required a previous backup to have been made.

Regarding http://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-510/development/virgin-sprint-htc-desire-510-stock-t2961521 , are you going about it this way?
There's not really a rom that you can flash without already having a backup. If all else fails you can fastboot oem lock and then run the Sprint 510 RUU from http://www.htcdev.com/devcenter/downloads
dipspit that last link did it! Thank you so much for your help. Ive learned my lesson about not making backups haha.
