I know this app has been suspended but does anyone know where I can get it or a similiar app. If your not familiar with it. You can download video or the music from a video on YouTube Dailymotion and Google video .... any help would be greatly appreciated.... leech

I'm new to forums ... but have you tried Skifta. It is not optimized for the Xoom yet. Only works in portrait mode for me. Let me know if you can get files to play from other sources to the Xoom (espically video)

We just updated the version in the Android market to v0.73. Amongst many other things, this should fix up landscape mode and make it a bit more sensible to use on the Xoom.
Give it a go and let us know what you think!
Allan (of the Skifta team).
Twonky works. I have a media server and I am able to access video from several devices including the Xoom using Twonky. The thing with video is what type it is. I find avi has less issues. MP4 can be tricky.
I use it with PlayOn and Vortexbox as my backends and the new version with tablet support is exactly what I have been waiting for! Nice job!
I have been using it since I got my Xoom to stream from my xbmc box. It has worked pretty well for me. My only suggestion is to make sure and exit out of the app when you are done or it will murder your battery.

Simple answer, no. You either stream it, or download it. There's no in-between.
save youtube video
create youtube account and make playlist where you can save youtube videos for playback (streaming). You will still need internet connection to play videos though. To save videos for playback without internet connected you will have to download. Only way i know.
Please help I really want to watch soapcast, but the video seems to hang while the audio seems to play smoothly. Any way I can fix this ?, I so need this.
Download sopcast here:
