Well, after some work and learning, I give to you a theme that is loaded with blue. Blue is EVERYWHERE!!
I really didn't change icons or two many images. I mainly just made all orange / yellow hints blue, and added blue hints to everything. My aim is to make a completely unified blue theme on the base cyanogenmod rom. The theme also has glossy blue bars on the launcher. Screenshots below....
INFORMATION:
TheDude came up with an overlay to theme components of cyanogenmod at build time. After working with him on the overlay, this theme has been built with it. That means this theme is a complete rom, with my theme all happily integrated.
I have themed only what comes default in the rom. I have not added any extra apps or tweaked anything. It really is the stock rom turned really blue.
Proprietary Notes:
I have themed only what comes default in source. I have not themed any proprietary applications. If there is an app that you would like themed, please point me to the source repo, and I will see what I can do about making an addon containing it.
32A / EBI1 Notes:
bcrook maintains 32A / EBI1 kernels.
Download the correct kernel from here
The kernels are bs-version-ebi1-signed.zip
Downloads:
You can download the themes here.
**More coming soon**

Source Code:
The github for my original kitchen is here
The github for my overlay is here
The github for Theme Defaults is here
CyanogenMod's github is here

Install process:
This theme is the standard cyanogenmod rom with my theme added in. Install it like you would cyanogenmod rom. For more details on installing the cyanogenmod roms, please refer to the versions thread on either XDA or CyanogenMod.
Download, boot into recovery, MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP, install theme, reboot. Remember. MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP.
After the phone is booted, and you have a working desktop, be sure to run the "Theme Defaults" program in your launcher. This will set all of the default colors and reboot your phone.
My theme is tested several times before I upload. It is stable on all counts as far as I can tell. Any problems, let me know. That being said

It looks cool!!
Good luck with it!
Just curious if you are optimizing the images and zipaligning the apk's? I really like the looks of the theme. I have been theming every update with a blue theme of my own. I am downloading it now to give it a test drive. Looks like a keeper though. Really nice work.
Edit: Took a look at your kitchen git....I see that you have a pngcrush script.
All apk's are zipaligned.
All of the png files are run through pngcrush before compiling the rom. I use pngcrush since it results in the smallest filesize while keeping high quality.
Remember, this is the full cyanogenmod rom. My theme is added as an overlay and compiled from source.

I really love this setup, and the theme looks awesome. My only change would be to get the green out of the dialer.

I'm not really sure. I don't have much experience with this form of android yet. I've just started studying how it works and seeing if I can theme this. Maybe someone with a bit more experience with haret can answer that.
Ok tnx! I hope it is possible!
we should be able to boot this using ext2 method...i'm installing ubuntu and i'll try...if i won't have problems i will share here

Also, updated the Droid version to 5.0.8-test1
Looks amazing. Can't wait until the 2.2 version is out so I can finally load it.
Updated for 5.0.8-N1-test5
Also fixed a few icons I missed in test4
Updated to theme version 0.0.10 for the DS and DROID versions. Icon fixes only.
N1 was already released with updated theme version.

It will work on any of the phones the default Cyanogenmod Rom will work on. I believe the rom works on the GSM Hero.

Info:
SystemForce is based on the artwork by Homeryulo. I love the iconset and wallpapers so I had originally created this to customize my own G1. I started adding more and more and this is the latest instance of my work. This is a HIGHLY customized theme which was in the Theme competition here at XDA once upon a time. Since then it has gone through endless revisions and updated to SystemForce2 and now SystemForce3 with over 1000+ images edited. There are ports to other rom's linked in the second post if you want to risk it.

How do I read the funky new battery meter?
-Green = Good
-Light Green = Meh
-Yellow = Where's my charger?
-Orange = GET OUTA MY WAY I NEED TO CHARGE THIS
-Red = End of the world as we know it.
or like so:
How do I install the extra icons?
-Simply unzip the extras zip file somewhere on your sdcard, use an app such as 'bettercut' to set your icons manually. I will be changing some of the system icons to ones I like, so you can use this to change it as well.
How do I use the extra wallpapers?
-I do include the default main wallpaper in the wallpapers gallery but also offer 3 extras in the extra .zip file I included above. To use this put them in /wallpapers/ folder of your sdcard and use an app like 'wallpaper set & save' to set as wallpaper. Or just use android gallery and install from anywhere on your sdcard.
What if I want this theme for other roms?
-Some great people in this thread have helped porting over some of the theme for other roms: (older versions-only try at your own risk!!)
--JACxROM-1.3r3: SystemForce3.0.2
--JACxROM-1.3r3: SystemForce3.0.2.1
--JACxROM-1.4r3: SystemForce3.0.4.6
--JACxROM-1.5r4: SystemForce3(v1.0)
SystemForce3.0.4 for:
--JFv1.5CRB43-US.zip
--TheOfficialCRC1-US..zip
--TheOfficialCRC37-EU.zip
--TheOfficialCRC1-ADP.zip
What if I want this theme for Cyanogen's Experimental roms?
Since the whole google/cyanogen fiasco I realized this may be the last experimental rom for a while so I went ahead and ported the theme for it.
-SystemForce3-(v1.0e) (runs on CM 4.0.4 - uploaded September 26, 2009)
I don't like the GOLD color scheme, do you have it in other colors?
-Simple answer: No. Long answer: The original artwork is mostly in the gold color you see most of the images based on. If someone wants to go through all the images and change them to different colors, by all means feel free to do so and I will link them here. Flash these only at your own risk, I can't take responsibility for things others have made
Current available colors:
SystemForce3.0.4.4 in BLUE: Download from snyper2k2
-Works in CM 4.0.4
-Haven't personally tested it, just signed and uploaded.

I tested this on CM 4.0.1 extensively. Its perfectly safe if you have the proper rom. After the initial install, it may stay on G1 screen for a minute or two, just give it time and it should get to the animated boot screen after that.

Thanks! Going to continue making newer themes too hopefully once this thing is out of the way. I'm itching to make more now that I got the hang of themes again. Next on the list of to do's are of course the widgets. Since those are .9.png files and I've been off my main computer for a while, I'll have to work on them when I can. I don't use htc music either, so everything themed will probably be the stock stuff.
Thanks for providing the advance launcher for others as well, I stopped using it when Cyan dropped it. I had cut down to 3 screens anyway and I didn't use folders.
Great looking theme. Runs smooth and haven't notice any slowdowns that I have noticed with some other themes.
I flashed the theme no problem but I cant flash the extra pack. any suggestions?
kinda of a noob question...but can some1 tell me how to install the extras on ma fone?
Excellent job....thanks
Excellent theme. You and MOONSPOON are changing the game (at least when gchrome is released).
It's also the first theme I flashed on 4.0.1 with no force closes (probably just my luck).
I think any personal request were previously addressed, so I'll just say can more of the icons be built in?
As far as the install question, you need WinRAR to open the file to changes the drawables and such, then you can replace the icons with the ones in the extras folder.
Going to try Advanced Launcher now. Thank you for posting that, I was just about to theme it as I read this.

There should be not a single force close issues as long as you're loading it on proper CM Rom. Believe me I made sure I tested it way too many times before I release any of my themes.
As far as other icons: yes more of them will be built in as they were in the rc33 version of this theme.
To use the extras: Do not flash it as an update.zip, its simply a zip file with an icons folder and a wallpapers folder.
The icons you can use if you have bettercut/anycut to manually change your system icons to match.
The wallpapers you can drop them in your sdcard and use it with the theme as any wallpaper. I suggest you download 'wallpaper set & save' from market, put them in /wallpapers/ folder and use the app to set it to get a non pixelated wallpaper.
I've added the frequent questions to post #2, people who have trouble with the extras zip file, check that.

Damn good to see two devs working so well together
Good to see the new thread also!
Now all I need is the search bar to look as sexy as the rest of this theme with ghosted google wording and ghosted search bar (@froggy heard you were the png god)
Oohhh and the lockscreen for SuperD also
Fantastic work fella's.
New CM dropped. Looks like it's time for 0.6.9. Or maybe just v1, since there's no longer any reason to # this theme as if it were in beta. This sucker is probably more polished than any other theme out there.
WOW, this is a nice theme, looks wonderful. Thanks a lot. first time trying a theme.
I did not find instructions on how to install, so I just put the zip file in the Sdcard and flashed it using AmonRecovery image.
(for those who are new too)
any other way to apply these kind of themes?
Also, it's good it didn't overwrite my DroidSansFallback.ttf font file, cause I added thai font in there.
Thanks again, I love this theme.

After i developed the tablet tweaks, a lot of people started modifying framework and systemui to exchange the buttons instead of doing it with a theme. the way they were going just was bad by design. no fixes are included except those people repeat their work with every new nightly build. thats the reason we use theme engine by now. it works for all devices and all versions.
my initial complaints about modifying those files and my suggestion to use a theme were ignored - so i came to the point to do it myself.
all i did was adding honeycomb icons for the soft buttons to the already existing honeybread v4 theme. as soon as there is a new honeybread theme, i hope it features the new buttons - at least i asked for that on the honeybread issue tracker.
get the modified theme here - it will show up with no preview by the name @string/theme_name in front of all your themes - i cannot help that bad behavior by now:

Nice work murdock, and you're right the theme engine is A LOT better than changing each new systemUI. I've been planning on adding similar 3.0 soft buttons to my upcoming honeycomb theme chooser apk and have already gone pretty deep with changes to the status bar, power widget, settings icons etc., but I'm having trouble getting the 3.0 lockscreen and other things like my homescreen/app menu icons to show without supplying an additional zip file (which means ill either have to make a version for each rom, or a metamorph file that makes the apk kinda pointless when I could just add everything to the zip). Do you know if the theme engine is capable of adding the lockscreen or non-stock apps? I haven't been able to find very much out there yet about incorporating additional xml files to the apk, but if you could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it

Morsed by hitting a plastic pipe with my Desire HD. Excuse typos.
Thanks, it looks great, however there are a couple of small problems I'm not sure if it should go into the honeybread issue tracker or here or if they are just caused by something I did wrong.
Quoted from the Tablet Tweak post since I'm having pretty much the same problems (looked a few pages down and no solution seems to have showed up, sorry if I missed it)

Ok, I figured out my issue -- honeybread theme doesn't play nice with the latest build. At least for me. It was causing widgets to fail at startup and my SDcard wouldn't mount unless triggered by something accessing it -- e.g. me opening file manager.
Restored a backup w/out honeybread - Flashed newest build - Rebooted 5 times -
No issues.
Installed honeybread apk - Rebooted a couple times -
No issues.
Applied honeybread theme - Rebooted - Widgets failed to load - SDcard doesn't mount unless triggered - Rebooted a few times -
Same behavior.
Applied default theme - Rebooted a few times
All is well.
Sorry, I know this isn't relevant to the mod, but I know a few people in here were starting to use honeybread, so I thought I'd report what I found.
Now I can start actually playing around with this build.

Just to add that the widgets do load eventually, but it's quite a long wait, and seems to happen after the SD card trigger.
Not a big problem since the only time I reboot is after flashing something in CWM anyway. Just wondering if this happens to everyone or just me.

Looks really nice other than the opaque black dock. Is there not any way to with Honeybread to have a translucent dock? Perhaps the answer is to disable the dock with this theme, but I still like to have one with my four most used apps (browser, email, gmail, and calendar).
Just loaded it on my G Tablet running CM7. Looks awesome. Thanks for your work on this.

with the t-mob theme engine, you can replace any graphic or xml file (animations, strings) below the res/ directory of each app. doesnt matter if its installed or could be installed. about the lockscreen - well - forget about it needs changed code to work like the hc lockscreen. no way to do this via themes. the lockscreen icons themself can of course be changed as you like..
download the sources i posted in first post and take a look into it - should be pretty much self explanatory

honeybread issue tracker! i dont wanna get involved into this theme at all. i just added the soft buttons to stop people modifying the .apk files with winzip - which is really really bad...
Excuse my ignorance but I'm new to Nook and CM7, I downloaded the theme for the installation am I suppose to install via CWM > "install zip from sdcard" which fails "aborted" or am I suppose to drop it in a folder and change it using ADWLauncher?
Great

How did you install it when I try to install it on my Nook from CWM I get the dreaded "ABORTED"
Roger
It's an apk so just copy it to sdcard and run it
The only problem i have with this, is that i only want the buttons. I am using a "Sense" theme that i love, and the buttons work great. If there was a way to have two different themes going, that would be nice (make the button one theme, and allow users to pick honeybread or something else)...

Thanks for the quick reply when I downloaded the file it was a .zip file renaming it to .apk enabled me to install it without errors but it does not show up under "Settings > ADWLauncher > Theme Preferences > Select your theme" any ideas? I rebooted and its still not listed.
Install Instructions
Download the Honeybread.apk
Install the APK
Open the Theme Chooser app
Select the Honybread Theme
After it applies reboot
Enjoy!
Thanks I was trying to use ADWLaucncher not Theme chooser to set the theme it worked, like I said I'm new to CM7 but with help from the community I'm learning.

Wow. Does no one read directions anymore?
Install the apk.
YOU MUST USE THEME CHOOSER
scroll all the way to the left. There won't be a pic, but a string. From mad (IN THE ORIGINAL POST)
"it will show up with no preview by the name @string/theme_name in front of all your themes"
Reboot.
Hey mad, you're pretty good at this whole android thing.
Just a tinsy tiny bug. The sliders in the gui have a slight offset line next to the slider button. No biggie, could just be my 190 dpi.
I'll change and report back if anything changes.

Wipe EVERYTHING before installing, or you WILL have problems.
Give the ROM time to run, before judging it. It will be slow to start, but speed will increase as things settle in. Wont take long, maybe a few minutes!
As for the Market, you need to sign into your Google account FIRST, and then the icon will appear.

Wondering the same thing. Has anyone tried this rom?
I'm an Evo user, rooted of course, with a nob question. Got a hold of a droid x, rooted it and want to flash this rom. Nob question. Can I boot int recover via rom mgr and flash or do I need to use boot straps to do this? I'm not well versed in cwm as I use RA for my evo. Thanks in advance, and take it easy on me please.
Also Can2t install
I just fresh sbf'ed back to 0.602. When I try to install I get Error 7 from clockwork....anyone else having this problem? Do i need to flash 2int recovery to install?-AT

besides wiping dalvik if I do, will I need to format system as well by any chance?
Thanks for this awesome rom. Miui got boring after a while. I've been using it since it was released for us Droid x users.
Thanks for nice work but I have a question, what about the camera as I test in CM7 is too bad ? did you solve it in your ROM?

Wifi Issues
IS anyone else experiencing WIFI issues with this ROM? Sometimes I cannot get it to connect; then if I reset the phone a bunch of times it eventually connects....I wiped everything and reflashed twice; still having the issue.
Anyone else experiencing this?

What works:
- Everything that works in tejasdj12's CM7 Build Three
What doesn't:
- ???
Why it's different than other MIUIs:
All MIUI ROMs available on any device contain hdpi graphics while our phone has mdpi ones. Before our phone had to resize graphics to mdpi in real time causing stuttering and lack of ram. Now it's over. I've managed to resize thousands of png and .9.png to mdpi resolution, which means that MIUI is running flawlessly on our poor device. First boot may not be as fast as it should be, but after setting everything up in CM Settings and all other stuff and reboot it works much much better than other MIUI ROMs available.
I want to port it to my device. What should i do?
Port as usual and add my paypal donation email and notice about who resized all of those graphics (me) to your topic. Also add a link to this topic and send me PM so i could include it here in section "Other devices".
Note:
I do not give you permission to make any softmods or your own version of my ROM on GT540.
Download
MDPI Lockscreens
Themes fix:
Code:
Create data/system/theme folder to make themes work
Rom i've ported and resized
Resources to Port
Code:
1. Download resources and find working CM7 rom for your device
2. Open up a rom zip and remove: app, fonts, framework and media
3. Copy over package content to your system and flash it.
4. Boot it up and see if it works.
Other Devices:
HTC Wildfire S
Orange Boston
Samsung Galaxy Ace
Samsung Galaxy Gio
LG Optimus V
I'm not responsible for stuff found on other devices section of this topic. Those aren't only xda links, but some other i've recieved from devs. Use at your own risk, if you'll brick your device with someone else's stuff, then it's not my fault.
Have fun
Is the images from the rom? it seems that the launcher has some graphic bug? folder icon is to big and page indicator is a little bit lower than normal? Did you fix status bar issue when apply theme with transparent status bar?
Launcher is a bit messed up (don't use folders and you'll live with it), i didn't check themes. It wasn't a goal for ROM. Goal was to port all the apps to mdpi resolution and it's done.
can some one give me a link for a good porting guide
Wont be surprised if some one kangs this...
Well, one of two frameworks still needs resizing, so i don't think it's a good idea.. Still work in progress though. I don't know how to recompile working framework-miui-res ;-)
Great work, downloading now.

maybe this might help ?
http://miuiandroid.com/community/threads/recompiling-miui-apks.16082/
Did what was said in there, and i've got apk to recompile. but after replacing ROM goes into bootloop
http://pastebin.com/JMxy7YWN
Maybe somebody with better experience can take a look.
Try to compilate new framework-miui-res, extract it, then extract orginal framework-miui-res i some folder and copy moded staff from new framework-miui-res over old one. You need to copy resources.arsc to. After that selec all files from folder, add to arhive with 7zip, compresion store, format zip. Now just replace extension to apk and try to flash. It should work.
So rom is zipalignig on boot? So i guess you already tried without tweaks and mods?
Not a single FC yet. (Just when it loads system for the first time)
IT runs flawless in my phone, it's really awesome, great job (despite the bugs with the statusbar and the widgets)
I got just 1 question, if I install my applications like Gmail, Maps, etc- The icons will be MDPI or HDPI?
bataya, that's the way i was doing those apps all the time.
-Grift-, yes. I said it's using LAGBUSTER script for MIUI. Found on MIUIPOLSKA forums.
Ziore, phone is using mdpi by default and google apps have mdpi graphics. It should use mdpi.
@Edit: Miui framework is a real pain in the ass.. I was trying to make working mdpi version for a few hours and still no results... It's compiling without errors, but it causes bootloop. Today i've managed to do a "temp-fix" for statusbar. It's black for now..
Update.
01.07.12:
- Changed statusbar bg to black (tempopary)
- Resized media/theme/default (default MIUI theme)

Install using recovery. Theme needs testing though.. There was so many files to mess with that i don't know if i made a mistake somewhere. If everything will be fine, it'll get into next ROM release
Can I move to this rom from Tejas build three w/o formatting my datas? Thanks
