well there isnt really other so xD

The Espresso Sense one on MoDaCo is the best by far. Extremely fast, very good signal and not bogged up with ****e apps

But the espresso have the Sense?
I have the 1.31.XXX legend
If I root whit the r4 it's possible to flash this ROM?

Yeah it has the new version of sense, which looks very nice, better than stock imo.
And yes just copy to SD and flash

But ther isn't the italian language!

I don't find this rom on Modaco ? Espresso Sense legend htc MoDaCo ? can you the link ? thx

I found this to be the best rooted rom.

I have used stock, rodriguez style 2.3 and one of modacos. I must say every single detail is more satisfactory with the one linked above.
-Less bloat (like stock)
-Newest and better (?) radio
-Stable and fast
-Far more memory left after install. I have around 100 mb left AFTER installing all the programs and ****e i like to have, whereas the rodriguezstyle had 120-something after fresh install and around 40-60 after installing everything.
-Google maps pinch zoom

preety good

What is the best rom Now?

I used now Eclair and is good but i need change.
I need stable, fast and good Rom.
What can u do "offer"?
Try different ROM's and decide for yourself
i have tried just about every ROM on this forum and I always go back to HTCDevil's "fast and light ROM v2.0.
it is fast, light and stable. i would like to switch to one of the "froyo hacked" ROMs, but i need my video recorder ans more stability than the 2 i have tried provide for now (motofrenzy and bastardized).

Anything eclair based if you want stable, Personally I've had no massive issues with Bastardized and having Froyo is nice anyway. Sense ROMs are a bit slower due to the lack of RAM/Swap but still usable but not as a daily driver
im using cyanogenmod 6 from kabaldan, everything works fine and its really stable
I would try "CyanogenMod" works really great.
But more battery consumption.
App2sd @ FAT32 is awesome
fg
i instaled cyan and i have many fc ;/
On fast and light rom fast consumtion battery.
And i return too EclairMod.

motofrenzy is fastest rom for now. i can recommend it because motofrenzy is from official source..

Telus Lite V4.1
CM 6 stopped all reboot issues from official Motocrap ROM for me.
I have a Milestone in Argentina and i flashed it with Telus 3.11 which in my opinion is for now the best stable ROM. You have to manual install the 3D Gallery as it does not come wit this ROM.
From Telus you can choose to flash CM6 (i think) which in my opinion is still buggy and lot of user report problems with that or this.
Other possibility is than Telus Light 4.x or the upcoming 5.x, but includes heavy overclock.
I my self stay with Telus 3.11, de installed all the system/app crap, some boot manipulations, root, and a own theme based on Buggless Evolution. I am happy with it. No overlock, etc. as i am not a guy who plays a lot of cpu intensive games.
Perhaps i am going to improving the java engine.
Resume: Flash Telus 3.11 and from there you go.
I'm happy with eclair v3a for now. Battery life and lack of viable camera keep me away from the Froyo roms. In my opinion regardless of what else might be packed inside, the eclair rom has some crap cleaned out of it, has superuser and overclocking and a some other bells or whistles and it all works.
Good enough for me till someone cracks the kernal or we get a real milestone froyo.
Regards, PK
P.S. I've heard this lament for other roms, why does ADW or power launcher seem jerky at higher clock speeds?
xslntx's telus lite rom v4 is amazingly fast and stable. A hybrid rom based on euro and telus. Governed over/under clocking so battery life is good, but power is there when needed. V5 is coming out which promises to speed things up even more.

at least majority of the framework + libs are original droid libs, and is as official as it can get..
but i guess camera was always an issue, but this is soon past tence, when we get a good kernel, i might just fix a final motofrenzy before it gets officially released, as cm6 is not official, but is based on custom compiles based off android opensource.
In my opinion, the best ROM nowadays is the Eclair-based EclairMOD v3B by 89luca89. Fast and stable, never a reboot! Froyo based ROMs are faster just running benchmarks, in everyday use I think Eclair is still a step forward..

Eclair is actually a step backwards... i am fortunate to have tested a 2.1 on Galaxy S which really shows why you would chose froyo compared to a 2.1 rom.
Imagine opening 5 different apps, having 2 flash videos running in different windows and a game as well..
handling is so much so faster which is memory + froyo handling on top.
secondly for milestone, you get the option to move apps (non-rooted) to a sdcard, which is thanks to froyo too...
with all the extra froyo adds in already existing semi-2.2 roms, you simply meant patience is gold, but for some, that is already found.. i have been very happy with milestone running motofrenzy and motosense , and note: no reboots!!
but lacks camera, but i could care less, as ms camera is not worth much anyways...
with the early release of froyo 2.2 kernel, im sure you will upgrade very soon...
either official or to a custom cmX rom.
Froyo is surely much better as specs, but for everyday use, 2.2 ROMs have more disavantages than avantages, starting from the camera, battery life, mobile overheating, random reboot.. I'm speaking on my personal experience, maybe I was just unlucky!
Overall speed is true, is better on Froyo, but overall I still prefer Eclair. I've tried all 2.2 roms here and no one works absolutely fine on my Milestone, as better roms will come out, I'll surely upgrade to 2.2.. but now, Eclair for me!
=)

TelusLite v4.1 is the absolute fastest of them all... I realize i have over-clocks with some other modifications to the memory/kernel, but TL4.1 screamed past them all with EclairMod in second place followed by HoNo

[Poll]Which ROM is the best that you've ever used in HTC Buzz: Wildfire?
My first customize rom was puzzlerom but this rom is very bugged, the kernel isnt working good and had a loot of freezes. Now I use cyanogen mod 6.1 and I' m very happy. This is great rom with updates. Cyanogen's rooms are the best because I have wildfire, my frend have G1 and we both using cyanogen rooms. I never using openfire and I cant say anything abaut this... Imho Wildpuzzle 2.1 1.0.1 and Openfire 2.3.

there is..... NO SUCH THING as the best of anything. EVER. There is a Majority, and a minority, AND in between, BUT there is NEVER EVER a case for the best of anything. We ALL have different needs and tastes.
Want to Know MY favorite rom? Stock. Its runs near flawless, EVERYTHING works and there are no major bugs.
Want to Know ^^Kevins^^, CyanogenMOD.
Neither of us are right or wrong, it just so happens that our needs are fufilled by that particular rom.
Flash EACH ONE, play around with it for a few days and then try the next and you will find one that just 'feels right' for you.

they shouldnt do it with the chinish version
The best rom i tryed when i used my wildfire was handsdown Openfire.
Fast as hell stable and smooth.
if you ever have force closes you only have to run "fix permissions" in rom manager + reboot.
Meh cyanogenmod, wins alot of votes only by the name.
VillainROM for Wildfire!
Openfire 2.3 combined with SetCpu, cant get any faster than that

What charging issue?
Well, to be honest, i went back to stock rom, just using another kernel that's rooted, and gives me oc capabilities.
I did it because even tho the devs are doing a great job on these custom roms, they are still flawed, some minor bugs here and there, but it adds up, and i can't just fix the issues my self, maybe some can, but i can't.
I've tried WildPuzzleROM 2.2 Froyo v8.0.11 & CyanogenMod 6.1.0 RC2
i liked wildpuzzle best.
My vote goes for stock Rom , then comes OPENFIRE fastest and stable too

[Q] Question on ROM

Hi there !
I got my first Android (HTC WildFire) so can imagine I'm noob to these. I rooted the phone everything works fine now. I tried the CyanogenMod 6.1.0 (Stable) for HTC Buzz it works great but the main problem is the Location services is not detecting my location(India). GPS was enabled. Then the next problem was HTC take atleast 5 - 6 mins to reboot everytime. The Live Wallpapers just says it's loading and I left there for 30 mins still no improvement. So went restore the backup before i installed the ROM. So I wanted to know is there a way to fix this so i can use CyanogenMod If not then could you suggest me a ROM that has HTC Sense in it. I really like the features.
Thanks in advance,
Shyam
If u want sense... stock 2.1, wildpuzzle 2.1 (more performance than stock but more bugs) or modaco's 2.2 are the way imo.
As far as non-sense roms none do it for me, I guess I'm a sense whore lol
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
Thanks Mate ! In your opinion which is good ROM without HTC Sense ?
I had a hero before wildfire and it was always between cyanogen and vanillainRom. I learnt then that I really love sense so since getting my wildfire I've stayed with sense based roms so I can't really say. Just nandroid and try I guess
even the most talented devs were noobs once... so there's hope for the rest of us!
openfire v2.3 has worked well for me, although im also looking for a 2.2 rom with sense that actually works

Recomended Rom+Radio

Hi,
I am a new owner of a Nexus One, and I would like to install a new rom in it. Which one do you recomend?
Thnaks.
As enomther is gone (havn't read all the posts lately on his thread) I'm on cyanogen 7 RC4 currently (since 2 days) and I'm really pleased for now. Nothing that bad happened and I got most of the features I liked from enomthers rom. I'm not sure if it's right but it seems to me that cyanogen is currently the way to go (at least for me).
Maybe this thread isn't located right here, has nothing development related, general would be much better I think.
try this one http://www.evervolv.com/
great rom, fast, stable, works great for a day use without wonk
you can flash with it darktremor beta 4 and a new kernel from inetersecraven
Reading is your friend. And as far as time go try them till you find one you like. Simple.
Also wrong section. Should be in general. This has nothing to do with development.

The thread of MM is VERY confusing! Which is the neweset version, the 1.7 final or the 2.14? Is it based on desire or desireHD? Is it possible to get the stock look of htc sense? Is that ROM smoother than MoDaCos original desire port?
Stock ?
No-one prepared to stick up for stock Gingerbread ?
I am, was on custom ROMs all of last year but now dropped onto stock 2.3.3 & enjoying the speed, stability and features. You can always add themes and apps to change it around.
I am struggling with the Radio - it takes a long time to pick up the GPS signal, need to look for a Radio fix somewhere.

For Desire HD port, the v1.7 is Final and you can flash just that.
For the earlier Desire port (non-HD), the v2.16 is the final version.
Flashing either one will give you the stock look of HTC Sense by default (except for the 3G and battery icons) when you first boot into the ROM. The theme and skin is basically changeable, so you have choices of stock look or another theme/skin.
Yes, I have tried MoDaCos and ALL the other ROMs and have compared them for almost 1 week non-stop. The smoothness of Desire ported ROM cannot be beat. It may not be the fastest ROM, but it's very smooth and stable (and you get the beautiful HTC feel). One main thing I like about HTC Sense UI is that it's got many useful phone functions when you use it as a phone on a daily basis. Let's face it, the best smartphone should also act like the best phone. I am currently on MM Desire HD v1.7, and if you want the stock 3G & battery icons back, there is a guy that posted a modified framework-res.apk that can be flashed to get the stock icons back. Everything works in the ROM except for HTC Locations which I just cannot get to work. Built-in WiFi Hotspot does not work, but there is Wireless Tethering included in v1.7 which will provide you the same function. Also, make sure you flash 5.12 radio for the best signal performance.
Good luck!
So... you made me curious
So the Desire Port (2.16) is smoother than MoDaCos ROM and the desire HD port (1.7) is even smoother than the desire port (2.16)?
Do one have to create an ext-partition o sd-card?
The only thing that bothers me is that HTC Locations does not work

Nik Trinity 2.5 vs. Android Rev HD 2.1.2

Hi Guys, which ROM you would go with, Nik Trinity or Android Revolution HD and why?
nik's rom is sense 3.5 with numerous customizations. mike's rom is sense 3.0 with little customizations (his goal is to keep the rom feeling as close to stock as possible).
I think it comes down to preference, really.
Thanks SYC, do you know if ORBOT works on Revolution, it is not working for me.
For the latest looks, nik's trinity rom. With the fast and stable, mike's arhd
Hope this helps.

Anyone here tried Virtuous Affinity?? I know its not in development temporarily, but its a smooth sense 3.5 experience. It is said to be faster than trinity because of less tweaks
Nik Trinity 2.5
+ Tron theme looks great!
+ Data connection speed is awesome.
+ many good tweaks -> thx to RCTweaks.
+ Sloppy auto brightness (RCTweaks)
+ Stable
- No HSDPA, only 3G almost everytime. But it not affect data speed at all.
- Battery life is better than stock rom, but not so great that HD 2.1.2 have.
Android Revolution HD 2.1.2
+ Great battery life.
+ Fast
+ Stable
- O/C values bug.
- Slower data speed than Nik's rom.
- No tweaks...can't get rid of that "unlock carousel"
- No sloppy's.
Now i'm using HD 2.1.2 with cooked battery percentage.
Nik's Rom has great battery life,it last about 1,5 days with normal usage (phone call, sms, web and play some game),for me that's enough
I'm using Lord's Kernel,smartassv2 gov with min 122 max 1228.
trinity
i been using trinity for my inc s the first versions had some bugs but it's deffinetly a great rom and it keeps getting better
nik is awesome..but
