Best ROM for manila 2.5

Hi need some advice - and yes have searched the forums but there is so much different advice and opinions and it is all over the place and some bit hard to understand points that I just want a "simple" answer...

Lol, no try a couple and see what you think, read the first few posts on the thread to see what it's about and the last few in the thread to find out about the opinions of the users. Can't be more simple than that Good luck.

Start trying with the ones with more hits. leave the newer ones for the end.

There are several ROM's overhere.
I was also searching trying and looking for the best and fastest with 2.5.
If you want the looks and customization of manilla than you have to try this:
- Leo Energyrom (including MaxManilla for manilla customization)
- Xannytech Grid Evolution
For a stable rom with manilla 2.5 try this:
- Balaji WM 6.5 23540
- Mikenificent 8.0 (This is a Dutch rom)
- *** MARYONE ***
- BlackDragon 2.1.1 Speed King (Fast rom but without the fingerfriendly buttons on the bottom)
Manilla 2.1 roms (your HD will be faster)
- blackSTONEhenge™
- ★ Energy "Phoenix 2" (This one has also very nice looks )
- [Park's ROM][Sense 2.1/2.5] This one has both

ive found kwbr's topix 3.5.5 to be pretty fast

whichever roms u try... the ones with sense 2.5 and No Htc messenging will perform better as the htc messenging really slows down our hd.... btw give a try to miniterrors ravage V4.1 for me currently thts the best rom.. without htc messenging version of course =)

i tried 5 diferent rooms and finally i found miri without htc messaging it is the best for me , during last 3 weeks only one problem with restart and the rest is working perfectly ( even if we are speaking about shi... windows)

Opinionated threads like yours are generally closed as they are frowned upon in XDA do to everyone having different tastes and opinions thus creating endless long threads.
You have already been told a number of roms to try which should help you, but my advice would be to try a few and see what you like/dislike then try other roms which have the things you like so you can make your own opinion on which is best manila 2.5 rom for you

Friend! What you are looking for was developed by @Jackos
Its called Jackos WM6.1 21048 Hybrid Sense 2.1
You will need to request him to post it for you to download. It has few minor bugs (but one can do with it). Try it, I think you will like it - Its fast and pretty stable too.
tried it...in fact used it.... and of course loved it too.... But I personally prefer the SPB Mobile Shell interface a bit over Sense. Only eye candy in the Sense interface is the weather animation, which i have learned to live without.

Request for a WM 6.5 with 2.1 manila

Anyone know if one exists?
I find that running 2.1 is much smoother and just tends to run better than 2.5. 2.5 just runs a little slow for my tastes considering it's meant for 1Ghz instead of our measly 500Mhz.
Would appreciate it. I know we have a 6.1 with 2.1 but I like the start menu on 6.5. Or if someone could link me to a ROM of a pure upgrade to 6.5 and then a cab for 2.1 that'd be good too. I would like a 6.5 build that's up to date if at all possible. Thanks for the help

There you can choose.

hello, i want to know if the maxsense ui rom is availible. the one thats looks android style with the widgets. i have a tilt 2 with olinex hard spl on it with a stock rom on it. thxs

I found myself missing the Sense slider, and I thought it was awkward how the home screen had a different taskbar/icons from every other screen. I ended up moving back to the CHT version, and more recently CHT 2.0.

i see a link for cdma phones and one for hd2 i dont see it for tp2 or tilt 2

Check out the EnergyROM thread in this forum, you'll find links to NRGs MaxSense ROMs there. Though if you look at the latest Cookie Home Tab 2.0.0 (currently in beta), you'll find it's now got lots of Android-like features.
