Cannot Flash T5355

does anyone know if the touch diamond 2 t5355, a clone can be Hardspl and flashed? help please.

Nobody helps you,because T5355 definitely NOT product of HTC - HTC TOPAZ /aka Diamond 2/ has F/N T5353 /and DOPOD version is T5388/. ALL others are chinesse fake's.!

Unfortunately, these "White Label" devices are made with components from other sources and are incompatible. Aesthetically they may look similar, but the internal parts differ greatly.

I have the English WM6.5 for chinese T5355.
If it is necessary, ask me.

how true is this?
i called HTC last night with the S/N of my T5355 and they said it was a genuine HTC phone made for Orange in france.

I found several t5355 6.5rom's
In Chinese forums, since my knowledge in chinese is limited to none
I used google translate.
but I cannt manage to download the actual file due to problem with the registraion in the forums.
If you like you can give it a shot just write "t5355 6.5rom" in google and open the link with google translate.

after update with new rom, i found that my t5355 totally die.. maybe the rom is not match.. is there any solution?? really need help guys... thanks a lot before.

I bought a T5355 quite recently, and it is not working, it says NO SERVICE. I do not know the problem is with IMEI or something else. Can anyone help me in this regard. Do i need to unlock this phone. Please help me out.
Also is it possible to flash any TOPAZ Rom on this device ? If yes then can someone please write the steps for that.
Early help will be highly appreciated.

I search everywhere but , the 6.5 manila EN is not realesed.
It sucks!
I have rebuild version of 6.5 in EN.
It is without manila-touchflo.
Seller of t5355 sent me.
They oficially flashing new t5355 with this ROM.
I didnt like this version cause its without manila-touchflo
I made upload if somebody will be happy for it
I cant post the link cause Im not verified by moderators.

flashing phone t5355 from start
my phone seemed to have some problems now it just gos to the touchdiamond2 screen and stops. how do I flash from the sd card. it does not see it on computer .if i press hang up and back and power it gos to a calibrating screen and if i press hangup phone button and power on it gos to download screen.

how to flash?
i get my t5355 blank screen after "touch diamond2" coz i'd restart after uninstall BBconnect

stop asking for help here, because your phone is NOT an HTC product. do u understand this?
FAKE product... 96% of all the ROMs out there wont work...

hello,
format your sd card in fat
put in there a rom.bin
rename rom to k3img.bin and run boot loader its a button combination

[Q] Downupgrade from 6.5 to 6.1 in X1 Issue

Dear Pro,
Kindly, I would like to inform you that I have X1 and I want to upgrade the ROM from 6.1 to 6.5, but the issue that if I want to reture back to the official ROM of 6.1, so would someone to explain the steps, and I will be grateful to you.
One more thing do you adivse me to upgrade the ROM to 6.5 .. ?!!

Welcome and congrats on the X1,
before answering I would like to inform you that this has been asked I don't know how many times. I have difficulties with big numbers.
A little search and taking advantage of the stickied threads in this forum would have and will provide all required answers. Except for the advice on upgrade.
To use customized roms you have to h-spl your phone (olinex thread, including how to), then you can flash either using ruu or sd method (see biovolt and badwolve reference threads for tutorials and additional information). If you have to go back to stock for e.g. warranty reasons find your country/provider stock rom in badwolve reference thread (pavelx1) and the stock slp in olinex h-spl thread.
Updating is up to you. I personally like 6.5 but many complain about lack of speed, as X1 was never meant for this wm release. Give some roms a try and decide for yourself.

1. to revert for warranty reason,
Stock ROM, Stock SPL, Custom RUU
For tutorial and link, read this at point 4: http://ruslyfriend.blogspot.com/2010/09/concise-flashing-rom.html
2. I've read somewhere here, SD Method somewhat is safer to avoid your device from bricking. But RUU is more friendly for me.
3. Read the same tutorial above, I bookmarked the tutorial. It is real concise for beginners or XDA dummy like me.

I can feel how you feel to be newbie here. I'd been newbie too. But never give up.
1. There's a patch called "AudioPara". All you need to do is download the files and move them to \Windows directory or you can install equalizer; HTC audiobooster, but it's not working on speaker.
2. You can have it if you choose proper ROM. Since you're trying to revert to the stock ROM, you can choose the proper stock ROM. Language is inside the SYS which is inside the ROM.

You know that I feel my self is a noobie .. lol because I've just bought it since just 5 days, and at the time some people told me that don't buy X2 because it's has some problems and there's no arabic language then I the sony ecrisson company stoped selling the X2 because of these things and no one is buying this Mobile, so I said to my self to buy X1, and then I saw this site which talking about how to install MW v6.5 then I started like to know how we can do this move .. lol .. This is my story

AudioPara has been solved by MrBlack'd
About arabic language. forgive me, I was wrong. I finally found that Arab is not supported in WinMo. I dunno know if it's right to believe. But the other way I found that there's a software name "Multilanguage Support Version 3.0" for Wm6.1 that can change your X1's language including Arab.
Unfortunately the download link is obsolete so you need a little search.
For Wm6.5.5 (newest version and build) you can try XPURE ROM by Russell Eclair for X2 interface and 862x and Energy ROM for HTC interface. Choos you like.

I want to try to upgrade to 6.5 and i was at htc website but ther was not any update for my phone!!
So could you pls give a good dummi tutorial for upgrading it!! i have been serching but never found or not understanding what they mean with all code and stuff like it!!

What is the latest WM6.5 ROM on for X1?

im looking for the latest WM6.5 ROM for my X1 that is updated and stable...i went through a thread by "888" but he last said he wont provide supports for it anymore...so pls advice or supply with a link.

Anyway you should try it first.. see for yourself...
