Apologies if this has already been asked/answered but is there a way of listing all the apps on the phone that will install to SD rather than having to go through them one by one?

Hello one and all, please dont flame me for this post but my SD Card is bolloxed and i need to get all my apps onto a new one.
I have new a 8 GIG Class 6 to transfer to i have already partitioned with Ubuntu but i dont know how to copy my apps off the old card to the new
one and for those loaded apps on my phone to stay working.
I have used the search on this forum but there is so many different ones i have read i am now totally confused.
I did root my phone myself and put on a Cyanogen rom so i am fairly ok with
certain stuff but this has me proper confused is there just one one click method, i read something about "SwitchRom"
i dont want to lose all my apps but this is getting a bit desperate now
Thanks
Your apps are never lost even if you use a new sdcard and use Ubuntu to copy and paste the apps to the new card, you still have to reinstall alll the protected apps. So depending on how many apps you have installed , I would do a wipe and reinstall them all.
Or do a nandroid backup, don't forget you might have to run fix_permissions if you get any errors.
I ORDERED MY NOOK TODAY!!! So ive been stalking the nook dev forums for about a week and have some questions. i have a rooted hero running GB, but i used a one click root. I dont really know any ADB commands or how to use it, but i can do a bit of work in the terminal emulator, like flashing diffrent recoveries. ive also played around in the build.prop on the hero. But on the hero everything is just putting zips on the SD card and flashing them in recovery. Now with the nook ive gathered that there are 2 diffrent ways to run a ROM, one way is to "burn" a rom to the sd and it will boot from there. the other way is to flash it to the eMMc which is internal memory correct? my questions are
1)once i "burn" a rom to the sd can i use the internal storage to save apps? where do the apps save if im running a rom off the SD??
2) when you flash a rom to the emmc do you just drop the zip on the root of the sd and flash it through recovery like i would on the hero? or do i have to "burn" it to the SD then flash it from there?
3) i would assume when i want gapps on a rom running on emmc i can just put a gapps zip on the root of the sd and flash it through clockwork. but how do i get gapps if im running a rom off the sd card. this is my biggest concern!
Also we should keep up on the wiki, we have one for GB on the HeroC page and it ROCKS! its full of workarounds and tips and tricks and how to's, keeps the DEV threads from gitting clogged with questions like ^^^^^the 3 im asking
like i said i definatally looked around and did some searching on here and phandroid forums, this is just where im confused. If any one has answers for me i would really appreciate it. also links to really important workarounds would be great.
I absolutely love my N1 and wouldn't change it for anything else; if only I hadn't this disk space problem.
I have a N1, 2.3.6 GRK39F, rooted but with the original ROM. I have ROM Manager installed but I have not flashed any custom recovery yet. I used root right to uninstall few programs, for TB etc.
I have the APP2SD app from market which I used to move apps to SD card, but I still get the low space error and I can't move anything to SD anymore. This is really annoying me.
Can anybody tell me step by step, what I can do to resolve? Please take into consideration that I already moved my apps to SD using the APP2SD application.
Thanks a lot.
Please insert "A2SD" into search box, and go over the results.
Also, please read Nexus One FAQ, question 9. And while you're at it, use the link - it'll eventually bring you to the thread to read.
Hi guys
I've done a fair bit of searching but still cannot find the full and final answer to this question. I'm getting mixed answers which seem to be confusing me more and more.
I've installed Evervolv's 4.4.4 (non DM) on my TP and can install apps but only onto my internal storage. I believe KitKat doesn't allow you to install apps to external storage (i.e. Sd cards), however I believe the SD cardfix that you can download from the play store allows you to fix this.
I've installed it and ran it - which now says all is good but I still cannot seem to install apps to my sd card. I've got 6gb+ waiting to be used whereas I can only install a couple on my internal storage.
Any help would be great. If I need to install another ROM to get this functionality then please let me know which.
Thanks in advance
I am bewildered. Hope someone can help me with this issue.
Moving apps to SD card on Kitkat can only be accomplished on a rooted device, many posts say in these forums.
However, I am on a kitkat rooted device and I cannot move apps to SD card, by no means.
First off, in Settings-->Apps-->MyApp there isn't a "move to SD" button. Not for any of my +30 installed apps.
I have tried:
1.- Two different patches for this Kitkat problem (like SD Fix), but none of them work. They report that my device 'doesn't need to be fixed', or is already fixed, yet I can't move apps to my SD card. Indeed I can read/write, store pics, etc. But no apps can be moved to the card.
2.- App-manager applications (like Gemini), but they can't move my apps to SD card either. I get an error "no space left on card" (needless to say it's not true).
3.- Manual fix, successfully editing the famous platform.xml file. Yet, no apps can be moved to my SD card.
Question.- Am I doing something wrong, or rather I've wrongly understood that a rooted kitkat can accomplish moving apps to card?
Additional info: I was on Lollipop (23.4.A.1.200) and I've downgraded to Kitkat (23.1.A.1.28) in order to (successfully) root the device without unlocking. On Lollipop I didn't experience this issue.
Thank you in advance for any help.
N.B.- Before any moderator yells at me: I have done a lot of searching on these forums and I haven't found an identical problem like mine. But sorry if there is and I didn't see it.
