My wallpaper is dark when I'm on the lock screen and when I unlock it it brights up again. Is this a froyo feature? Because my dad just got an N1 on 2.1 and he doesn't have this problem.
I'm running froyo and my lockscreen wallpaper is a bit darker. I guess it's a feature. I like it.

Im running eugene's Eclair 2.1 rom that has the Hero theme. Working great, by the way
In that rom, the lockscreen and other elements of the theme is transparent. And the lockscreen wallpaper is available in the menu to change, but it doesnt get applied OR it is, it just stays transparent.
Im wondering if any kind soul know where the wallpaper reside after you change in and if anyone know how to disable the transparent effect only on the lockscreen wallpaper?
Thanks,
I've done some searching, but can't figure out how to get a transparent lockscreen on my Nonsense7.0 ROM.
Does anyone know how I can get a clear lock screen? When I turn my phone on I would like to be able to see my home screen instead of the lock screen. This way I can look at my beautiful widget weather as well as notifications on the LP dock without having to unlock my screen every time. I am running Nonsense 7.0.
There is a widget locker theme with the word Me and the wallpaper is supposed to say Unlock on a black background. Anyone know where this wallpaper is? I cant seem to find it anywhere.
I was using a 4.2.2 based ROM (paranoidandroid) in which I had a custom lockscreen wallpaper applied. It was displayed exactly as the gallery showed it. So far I have tried about 5 different 4.3 based ROMs and the lockscreen now dims the wallpaper, I'm assuming for readability purposes. My problem is that my wallpaper didn't bother readability and now looks too dark. I've tried multiple wallpapers and they all have some sort of dimming filter applied to them when applied to the lockscreen. IS there any way to reverse this?
I noticed this gray gradient on the homescreen and recents with a black wallpaper and it's just really awkward to look at once you notice it. It becomes REALLY apparent if I increased to brightness. Is this just something tied with the System UI? Changing the launcher doesn't do anything and opening up a black wallpaper doesn't show these gradients. Maybe I'm just nitpicking.
Happened to me as well and figured it is because I have Cf. Lumen installed.
I have the same issue. This is my third S6 Edge with same problem. Tried multiple fixes with no luck. Can't use any dark wallpapers, anyone know how to fix?
