You techically answered your own question.
The two that I know of is Beautiful Widgets and Weather Widget. There is also a free version.
Fancy widget is the best ive seen for free!
There's a metamorph though that can give you the sense analog too, in case you're interested.
And congrats on becoming a mod binary

Fancy Widgets is quite nice.
It's working well so far, the weather is generally a degree or two off of my local news forecast, but I think that's expected since it's probably using a much broader weather feed.
I do wish it wasn't 3+ MB though. Oh well, can't have everything.
Hi. Is there an apk file for the HTC clock widget? I'm about to switch to the cm ROM and I want the HTC clock widget. I prefer the flip clock(doesn't flip on aria though) with the weather. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

I don't know about a "flipping" one but Factory Widgets makes one very similar to the HTC clock. If you search for it in the market using the maker it is impossible to miss.

Yes, you will have to load a 3rd party widget because the HTC clock widget is dependent upon HTC Sense which CM 6/7 does not support.
I think the factory widget designs, even those aped from HTC, look horrible. I personally recommend fancy widgets and to a much lesser extent beautiful Widgets if you're looking for well made clock weather widgets.

Fancy widget definitely. I have an older version and its identical to the sense clock.

Fancy widget is one of the few apps I actually paid for. +1 for Fancy widget.
Fancy Widgets is great but I like the beautiful Widgets because you can choose many styles of the HTC clock to change it up a bit and rock your style.

Hi, I think Im ready to finally change my stock Sense 2.1 rom to another rom. Im looking at the Cyanogenmod site, however I dont see any HTC Hero CDMA stable mods on there, just nighly and release candidite roms. Can anyone point me to a stable cyanogen mod rom that is stable for day to day use?
Another question is I love my HTC caladar widget, and want to know if the Cyanogen roms have a good calendar with it? Similar to the HTC widget with agenda view.
Thanks
CM 6.2 is stable (FroYo 2.2). If you want Gingerbread, it's not gonna be stable.
As far as the calendar widget, I use Smooth Calendar from the market. It's an agenda-style list, but only 4x1, so it doesn't take up the entire screen like the sense agenda widget. It shows your next three appointments.
Calendar pad is not a bad app. It's what I use as an alternative. Jorte is nice too.

Best part is you can set up reoccurring events for week, month, or year. Especially helpful for bills and such.
I bought this phone for the hardware... but man do I miss the Sense UI.
Found and purchased Fancy Widgets for the homescreen clock and weather, but still looking for the calendar and email widgets.
Any pointers on some sense-like widgets?
I would look into Launcher Pro Plus in the market. There are some themed widgets that go along with it.
Beautiful widgets are a great substitute for the weather widget from sense.

Yup these are nice
Thanks for the input. There is some nice stuff out there, you've just got to look for it I guess. Spent hours searching for what came stock with HTC.
Time will tell if the hardware on this phone is worth it, or if I should have stuck it out and waited for the Vigor.
Hey guys,
Not sure if I'm the only person to miss some of the widgets I used to have on the One X and other HTC devices before.
The widget I'm missing most is the Messages widget, cause I always used it for my text messages.
Is there a way to get these widgets on the One?

Same here, they were forced to strip down sense by other idiots always calling it bloat. Now a lot of the widgets I used to use are gone just like you I used to use the text messages widget all the time. Mail was another one of my regular widgets.

A lot of what was in Sense 4 and Sense 4+ was unnecessary bloat, at least in my experience. The performance difference when running a de-Sensed ROM or an AOSP ROM, at least on the One XL, was night-and-day compared to a pure Sense ROM - even on 4.1.
Allow me to download Sense widgets in an HTC store or something, but they should be optional installs, at most.
I miss the 4x1 weather clock with the nice graphics. The sense 5 version might be 'lighter' but I rather liked the clouds that looked cloudy rather then tv weather forecast icony.

I miss being able to type one status update to post across Twitter, Fb, etc
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
There are always other apps than can do that in the same way or better than the HTC widget ones and are less intrusive to the battery and perfomance. What I miss is the lock screen animation, I liked it on the One XL, even when It was a battery sucker. ^^
The difference between Sense 4.x and Sense 5 is really awesome, Sense 5 is faster, sleekier and much faster and less battery intensive than Sense 4.x as for now.

You are still able to do this using the BlinkFeed screen. Just pull down the feed to reveal the menu and tap the pen.
But can't update more than one of the three options shown at the same time...

One of these days you'll realize nobody really cares what your "status updates" are.
Facebook is dumb, twitter a little less dumb when used for news and not "OMG you won't believe who I just saw #someonefamous" crap.
