Are you joking? Only about half of them were "3D". Most of them were even decent. Sure they aren't Modern Warfare 2 or whatever is popular these days, but IT'S ON A CELL PHONE.
Nice vid, gave me some more games to buy.

I wish Android would crank out some awesome RPG/2d platform games and make retro gaming huge again.
I emailed Hexage and they said they're looking into making a new game like that BUT NO OFFICIAL WORD YET

RPG for Android
Baldur's Gate or any BioWare Infinity Engine games would be awesome. Or a remake of Fallout 1 or 2. Both projects have a open source following, aka Pocket Fallout and GemRB but none have pushed anything into the Android market.

RPG vs Runner games
Since most of users of this forums are development related people, and are at least a bit nerdy, no wonder that they would like some more RPG games, but real money are made not on guys like me and you but on housewifes, which want easy games with cute graphics like.

anyone got any good fps shooters or gameloft games such as nova to work

has anyone got any of the game loft games to work or have any fps to recomend. i went to gamelofts site (on my phone of course) and went to by sand storm cus my lil bro was playin it on his i touch. they didnt have the slide so i downloaded it for the droid because i read a lot of places people were using that version on other phones. everytime i open it i get process com.gameloft.android.gand.gloftmchp has stopped unexpectidly. so i went online and downloaded a couple other versions off rapid share and such. not to pirate but i didnt want to spend 5 bux to try each version if i find one that works i will gladly pay for it. the other versions installed opened and downlaoded the nesearry files and then wen i push the screen when it says tap screen to play it shuts off.my friend at work can play it on his palm pre i didnt think either the touch or the pre had better specs than the mytouch.

Omg y man yyyyyyyyyy .....ok first the itouch has an exelerated gpu wich means more memory for games the slide gpu isnt ment for intense game like that even if it was it would be watered down the pre is a dif story it has more internal memory if anything craigslist an ipod touch not itouch(means ur a dumba$$) if u want intense gameing woo(sarcasm) imo im switching my ipod to android when the files for it come out

You have no idea what you're talking about. The MyTouch Slide has 512MB of ram which is double the original Pre and the same as the Pre plus. It also has the same GPU as the nexus one.

Well to be honest the mytouch slide doesn't have any decent first person shooters out now, I know a lot of great ones but they are only for top grade phones I'm sorry

I got a My touch 3G to replace the tilt 2 for my wife since she wanted to play some games I got in my Galaxy S.
I was not expecting miracles but I was hoping that it would be able to run games like Angry Birds, Crush The Castle and Blow Up at great speed but I need to say I am disappointed.
Angry Birds runs the best of the three and playable.
Blow Up is close to good but sometimes feel like its underwater or like watching the Bionic Man.
Crush the Castle is just horrible.
Is it because I am running Cyanogen 6 froyo?
Do you guys really only have about 30MB of free ram after booting?!
Thanks for helping...I am trying to decide if its worth an older ROM like Eclair or just sell this the tilt 2 and look for a Galaxy S and call it a day.

Did you went threw 'performance options' in cyanogenmod 6.0?
Try to enable "JIT".

Yes, more RAM will be freed when you launch an application. You might see people recommending taskliller apps, but they really don't help at all, Android is already perfectly capable of managing running processes.

games the work mytouch&magic etc ?

can anyone let me know what games actually work on these phones i have tried
gamesloft ones but they wonr run, any first person shooters games and racing ones that work or just put in what ever games you have got working plz

All games by Hexage (Buka, Totemo, Everlands, Radiant ect) run very well (they are all 2D). SpeedX 3D also runs fairly well, not super smooth but definitely playable.

The "gpu" of magic is total crap, specially in stock android roms.
I have 3 3D games on my magic, 3D paper plane, Pool break and Speedx, they work pretty good, still they would lag a bit more on stock froyo, on sense 2.1 I get at least 5-6 fps more.

I bought Real Football 2011 (not HD) and is not working on my Magic.
Instead, NFS Shift is working preety great, altought I can't drift.
So, if you know other games that can be bought and they work, write here.
The problem is that I saw that a lot of 2011 games are not working on Magic. If you played one that works let us know (do not link to any websites or warez).

Of course, Magic's GPU is bad ^^ . I think Magic cant play any 3d/HD game . Anyway, i played Zenonia 2 , Robo defense .

Yes, HD games arent for Magic. I bought FIFA 2010 and it works fine, only when are a lot of players in the box, it "slows down".

I assume you are using a mod, as otherwise I would say that anything that you can see on your phone in the market should certainly also be able to run on it.
But basically, anything that runs under OS 1.5 will work fine - Zenonia 2, Majesty, Hungry Shark, to name a few. I expect most 1.6 games would work well too - there's not much difference between the Hero and the Magic, hardware wise. Once you're into OS 2.0 games, though, you should be careful.

I use the official update, 2.2.1, and it works fine.
I want 3D games, like the ones I mentioned above, although it doesn't run very smooth.

Games like Speedx3d and Cut the rope runs good on the magic, try overlocking the cpu.
