I'm using CHT and would like to change the analogue clock (there are so many cool ones!), but simply running the cab won't work.
After googling a lot about it, i've read that you can have only one clock file uner Windows dir, is that true?
Any help would be appreciated.

No, you can have one digital and one analog, the trick is to install before CHT.

well, now i have cht installed, is there a way to change the clock?
i don't mind having ONE clock at a time; the case is that i can't load ANY
the cabs just seem not working (i choose "install on device")

Do they give you an installation error or do the just not show up when you are switching clocks in CHT interface?
..and yes, always install clocks to device.

Yeah, I figured as much.
If you have a look at Cookie's thread, I believe it does state that you have to install clocks first then CHT.
or... the specfic clock may not be compatable with your Manila version.
I would backup your CHT settings, then uninstall it, install the clock to your stock manila, see if it displays, then re-install CHT.
I hate to say it but if that doesn't work, you may want to hard reset and repeat the sequence.

how can you switch analogue clocks in default sense 2.5 ?
btw, i'm picking clocks from this list and make sure they are for wm6.5 (not 6.5.x)

Ok, those are the clocks I use so that shouldn't be an issue.
There is no way AFAIK to switch between clocks in Sense 2.5, one just overrides the other, but both digital and analog clocks are still there.
When I install to a fresh ROM, ALL manila tweaks install first, the CHT and everything works fine.

I have Manila 2D working quite well on my kaiser... The only problem is the clock. Whenever I try to put a new clock/theme on the home tab and I take off the analog clock with M2DC, my digital clock stacks the numbers ontop of one another on the right-hand side of my phone. Anyone know why this keeps happening to me?
Same Issue
My clock is doing the same thing. When i remove the analog clock from the Home XML tab in M2D Customizer, my clock goes off to the far right hand side of the s creen? Is this an issue with manila 2d or is the customizer not working properly?
*Attempting to hard reset device right now...*
Updated Screenshot
Heres a picture of my problem
I have encountered the same problem before. Make sure that you have the most current version of M2DC (easily done using AppToDate). This solved my clock problem. Another problem is witht he two page weather... The layout gets jacked up if you change themes, requiring either editing of the xml or hard resetting to correct the problem. In either event, editing the xml was the choice I went with.
I had the same problem last week after using one of the manila customiser..
in the end had to do hard reset.
maybe I should have reinstall Manila?
but I can't see Manila when I tried to remove programs.
updating the version of M2DC helped my problem as well. I did not reinstall M2D to a different version, just a hard reset, and it was fixed.
Same Issue
It's kind of redundant when you have to hard reset to fix something so simple. It's like the M2D customizer does this on purpose. I have this awsome clock that I found as a cab file that replaced the origional clock in Manilla 2D. I have the mose update Manilla 2d customizer per this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427392
and the latest version of Manila 2D from this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=425851.
Heres how it goes.... I can hard reset my device, and install the manila cab. I can then install the Manilla 2D customizer and loadthe theme that I made.. I will then install the cab file for the Clock that I like. It works great... As soon as I change to another theme, It goes all hay wire. I dont that much care for the analog clock and wish there was a way to disable it completely.
I guess it's the small thing that drive me crazy
I got the same problem in my Jade.
Without solution yet?

You need to change the registry settings back to the theme file settings after you disable the analog clock.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3044940&postcount=1098
I dont think its due to m2dc, i have been flashing alot of ROMs and have found the newer builds seem to be the problem, not sure why? You can untick the analog and copy over the theme .xml with total commander and soft-reset but then you still have the alarm etc, you can edit out the unwanted in the .xml and there is a thread about this.
M2DC clock messed up
Folks,
same problem for me and Ihave found a workaround:
even with manilla 2d cooked in I install the following cab after having
installed m2dc and a corr. theme:
SJ 2DManila 1_00_18203328_00.cab
The installation will be unsuccesful but anyway, after a softreset the clock
is displayed in correct manner. Hope that helps.
Happened to me the other day, I figured I just did something wrong. I did a hard reset and changed to a different theme, and didn't have that problem, weird. Curious what would cause this.
According to M2DC's site, this problem was resolved and was a known issue. As of the Jan 30 release it was resolved according to the developer. Are you SURE you have the newest version ?
Its Right Here....Check against your Version
Hope this helps
ALSO,
What I did was backup the OEM Manilla theme using M2DC with the older version so I was able to restore it later....worked well as I was experimenting skins No need to hard reset
This registry setting did the trick for me:

Yes.

All different in design and working without problems on my topaz (exception: I didn't test the sprint clock).
I'm always looking to see more of my backgrounds so I just started messing around with some glass shelves and it came out well so I made a theme of it
3 Clocks
PureGlassShelfClock
MetalGlassShelfClock
ChromeGlassShelfClock
GlassChromeSlider
GlassChromeShelfLockscreen-CHT Lockscreen
WMGlassLockscreen
IMPORTANT NOTES
-this theme was made using cfc UltraHQ compression because the glass shelves look awful with normal quality. UltraHQ requires your phone to be patched with cfc 0.50. (if anyone wants to try normal quality anyway I can make that up quick as well)
-a few icons in the slider were taken from old slider icons, everything else was made from scratch
-you may use my work in anything you like, just credit me please
-I attached glass shelf template .png files in shelftemplates.zip in case anyone wants to use them for quicklinks, etc.
-I may take requests if needed and comments and feedback are always welcome
-added no curtains.cab to this post in case anyone needs it
Installation
-Patch your phone with cfc 0.50; (if not already done) here's the link to instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2798454&postcount=6
-Install .cabs
-Restart Sense
-Enjoy!
-See post #4 for updated .cabs (compressed and some bugs fixed)
Thanks for sharing!
great work extra clean! is the slider for 6.5 lockscreen?
Sorry, didn't reserve any posts so remaining updates will go here. (post#4)
Updated:
-CFC compressed version of lockscreen and clocks (runs faster and smoother)
-New version of sliders that eliminates all remnants of your rom's sliders.(compressed as well)
-Windows Mobile 6.5 Lockscreen released (shelf must be placed in your lockscreen wallpaper though and shows up in start menu and start up-see screenshot in post #1)
-(for WM lockscreen only)shelf must be positioned correctly in your wallpaper, you can either do it yourself or upload here and I will. I attached the wallpaper from the screenshot in WMGlassLockscreen.zip
-Calendar bug on slider fixed
This glass shelf looks great on the screen - thanks for your work and for sharing it!
thanks for sharing
they look realy great. when i have my phone working i'll use them for sure
glad you guys like them
Gonna give it a whirl. Looks great!

Does it work for hd mini?
Thanks.
will it work on asus P525 with wm6.5?
thx man for the great work n sharing
Great work, looks absolutely awesome. Thanks!
Edit: I didn't notice before, the icons in the slider are overwritten by the ones (I guess) from the ROM (VBN Clarity). Is there any way to remove the ROM icons and just display the ones from these cabs?
See attached screenshots for what I mean.

Do you mean the hd mini lockscreen? No, it does not currently work on the hd mini lockscreen style. It's only for CHT lockscreen right now, but I may make it for the WM style as well if needed. The clock will work on any manila 2.5 device.
I love these! Thanks!

It may work on wm6.5 depending on what version of manila you're running, this was originally made for manila 2.5 but if you're on manila 2.1 I think I still have the manila files from my old stock rom on 2.1 and I can make up the theme for you on that as well if needed, just leave a post to confirm what you're using.

I was afraid that was going to happen The problem is arising because I made this theme using a Dinik.Glass.EnergyROM in which the image used for the "active" tab was deleted by Dinik because it does not matter in transparent sliders, and I couldn't find all those blank images I'll look up some manila 2.5 files to find the active tab files tonight and I should have the patched slider done by tomorrow.
EDIT:Sliders are now updated and this problem should not occur

Do you mean the Windows Mobile Lockscreen where you slide across? The HD mini lockscreen only slides down and doesn't really work for slide across style slider. I'd be happy to make it for the WM Lockscreen if you like.

When I flash it, THERE!! The icons are still very much there...So WHAT exactly IS a cookie home tab....
From what I uderstand, this is a cookie home tab in the attached pic..

No. This is Manilla 2.5 from Leo. If you don't want this quicklaunch icons take manilla 2.1.
CHT is tool for changing layout of widgets in hometab of manilla. Like this :

Oh...thanx
I really thought CHT only meant the icons I have marked in the attached jpg..so NO CHT means these icons will remain but NOT the CHT...right??
what you have marked there are the standard quicklinks from Sense.
click on one, and you get the option to link to an app, contact etc.
It you want to remove a link, you click on the soft-menu "menu", which gives you that option, as well as some other Sense options.
So that's all Sense functionality.
As mentioned, CHT allows you to move widgets (eg clock, calendar etc) around the page - with just Sense, you don't get that option.

I saw a lot of app to customize WinMo (taken from HTC and other...)
What are the following things???
---Touch Flo 2D
---Touch Flo 3D
---Touch Flo HD
---Touch Flo HD v.2
---Xperia x1 panels
---Manila 2D
---Manila 3D
---Cookie's Home Tab
Which is the best? Where can I download the latest version?
My phone has WVGA Resolution, but the screen is landscape...
---I know Wisbar Advance and Wisbar Advance Desktop.
Which are your favourite themes for this programs? (especially for WVGA).
---I know SPB Mobile Shell and a lot others.
Which are your favourite themes for this programs? (especially for WVGA).
Co0kie Home Tab is a modifciation of manila3d, and it makes the home screen very customizable with the ability to have many widgets, swype screen left and right, up and down, and easy modify graphics elements in the screen. But I am not sure if manila3D can be installable in your device. You can get the EXT packages from this kitchen and try. Once you have manila3d (also called HTC Sense) you can try to install Co0kie Home Tab from here. But again, I do not know if this will work in your device.
Thanks poyensa,
I wait for others comment from other XDA members...
Samsung also has TouchWiz on the Omnia series of Windows Mobile phones.
Thanks kjliev
I think TouchWiz is the customization included in Omnia 2...
But the others?...
I want the skin in this image!
What is it? Can I download it? (also in landscape)
It also change dialer and other things?
what you want exactly? is this image from your device and you want to modify it? then you need to provide the manila version you have installed; or you want to import the skin to your device?

I think that slider icons belongs to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=726996. That slider works in HTC Sense (manila 2.5) You can dump the files with any cab manager tool (see here)
To convert the manila files to png format (and viceversa) you may need CFC GUI or TF3D manila mode9 editor
If you want to apply that cab directly to your device you need to have manila 2.5 installed in your device. I remember some links to a manila 2.5 cab made by jmart518, but the best way should be cooking it in your rom. Some ext package should still be available in XDA. I know manila 2.5 had been ported to some non HTC devices (omnia2). If not possible you can try with manila 2.1.

Yes but look here & here. Manila2D was done for qvga devices, so all inslatallation on wvga devices strat from qvga then apply some fix for realignment. Specially this thread is for manila2D on X1 which was wvga (800x480). In fact you should look into x1 forum as there was a huge development there and they even had working last verisons of manila3D (HTC Sense)
