Undervolt Sense ROMS (Fresh) - Hero CDMA Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm currently running fresh 2.1.1 deodexed and am wondering if anybody can make an update zip of an undervolted kernel for sense roms. I know darch posted one but I'm under the impression that an AOSP kernel might not work for fresh or damage. Is this possible?

Anything different with the Voodoo you're planning on including? I've been using Voodoo Beta5 for some time now on various 2.2 ROM's...I've got it installed with sXe v4 Beta...no troubles to report.
AWESOME!
Thanks so much, downloading and flashing now!

Back to stock - optimized kernel proved unstable - I think you will find this is Frickin' Fast!
I'm running obsidian 4.2 with the ULF. Will the ULF cause any problems while flashing? Do I need to take any special steps/precautions? I typically to a factory reset/wipe from CW and then flash the rom of choice (backup is a given). This is my first time flashing a new rom after using the ULF though so i'm unsure.

Your usual steps are what I would have suggested anyway.
Damn it, just downloaded, flashed and setup the Azura 2.1 this morning and this comes out! There are a lot of good ROMs coming out. Now that 2.3 is out, hopefully some even better ROMs come out here the end of the year.
JK6 modem, I assume?

Flash

Is there a flash upgrade for my hero running aosp froyo mod?
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App
Or a way to tell if I have flash
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App
As far as I know Flash is not available through these ROM's. Flash Lite is available on Sense ROM's I believe.
From what I know, the hero isn't capable yo have flash. Regardless of the ROMS.

The hero doesn't support regular flash player, but sense roms have the frameworks to run HTC's flash player. What happened is flash for android was compiled for arm v7 cpu's. We have arm v6 . HTC compiled flash lite for v6, but it's attached to the htc frameworks, so it has to be in a sense rom. Sorry
Yeah, we'll never see one for this phone, besides the existing lite one. But hey, it's not really all that bad.
Yea by now, I think we are all used to be left behind. Am I right?

[Q] I9000 GalaxySENSE and GalaxyCOMB ROMs for Captivate?

I have gotten I9000 ROMs to install on my Cappy before, but now with both of Kenia1234's AMAZING GalaxySENSE/COMB ROMs for the I9000 I get an assert error(Status 7) when I try to flash it in CWM. Why is this? Any solutions would be Awesome!
I honestly dont know anytime about the romsb our the error. Just wondering if it has to do with version of cwm, ie v3 vs v2?

It does, and we are supposed to be on CWM 3.X.X.X
Sent from my Cappy rockin' MIUI on Glitch kernel from XDA Premium App
I think you have to have a special kernel for sense/honeycomb for it to work, also are you sure they are CWM installable and which CWM they are compatible with
also if no special kernel is needed make sure you have an I9000 kernel since that is what they are for
Im using a reoriented kernel, specifically for the I9000 Sense port, made to make it work on the Captivate. I'm no noob, not saying anyone is, this just really got my attention cuz I love sense and wanna try Honeycomb out for awhile!

[REQ] GAPPS

Can someone running the 4.0.3 OTA pull the gapps and related libraries/config files out (see koush's ics gapps as an example http://download.clockworkmod.com/test/gapps-ics-20111128.zip)
I've built a 4.0.3 rom for the gnexus but there appear to be issues with the older gapps.
thanks

Awesome! Has anyone been able to get this to work on an AT&T Atrix?
Could you clarify what it means: Froyo (2.2.x) but 2.3.7 compatible?
Also dost it exist anything like GB (2.3.x) Fruit Cake?

Just like he said. It is Android 2.2 (aka Froyo), but modified so that it fools Google Play (and possibly others) to think it's a 2.3.7 (aka Gingerbread).
