This is a rom I created for personal use. It wasn't made to include any major modifications, just things I found necesary for any android user.
Features for 2.0 ( based on new Orange Rom) :

Edit :
You must do a full wipe for the 2.0 version.
Recommended wipe for 1.6 or atleast a wipe of dalvik-cache (only when upgrading from 1.4 for under).
Also you must remove the previous version of google maps.
For extra speed use swap.

Not yet but I'm considering it for the next version which hopefully will have swap too. Will come in a few days when I get some more free time.

I don't think the task killer tweaks influence that.
as I can tell if the application closes the internal taskiller
I also would like to know how to know the ram free without having to install the application of taskiller, but would be the same as always.

Is wifi tether working? It will be 1st 1.6 rom with this option working.. it works only on 2.1 on tattoo

Hi,
I was starting to get sick of all the Android 1.6 Sense UI ROMs with too many useless Apps installed. I was also getting sick of ones which are "optimised" and run slower as a result.
I have therefore decided to release HCDR.ROM, with the aim to only include Apps which are particularly useful and to only include optimisations which actually do optimise performance. It is based on the WWE 1.67.405.6 release and features the following:
*root
*su + superuser.apk
*busybox
*Sense UI & All Sense Apps
*Silent boot animation
*Everything works as it does on Stock ROM (Camera, WiFi etc.)
*Does not require wipe if flashing from another 1.6 ROM!!!
*All Google Apps included
*ROM Name and Version shown in About Phone

Known bugs:
*Superuser giving Force Close on v1.7. If you experience this, reinstall Superuser from Market. If it still doesn't work, flash v1.6 until I find a fix.
The new Black Theme Patch v3.2 (for v1.4+ ONLY) contains the theme from Sense 2.1 including lockscreen, status bar and icons! Flash in the same way you flash the ROM and old Black Theme. Thanks to JoOoSs for this theme!
The White Theme Patch v1.0 (for v1.4+ ONLY) is a buggy patch made by myself containing the White Theme from the Orange ROM. It is early in development and some things don't display correctly. Everything does still function correctly though.
The Overclock Kernel patch (for all versions) includes the kernel that ralle.gade made for KiljackenROM, which I have compiled from source. (Source available here) This kernel includes tattoo-hack and enables overclock to 710MHz, swap functionality and more. To overclock the CPU you'll have to use SetCPU (available on the market or here at xda if you search) or overclock widget. I would include SetCPU but the developer has requested that it isn't included in ROMs.
IMPORTANT: SetCPU will allow you to set anything up to 748MHz, however, if you go past 710, then SetCPU (and the phone) will freeze up. If you go no higher than 710MHz you'll be fine (although I don't recommend going over 700 as it may become unstable)
There are bugs in this kernel, and quite a few of them. adb may not function properly, and camera only works if CPU scaling is set to performance. THESE BUGS WILL BE FIXED SOON.
Please try it and let me know what you think. If there are any suggestions you have or features which you feel need adding, tell me. I made this ROM to be as close to the original ROM as possible, but with the basic things that I need to have in my ROM such as root
Remember to do a nandroid backup before flashing and if you experience any problems, try a full wipe and re-flash to see if they persist before leaving a comment.

Bluetooth works the same as in all Sense roms, so file transfer isn't supported but Bluetooth handsfree should work fine

For me, the market tooks too many time to load, don't know why.
Another thing, at first the lockscreen didn't have the grey bar but just the hour, now it is like a normal rom. Is it normal?
Look like speeder than the original ROM

I will change the theme colour to black for the next release. The market works fine for me, I'll look into it for you though
And I'm not sure why that happened to the lockscreen, but I'll see if I can replicate the problem and figure out what happened because that's unusual

* No Touch Tones in "In Call keypad" like for Voice Mail password
- Fix = Go into Settings > Sound and set Audible touch sounds to long.

Yup it is.
All I have really done was add my Business Sense theme, apps and some of it's related mods.
I am also releasing v1.1 with the stack Froyo 2.2+ kernel since it fixes a few things like sync animation. Will post more when I fill the first post.

I have been following that thread since day 1. From all reports from my v1 all is working except the CamCorder.
Replacing the ported kernel with the stock HTC kernel fixed a few things.
Can you think of things you are specifically interested in.

1) really laggy and even freeze up when installing apps.
Minor:
1) In the call, top left says "unknown", it should be Verizon Wireless.
2) HTC Sense launcher would force close once in a while, but I haven't noticed it since I changed the kernel
3) It rebooted when I was charging and streaming music, again this could be kernel related.

I have not niticed the lag when installing.
The first one of the minor I forgot about. The kernel seems to fix 2 and 3.

Also, does your internal memory mount when connecting to PC?
I will try out your ROM in a bit, to see if the lag only happens in Incdoes' ROM maybe not in yours.
Do you think I can just flash your ROM on top of IncDoes' without wiping?
This is exactly the right direction to take the Z port in. Always thought the Z port will become the base ROM for work from Nils/Incubus/Lou/Skyraider/bored because of the extra features in the base ROM, htcsense.com, speed advantages compared to the official verizon RUUs.

For me, its battery life. I don't know what it is about the rom, but it murders my battery. It is so difficult, since i love the updated sense, but having a ~60% battery drop overnight really kills it for me..

I am getting the same battery life with this ROM as I did with my Incredible Business Sense ROM with the stock Incredible Kernel.
There are a lot more things syncing so I turned everything off except weather and activsync mail
Anybody try Picture MMS, I was using the Desire-Z rom and it wasn't working for sending and would assume this would have the same issue. Anybody tested it or could let me know?

The v4.1 version is an incremental update not a rom! You first flash V4 and after v4.1 not require WIPE
How to install V4 for all user:
- If you have a stock android version do Wipe-cache and dalvik-cache and flash rom
- If you have CM7 or other NO-Stock rom do Full wipe(Data/app, cache and dalvik-cache) and flash rom
NOTE: The old battery theme is not compatible with new version, soon create a new compatible theme!

How to install V3 for new CM7 user:
- Downaload CM7 and Gapps from Here
- Copy zip on your phone and reboot to recovery
- Go to "mounts and storgare"--> format system, data, cache
- Go back and wipe data/factory, cache and dalvik-cache
- Now flash first CM7 and then Gapps
- Reboot phone and setting your account and if you want restore Gapps
- After that download ZeROXs V3 and copy to phone
- Reboot to recovery and flash
- Have Fun!!!
How to install V3 for CM7 user:
If you have already CM7 on your phone:
- Download ZeROXs V3 copy to phone
- Reboot to recovery and flash without any wipe
- Have Fun!!!
How to install old version
- Download the Rom
- Copy zip file on your phone
- Reboot in recovery mode
- Do Wipe Data/Facory reset and Wipe Dalvik-Cache
- Go to "install zip from sd" --> "choose zip..." and select rom
- Good Flash!

Something is wrong with the rom zip, clockwork recovery just aborts installation(status 6). It says the size of the download should be 112.6mb but the file that downloads is only 107mb. I have downloaded twice

For me it took 3 minutes. but it dont boot. This time it flashes but it doont boot, it just loops on the same spoot of nexus bootscreen.
Rom now flashes, but it stills in booting...

Installation
After downloading the ROM, and adding any add-ons you choose install the ROM through recovery or ROM manager like any other ROM. After flashing the ROM, you must flash a custom kernel of your choice, otherwise it will not be overclockable, and may not work. Make sure you wipe the cache after flashing the kernel otherwise the WiFi will not work. It is advisable that you do a full wipe before flashing the ROM, as I can not provide any support if you did not.

Think its awesome that your only 15 making your own roms bro. The thing is everyone on this forum that's using a sense Rom wants 3 or 3.5 and the only way they'll leave that is for a ics aosp Rom. Personally I prefer aosp so I'm out. But I did want to mention what I think your doing is cool and you should keep on it even if you don't get a lot of feed back.

Make it as stable as you can. CRT animations,advanced power menus,extended quick settings,misc tweaks(like rcmix tweaks) etc.
