Access Forbidden - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ok so I have a new issue, whenever I try to use the web browser while connected via 3g I just get a message on my web browser saying "Access Forbidden" that's it. It doesn't matter what rom I run, the only time I don't her that message is when I run. Clean stock 2.1 update 1

i really dont think this is a normal issue. i can access my email, use the opera web browser, even fennec works. but the webkit browser (stock and others like dolphin) get me the "Access fORBIDDEN" message. there is nothing else to it, no code or number. PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS!!

Problems accessing iGoogle and gmail on Opera browser

Hello, since a couple of days i've been experiencing problems using iGoogle on my opera browser... The problems started after upgrading my phone from 1.37 rom to 1.93, but they're probably unrelated to the rom.
I can access the google page, but after entering my email and password to login to iGoogle or gmail something strange happens: I am directed to a completely blank page, with 1 word in the top-left of the page "Google". Nothing else. Also, a small icon of a lock appears in the address bar. The address bar displays an url starting with https://.
One time i got an error message saying i had cookies disabled, but when I checked in the Opera settings it was enabled, and i never changed this... so this appears to be a problem with Opera not allowing cookies, since google wants to place a cookie when you log in.
Does someone recognize my problem and know how to solve it?
Some other people have the same problem, see here.
I have the same problem. It started a couple of days ago, and I didn't change any settings. This was before I updated to the 1.93 rom, so I should think it's a problem on googles side, and not with the phone.
I'm still able to access gmail with Internet Explorer (but the light version for mobile phones).
i sorted mine out .solution here

It's a different problem to the one you had coopigeon, and the solution that worked for you doesn't help here.
I think omnivore and jaeger are on the right track that it's an Opera issue in how it's interacting with the gmail servers, perhaps relating to 1.93, or some new settings google are now using??!
It used to work or me, and now it's not working for me (after I upgraded to 1.93) so I'm stuck to using IE for e-mail checking
Yes it's different, because I use a mail account set on IMAP for gmail and that works perfectly... I don't even want to use the browser gmail, cause the WinMobile account stuff is good enough for me.
The problem is indeed related to the way the Opera browser interacts with the google page. I have now tried something:
I typed the entire url in my desktop browser... and voila, there i was on iGoogle. I guess my new diamond is not as shiny as my old desktop pc ;-)
The long url i get when i try to log in on starts with https, which means it's a secure connection, and apparantly Opera can't handle it. Either placing cookies is disabled in the software (although the settings say different), or the browser somehow can't redirect from the https secure page, to the normal http page.
Are there programmers here who can look into this? You'd be a great help, cause I'm addicted to my iGoogle with 10 different news-sites! RSS feeds don't even come close...

Enable more than one popup in the browser?

I recently found out that my company has enabled the web version of microsoft office communicator (Internal IM).
The problem is that it launches a popup for the main buddy window and a separate popup for each chat. (I enabled popups). I've verified that I can log in and see the buddy window perfectly, however when I try to open a chat the browser complains that only one popup window can be open at a time.
Is there a way to overcome/hack this limitation? I'm going to try other browsers now...(skyfire, opera etc)
thanks.
bump
I use a hosted app that requires the same (2 pop-up windows at a time)
Super old thread I know, but try xScope Browser in the market. That allowed me to open more than one popup in a certain site I was trying to access.

[Q] Cannot login to facebook

Ever since i updated to official JPM i cant login to facebook anymore from the browser. When i type in my username and password and hit login, it just goes back to the same login page again.
It does not matter if i do this from touch.facebook.com or the full site. If i try to login from the full site it just goes back to the touch version.
I tried deleting all cache and cookies but it doesnt help! And yes, i can login from any PC just fine. And no, it does not give any errors at all.
Any clues on this? Or is this just another of the endless list of annoying bugs on this phone?
I have a similar problem, can't login to the web site on phone using stock browser, only noticed this because when I use the Facebook app and try to view posts, It automatically opens the browser and asks for a login.... sometime is will open the mobile version and that seams to be ok, but more often than not, it wil load the Full site and thus not let me login?

[Q] why can't i use the facebook app

im using a X1.and i can't enter website facebook.com or use facebook application and i can't figure out why!anyone have a solution for this problem????
Does your browser/facebook panel/facebook app return any error message? Are you able to access other sites as well? It may be that your GPRS/3G internet connection is disabled/not set up if you're unable to access the net at all!
I'm not sure. It may be caused by your low internet connection speed.
It is happened to me when I go to a G/EDGE Coverage and it's better when I reached 3G.
If you like to get another try you may try an application from marketplace.
Good luck!
Are you able to access other sites beside facebook on Opera/IE mobile? If no, it's an issue with your internet connection. If yes, try clearing your browser's cache & cookies.
Alternatively, as mymailx mentioned, install Microsoft's version of FB wrom the WM marketplace.

Security issue...

When trying to browse internet or use Facebook I get a warning about the website not being from the usual trusted sender.
It gives the option to look at the security certificate and this states its from Cloudfront,net...also there is a random letter `m` in the adress bar
e.g. (www.mgoogle.com)
Tried on stock browser and Chrome both give this warning and Facebook fails to find log-in server.
I have just updated to .201.
What do you think guys??
Thanx...
