I'm having major issues with the Su. Everytime I do something that I need to click allow for Su I just get a blank screen. It says Su request at the top with a blank black screen. It was working fine yesterday. I still have my recovery. I'm stumped!!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Had this same issue the other day....
Go into Settings/Applications/Development
Make sure that USB debugging has a green checkmark
That should hopefully clear up teh SU Permissions issue.
Ahhhh!!! I feel stupid!! That did the trick. Thanks man I really appreciate it. Sorry for cluttering the forum up with this :/

i've just successfully flashed capt. jager's 1.2 rom. this is ex post root, reflash, backup, et wipe. on initial impression, i like it a lot, seems a lot more smooth and less cluttered.
just wanted folks to know that there is a chance jager's rom can be flashed with success, but this is not any guarantee.
i'm all too lazy to post screen shots, but the rom can be found at unrevoked.sodpit.com
peace,
big
the page is down now...could you repost that?
When you "wipe" your device... Factory wipe? Delete all everything in the partition? I'm a bout confused with that.

I flashed earlier but had a continuous acct sync going on. I didn't wipe first I'll try again with a wipe. Other than that I agree, seemed snappier, less bog.

Hi all,
I must be missing something, or have something installed that is not making any live wallpaper load.
I get the "loading wallpaper" when I select a live wallpaper, but then background goes black, then my default wallpaper comes back on after a few seconds.
I am using a HTC Dream CM6.1.0-DS rooted/unlocked.
Thanks
Heeter

You can find Firerat's AIO patch Here
I used 140patch. This is the last stable patch I found from Firerat. put it on the root folder of your SDcard.
I opened my terminal and typed:
Code:
su
then pressed enter. This gave me superuser status. then I typed in:
Code:
sh /sdcard/fr-patch140.txt lwp
then pressed enter again. Then rebooted.
This is on my cyanogenmod 6.1.0-DS rooted HTC G1/Dream.
Don't know if it will work on other devices.

Somebody help me!
I attempted to install Ubuntu 11.04 onto a separe partition on my MacBook 6.1.
It apparently screwed with EFI, and now, whenever I boot, I need to do the boot sequence 5 times to get into any OS.
I have to power the mac on & off 5 times...
During the first bootup, the Sleep LED will begin to flash rapidly, and then I'll hear a long beep, then a black screen.
Has anybody experienced this? Somebody help. I can't afford a new Logicboard.

The confusing parts are terminal commands that they want you to execute.

It sucks that the fix is RIGHT THERE, and I can't even understand it. :'(
- Download Firmware Update 1.7 here.
Open terminal and copy & paste this into the terminal:
Code:
mv MBP55_00AC_03B_LOCKED.scap MB61_00C8_B00_LOCKED.scap
and now:
Code:
sudo bless -mount / -firmware MB61_00C8_B00_LOCKED.scap --verbose
Shutdown and restart. Update the firmware and reboot again.

I recently downgraded my rom from cm10.1 to cm10 on my xperia t because cm10.1 made my phone get very hot and this fixed the issue, however now I cannot delete anything with root explorer and when I want to download a picture from the browser it immediately says download unsuccessful, Im not sure if the two are linked but I cant find any answers that work. I think it might be something to do with anti-piracy as there was something that stopped me from installing apks before though I could just disable that in app manager but this is quite different.
Make sure your directory isnt set to read only.
In root explorer there is a small button at the top reading either "Mount R/W" or "Mount R/O", it needs to read "Mount R/O".
If it doesnt press it to toggle between settings.
Thanks but I know this already also I was not even in system files
