Adobe Reader vs. PDF Viewer - HTC Aria Themes and Apps

For anybody who has used either, is there any disadvantage to using PDF Viewer over Adobe Reader? As mentioned in another post, our Arias do not have much internal storage and without Froyo we cannot officially put Apps onto our SDs. So I'm just wondering if PDF Viewer is adequate for reading PDF files online or if Adobe Reader has other advantages that is worth taking up 4MB of internal space?

[Q] eBook Reader for Adobe DRM PDFs

Anyone know of an eBook Reader for Adobe DRM PDFs? I tried using txtr, which seemed the most promising as it asks for an Adobe ID. It doesn't seem to work and I've tried all the suggestions of using the ADE on the PC to open the file on the tablet first, or upload to txtr.com and download.
I also tried Aldiko, which was listed in the Adobe Digital Editions compatible Ebook readers page, yet had no place to put in the Adobe ID.
Has anyone been successful in getting this to working on any reader? I'm trying to read Adobe DRM PDFs from the library.
I know Roebeet was working on the Pandigital Novel before this. Roebeet, is there an app that can be harvested from the firmware that could enable DRM PDFs?
Adobe EPub files work with Overdrive Media Console
Our Library uses the Overdrive service for eBooks. The marketplace has their new V2 Overdrive Media Console app which allows you to download ePub books directly to the Android. It's still uses a browser for your logins/checkouts but after choosing to download the Overdrive Media Console takes over and it's downloaded directly into the App.
So, this is an Android only, computer free mobile solution for Adobe DRM ePub files only, the pdfs still aren't supported by the Overdrive App. Too bad all books aren't offered in ePub format.

Best free ebook reader for .mobi format?

Title pretty much says it all. I have a bunch of .mobi books I would like to read on my Captivate, and both the Kindle app and the AEPReader don't seem to work. Thanks.
I had my whole library in .mobi format from my winmo phones. When I switched to android, I couldn't find a decent reader4 that could usae them. I just downloaded calibre and converted all of them to .epub and imported them into Aldiko reader.
Worked out fine for me. Aldiko is a nice reader.

Sideload book problem: "Sorry, cannot open this book"

I am having problems with the default B&N reader app. When I first got my NC, I used put an ebook in the sdcard/My Files/Books folder. Then I clicked on it via the reader app and all was fine.
Now, when I try to sideload ANY epub file, I get the error message:
"Sorry, cannot open this book"
This happens with both native epub files and files I convert with Calibre.
Am I doing something wrong in Calibre or did something change?
I should note that Aldiko and moon+ both recognize and display the ebook just fine.

[Q] Where to put epubs on SD Card to show up in library?

I've converted some books to epub and sent them to the Nook with Calibre, but I'd like them to show up in my library. Any idea where they should go? I don't want to have to store all my books on the Nook itself and would imagine that the ability to increase storage on an external card would allow for them to show up in the library.
Thanks!
I use adobe digital editions and drag them to the root of my memory card. then I add them to the favorites shelf in my library.
Mine are in sdcard/my files/books and they show up in the library.
What I have found is that if the files get to the SD card via a network download do not show up 100% in the library. You can select them from my files, read them, but can not place them on a shelf nor will your place be saved until the nook indexes the SD Card.
I am not entirely sure what causes this to happen but you can force it to happen 1 of 2 ways: 1) Reboot, 2) Take the SD Card out and put it back in.

Don't feel too bad. I have similar problems with BlackBerries. Besides new files, they also don't like updating the media library after you've deleted files either.
Thanks! Copying them from the folder that's automatically created for them, at the root of the SD Card, to the Books folder in My Files, worked. I was even able to keep them in the "author" folders and they still showed up as individual books in my Library, which is pretty cool.

I don't use Google books. I use the Nook app and there is a folder in the SD card. In that folder there is a folder for books. You should look for a folder for the Google books app and just copy your ebooks into that folder.
I have only been able to sync books if I brought them through google. from pc to tablet. but if you have books I'm sure you can put it on your SD card

File Format
Books on Google Play are stored in the cloud, so if you plan to read on the web using your computer, tablet, or on your phone, there is no file to download and you can read ebooks directly within the browser or application. If you plan to read using an eReader, you should learn more about the available ePub and PDF file formats, and how to transfer ebook files onto your eReader device.
A small number of ebooks may not be enabled for download to your eReader due to limits set by the publisher; those ebooks will display an alert message ("No download files included") before you purchase or get the ebook.
