i have tried to mod my wm6.1 rom to show 96dpi (wheres the live cab inside) and live and messanger is working correctly so far as i could see in short testing!!
screenshots are from my "moded" rom... the normal topbar has some missing icons..
to test in current using rom just edit following in registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\ Display\GPE\

i think commanger is a big problem...
when you look into my rom.. i'm using the commanger with displaybutton 0 (or 1 i can't remember)
and the icons are still in 131dpi... and the buttons are all in the upperleft corner... center in 131dpi mode..
i tryed to edit the background auf this displaytype in commanager from pink to green, but after every change i cant use the commanger anymore..
so we just have to find a commanager app that is compiled for 96dpi... unless we have this i think we could not get this problem fixed...
but i love 96dpi rom by now
the next step what i want to do is that we can change the dpi settings from within the rom...
i have tryed to add the files from your fix above to the 131dpi rom, renamed all the files to x.96.dll and x:96.mui but this didn't work...
i don't know if the live is working because the main is programmed to use either x.131.dll oder x.96.dll...
but when we have a fully working 96dpi rom... ok we don't need to change in running system i think ... mhhh

you can not add 96 dpi dlls to 131 dpi baked rom
you need to add them to the kitchen adn realocate modules otherwise it freezes
i will try the list commanager from hermes
i think that will be interesting
di you found a way to list all 16 icons in stead of 12?

Hey Jerpelea. Fantastic work again mate, keep it up.
The radio works well, and I'm glad that the SPL 77.7 actually allows you to install it- in the past I would install it, bit it would still say 1.38. 1.54.30.10 is the radio I use on my Hermes, so I know it works well.
I've noticed an issue with the Threaded SMS application- it won't allow me to use the BACK button as backspace. I was able to send an sms successfully- but only because I made no spelling mistakes. This really was a pain, so I've uninstalled it, and now the "Messaging" icon is not working as it's pointing to the old software.
Could you look into a fix for this? Is there a problem with the normal threaded sms app in WM6.1? Otherwise I am going to reflash and not install the extra cab.

Thank you for this 21632 test rom version, this rom now includes htc mega lockscreen and the video mode already functions for the first time since build 23001 aside from other noted enhancements
Noted bugs are the following:
1) Day appear only as a box in the titanium and during lockscreen mode
2) Day and am/pm in alarm and time settings also appear as a box
3) Calculator does not function
4) When language is shifted to chs language boxes will appear instead of the language selected

also, total commander needs a half-second to accept a tap pressing... is this normal?

SMS patch at boot is perfectly normal!!
As regards total commander you gotta ignore this by adding a string value to this reg :
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings\TFLOIgnoreAPPs]
in your case :
"IgnoreCecmd"="cecmd.exe"

Did you check if the executable file's name (I mean "rex-nodata.exe") is written correctly??
if it's so...did you install the attached cab??
if both answers are "yes" I really don't know why it doesn't work...

Really really strange...it works fine for me...both with vodafone and with wind...so it's too strange...did you install some cabs??

however I solved the issue: I deleted the sms patch files, ie
\windows\esecuzione automatica\sms patch.exe
\programmi\zenyee\sms patch\setup.dll
added the key "HKLM\services\MSG" with string "MessagingService.dll"
now it receives sms the interface is old 2.1 style
some little bugs for your next release:
1. the slide2shutdown link is missing
2. the date of the rom is 12/11/09
3. hardware keys always vibrate, can't change the settings
4. the regedit app has the same select problem as total commander
and a request... can you make the sms patch uninstallable? there are some folks who likes the new htc messaging!
anyway the more I use this rom the more I like it

You have to edit "Shellres.192.dll" with Restorator of another resource editor...it's the first icon...you can change it with another one...

Great Kenya .... is not your first ROM I've tried but this is really well equipped stable and fast enough and the percentage of RAM used is between 49% and 50%

I have updated my Xperia x1 rom with MrRusch [WWE][ROM] Touch X 10.9.1 (WM6.1/Manila 2.1.19202517) NUTS!
My main concept is, creating original pure Xperia rom wm61 only with base manila 2.1 wheater clock. I see only one manila cab for xperia in the forum, :HTC TouchFlo 3D Port From HTC Blackstone / Rhodium Project. This cab is install only manila 2.0 without wheater clock, and unsupported landscape mode.
1., I want customize: remove some apps, restore the original xperia dialer, comm manager,...but i dont have the oem package list for MrRusch [WWE][ROM] Touch X 10.9.1 (WM6.1/Manila 2.1.19202517) NUTS and i cant extract this rom to remove the not req apps.
2.,Another way is creating new, same wm61+manila 2.1 (wheater clock), but after 2 day searching i dont have any solution.
3.,After little search i find the older version this rom and the components link:

I can remove/edit Kitchen, but this is the older version:
-no wheater clock
-After copy/remove i have added the xperia dialer, comm manager. I see the xperia dialer but, after touching the right Menu button, i cant select this menu items with touch (video call, call history, this windows popup skined with HTC), only with my optical mouse. Popup menu items texture problem?
-Comm manager is 100% but the background texture size of the comm manager components is higher

i think Jack's 3.X Medium version the closest rom you could get. it's lighter than TouchX ( although i got a couple SoD with that rom )

-Increased PagePool from default to 15MB, showning a good increase on speed.

-Removed the default Windows Mobile pictures, leaving only htc's wallpapers

-Stock Office Mobile 2007 (There was an issue adding the office 2010 in the rom, any help appreciated)
-Disabled STK service only few users use it.

First, you need to download the SSPL ROM Flashing Wizard from here
After that, select the rom that has the most suitable language and version from the folder:

Language Codes:
0407 = German Language
0408 = Greek Language
0409 = WWE Language
After you have downloaded and tested a Rom, please post back your experience with my rom. This way, it will be a lot easier to track and correct all the issues.

How to flash
*After you have downloaded all the necessary files from the 1st post, put the two files together (the sspl flash .exe file and the NHB file).
*Then run the .exe file. Make sure your running it with administrator rights or it will not work.
*Click the check box and hit next.
*Then, you need to be sure you have at least 50% battery left on the device, connect it via usb to activesync mode. Remember that the device should be on in the whole flashing procedure. Once done, hit next
*After the computer has veryfied your current rom version, hit the update button.
*Hit next and again next.
*You should now see a dialogue on the computer screen about the % of the flash completed. On this step, a box may appear on the device indicating that a file called enterboatloader wants to run. Touch Allow or whatever similar. This MAY happen if you have the original htc rom installed on the device.
*Now the flash will start. DO NOT interact with the device, because if something goes wrong, you will brick your device.
*When it reaches 100%, a message will appear on the pc indicating successfull installation of the rom. In this step, the device will restart and it is ready for use.

How do I enable the Facebook Tab on the HTC Sense?
In the start menu, there is an icon called FixStartManila. You need to hit this icon twice, because there is a little bug. After you press it twice, restart the device. To disable, navigate in the Rearrange Tabs in Settings.
Note: After you have enabled Facebook Tab, the FixStartManila icon in the Start menu is useless and can be deleted...
How do I apply the violet wallpaper in Home Tab on Manilla (for those who are not so experienced with the HTC Sense)?
On the home tab, touch Menu, Home Wallpaper, weather wallpaper. You will find that wallpaper in this list. Select it and you are ready!
[FIXED]What is happening with the Black-violet theme in the specific version of a language rom?
Right now, I am having an issue with the WWE and ELL languages, in which the Black-violet theme for the Manila will not start . If you have any suggestions on what may be wrong, please PM me.

I uploaded some screenshots of my rom.
New version of my rom. I have removed the ULDR sector to free some space and from now on, my rom will come on 3 versions per language, one with the Cookies Home Tab, the other with the CHT removed and the other with the black-violet theme for the Manila only (see screenshots). Also added GERMAN Language! Try this out!

Can I use the defaut theme, when I use RUU_Signed_0407_1.3nohometab.nbh ROM? Because I like the original design and I don't want the black-violet theme.
Is it possible to deactivate Arkswitch?

Hello sorry for the delayed reply, but I was too busy with my job.
Regarding the version, I have uploaded 3 versions. The blackviolettheme rom has the violet sense theme, the hometab has cookies home tab v2 and the last named nohometab has all the ccustomization of other versions, but the stock htc theme. Choose the last If you don't like the violet them, but I'd suggest also to try cookies home tab vet, as its pretty much fast now.
To disable Arkswitch, run it, hit menu and then options. then disable the "Run on boot" and you are ready to go.
I am currently having a problem to download other language stock roms to develop and so I can't make other languages RIGHT NOW. I will make some in the future.
Actually my language plan is to go with French, then Italian and Spanish. So check this thread regularly.

This rom is for htc HD Mini, I have just included cookies home tab and edited the HTC Sense to fit all these. Just download the Cookie home tab version and start tweaking....
