[Q] update problem?

hi
i have milestone 2.1 and there is an update package available and it is about
27.8 MB but when i install it the phone will restart but the update fails
I've tried several times but no change ( the same problem )
so any solution ?

Have you rooted your phone? If yes, then you need to flash the orginal sbf to get the update installed. But it is probably a minor update patch. Could be the 2.1 update1. Where are you from?

you guided me to ( remember arabic roms )

Oh yes. I do remember. As i said, if you want any OTA download to work, you need to flash the original ROM without root.

Yes it does. The sbf's mentioned there are all official.
Anyway don't worry about the update. If you have update1, that's it. Froyo will be out anytime now.

me too. Please release P1010 asia rom ( HK / China /Singapore ) . Thank you much much !

There is no asia version rom for p1010 on that. I have check every where.

And Kies give me an error saying "This version of the device cannot be updated"
My current firmware version is pda:kf1/csc:kf1 (tgy). I need to update becaus I keep getting a lot of errors. And when I wipe it all data wont go away. it just keep comming back.

[Q] Galaxy SPlus problem

I was trying to update firmware through Kies and in between this period i unplugged my phone. it was bricked, but i took it to market and they installed the Gingerbread in my phone again
Firmware 2.3.5
Baseband I9001XXKPF
Kernel Version 2.6.35.7-pref ([email protected] 156 #1)
Build number GINGERBREAD.JPKP3
after this installation i am having some problem with the phone, WIFI is disconnecting again and again every 1minute. And phone is consuming more battery than before. Please help me, is there any fix for this problem????

Just flash the firmware again with odin

thanks for the reply, I am living in Saudi Arabia i selected the country "Saudi Arabia" from Sam Mobile, after selecting country i got this firmware pic attached! IS this default firmware, i mean the original gingerbread firmware which comes with the phone?
And how to install it again? i read that article on broodplank, but usage of odin is different than i found on XDA.
please advise, shall be very thankful to you all!

Sorry i forget to post this picture, this list has all firmwares for Middle East countries, I am confused now and don't know these firmwares will be in English Language OR not? I mean i don't need Arabic Firmware (Gingerbread in Arabic) because i don't know Arabic :s

I love the 1969 date (year when UNIX had beed developed) I would try the first one.

The 1969 thing is probably because somehow the time wasn't set properly, so it probably defaulted to -1 or something like that. Let 0 be the first of January 1970 (Unix epoch as Jacol82 said) and -1 is in December 1969

All I can tell you that when my phone was delivered a week ago and after setting it up,first thing i did was search for updates and that update showed up.
So i cant really tell you anything about improvements but the phone seem to be runing quite fast with no stutter.
Mobile network works fine,Wi-Fi seem also good.
NFC I don't use,and also haven't used BT in ages.

You need to be on stock recovery to flash it

My htc one mini 2 is all stock. Software number is 1.16.61.2 and my fon cant to update software. When I enter the software update writes there are no update available for your phone.

On T-813 you can flash any stock rom from any country, it will work fine.

Thanks.. but when i am trying it shows some version error.. like i am downgrading the OS.. Can you inform from where i can download the UK or US Stock ROM. instead of SAM mobile portal which is ugly slow.

How are you flashing the firmware?
What version of Android are you in and which version did you download and trying to flash?
Link of the download source?
