A collaboration of the work of Heefy and Luiggi delivers version 1.1 which now supports QVGA 240x320 resolution in Portrait and Landscape modes.
Mods include:
• Three Menu tab (Now, Start (Programs) and Contacts.
• Now Professional and Classic Screens with direct access to the Agenda, Phone Profiles and Comm Manager.
• Weather Page with new graphics.
• Time Page replacing the original digital clock with alarms, appointments and Calendar.
• Main Menu (9 Icon Programs Menu)
• Speed Dial (9 Contacts and Phonebook) and revamped Contact Detail page.

We are looking forward to people moding this theme with new icons, backgrounds, clocks etc. Please feel free to show us what you have done here in this thread.
To help with mods I have attached the graphics source files below. Two files are attached, both in zip compressed format, one for Portrait and the other for Landscape. Each layer of the graphic has a different screen of the theme within it. Use the layers palette to select the appropriate layer/screen and mod away to your hearts content.
You may need the font that is enclosed as part of the theme in the posts above this one. The graphics are in PSD format.

Unzip "Portrait Detailed Weather.zip" and replace your existent Weather.xml with the new one in the qa_Layouts.dat and same way for Separator2.bmp in the qp_bkg_now.dat Don´t forget to rencrypt your zip files before rename it as .dat
The weather "Settings" button is now located at the top bar beside the profile icon, the "Update" button was removed.

Multiple Contact Pages
It would be great if you could do like the RomMod theme where they have multiple pages of Contacts. I use that so I can group my photo speed dials based on Friends, Family, Work, etc.
I like the work though!

Looks pretty good, going to test drive it now.

If you have a gsm touch pro, then you can flash NRG's rom with it. There's some oem's available for cooking your own rom, but they haven't been resized at all that I know of.(still wvga instead of vga)

did you change the notification bubbles? for texts and emails and such

not yet but it surely will be done..
as showaco said you can flash an NRG rom
anyway, im gonna start doing some progress right away..i think i make the selections a bit darker. When i pump up the light on my phone it looks a bit more grey than black, so i'll fix that

i changed every icon to a glossy black and it looks much better
im now adding some last changes
then i will update the thread/screenshots and i will post a download link

Looks like hte gray highlight has been changed to black. I like that option better. I also like how some of the screens are white with black font, then the highligh is black with white font... very professional looking.

you are right...well basically i thought the first was black as well but after i turned my baccklight sttings up i saw that it was grey
i just flashed the newest rom and i see that some manila files have been changed..i have to fix some stuff and i will add the download right away

Alecs Windows-Phone-7 Taskbar Icons W/VGA WM6.5/6.5.X [June 20 update!]

WARNING: installing this taskbar implies a risk of rendering your taskbar inoperable (especially if you have a stock rom on your device), which leads to impossibility to access the start menu to remove it. To avoid this, go to post #3, read it and install the attached cab.
JUNE 20 UPDATE: added new cab -Alecs WP7 Taskbar V2.0- built with HD2 files. This cab works both on WM6.5 and 6.5.X and on most devices (theoretically). This time I added CDMA and other specific icons. You'll notice that all the icons in V2.0 have rounded corners (this suits better with the actual skinning trends on XDA). To get the volume icon working, download Volume Fixes V2.zip and install the appropriate cab inside. Please note that is still in TESTS! And don't forget to post your feedback!

After almost 4 weeks of work on this project I managed today to finally take out the first cabs. I'm pretty sure this is gonna look good on your phones, it does on mine. Though I don't particularly like WP7 themes, I must agree that their light blue tone really looks good on a pitch black background, so I decided to set this blue-square look on the taskbar.
INFO (read carefully)​
This is a work in progress! Some icons (not many) are not skinned yet; further skinning is scheduled, but for now my work focuses on adapting the icons for W/QVGA. CDMA users will have to wait a few days for an updated cab, as I did not had the time (and patience) to draw the cdma icons for this release. Some of the icons were created by modifying images available on the web, thus credit goes to their authors. Please, do not post questions like "Will this work on my X device?", just try at your own risk and find out if it does; it's hard for me to know the effects of these cabs on different roms and devices. Due to the current rom abundance it's impossible to create an universal taskbar cab file and to make all users happy. I cannot be held responsible for any eventual damage or disfunctionalities following the installation of my cabs.
HOW TO INSTALL​
1. If you have a custom taskbar installed, uninstall it first and reboot.
2. Download and install the cab that matches your OS (WM 6.5 has the start icon on the upper-left corner, WM6.5.X has the start icon on the bottom-left corner), then reboot. Though the cab contains the certifications, it's safer for you to first install sdkcerts.
3. For WM6.5.X- after the installation there's a chance your volume icons won't get skinned (or the volume area will not respond to touch). In this case you must identify your version of HTCVolumeControl.dll (you can find it in the Windows folder using Resco Explorer or Total Commander, but be sure you uncheck the "Hide hidden files" option first). Then download the appropriate VolumeFix cab from post #2, install it and perform a reboot.

HTCVolumeControl.dll versions:

In order to prevent the imposibility to access the start menu and reach the "Remove programs" option to uninstall my taskbar if it didn't work for you (and your taskbar disappeared), install the attached cab. It sends a shortcut to start menu in your start menu (sounds weird I know), so you can place this shortcut as a sense quicklink (see the screenshots). This way you'll still be able to go to start menu if your taskbar doesn't respond.
HD2 users can remove my taskbar by going to Programs Manager via Sense 2.5 settings tab.
Note: I'm not the author of the exe file used in this cab (this exe opens the start menu), and unfortunately I can't remember who the author is. But the credit goes to him, whoever he his.

Edit - Unsuccessful here on my HD2 running Miri's v17.0 Rom. Made sure I had the sdkcert installed then installed the 6.5.x cab and the only icon that shows up is the Bluetooth icon. It did not render my device inoperable though so I was able to uninstall without issue.

Not working on my HD2 German Stock ROM 1.66.407.1.
All taskbar icons disappear and I can't access start menu after installing this.
Uninstall worked at least.

Oh, @Etihad, I forgot to mention that this is for WWE roms only. I'll update the first post with this info. However, there is a fix for this, read below:

If this sounds complicated then post here with the name of that file in the windows folder of your device example shellres.192.dll.0409.mui or whatever it is then I can post a cab fix here!

QVGA version is coming soon; almost all icons were resized, but some of them must be build from scratch, as resizing makes them too blury.

Very glad to see your work here. As we spoke on other forums, I can hardly wait to test the WQVGA version, and maybe include it in my roms, with your permission, of course (but we already discussed about that ). But, you don't have to rush this, just take your time and get the best of it.
I could use the blue WP7 style cursor also on my Omnia.

it didn't work well on my omnia 2 wm 6.5.3
only the time appears..

Omnia, Omnia 2 and other non-HTC devices have different dll structure, so it's normal for this to not work on these devices. I updated the first post with this info. I'm working on a dedicated cab for Samsung Omnia, but I can't promise anything for Omnia 2 (different resolution, different dlls, allot of work for replacing all the resources).
To those who try the cab and it doesn't work, please specify:
- your device
- your ROM (6.5, 6.5.X, build, version, author)
- the nature of the problem (taskbar dissapearance, misalignments etc)​

Intro:
Why the name CHT Artwork. All skin parts, theme adds and the other artwork here in this thread will be conform to all the
other apps of CHT for now and for the future versions. Further we use mostly CHT graphics that are done once, but also
new once. I hope that i can publish more and more artwork stuff for you, the user.
That all, because we are all a little bit co0kie fanatics [CF], i think. That is not bad at all, or it is?
For the CF i will create a new logo. The idea for this comes from MichelDiamond. This new logo will also
published here.
The CHT Artwork that will be published here, is useable on every WVGA device in first line. I will also publish more things for
VGA and/or QVGA devices. But i know, that we will have many good work from you, the user, so long your are conform to the
base line. That means for the roiginal stuff the colors, font's and possible the way of working. About that, please read the
introducing in every posting, so far as present, because there can be some important information about the cab files or any
other CHT infomations.

At first i was thinking to start with the version v1.0. But after a while i have changed my mind to be more conform with the other
things around CHT. So i will start here with version numbering on 2.0.0.0. Every cab file will start with CHTA_, followed by the
version number and then the name. At the end you will find things like CHTA_v2.0.0.0.startup_ani.cab.

1st startup animation for CHT
A while ago i have given myself a big present after a very well done job in Kuwait. My choice was a new graphics workstation for my animation work. After i had installed the whole system, three days later , my first idea was to give back something to Co0kieMonster for his very amazing work. An idea was born. After my work to collect all the impressive graphics and some PM's with co0kie and MichelDiamond, the worksheet was clear.
Because that i/we will be a little bit conform to our mother HTC (buuuh ), i have used the original startup screen. At the end i have created a homage to Co0kieMonster. A little thank you for all the endless hours of work, energy drinks and last but not least coffee and tea. But also the team has given parts of his work to this here. And so i will say thank you also to the CHT beta and development team members.
But now enough the words. See for yourself what i have done...
The startup animation with soundfile. Not to hear now, because you have to use it on your phone .
At the end you will find the cab file for the startup -animation, -sound and -welcomehead (192).
The welcomehead.png and the welcomehead.921.png graphics that i have used,
is a part of the cab file too.

Introducing:
In the cab file i had to change the GifSpeed value in the registry. But only a small
chaning because the animation speed. HTC have used a different value on the HD2.

Ok MrBeOTP2,
but please be conform, and please don't change the co0kiemonster graphic. Possible you post your work later here in the thread, then other users can have the same fun . You can extract the co0kie graphic out of the last ani file. For the original one i have to search, because my company dropbox is away at the moment, grrrr (look at the avatar). So i have to use my own one for the rar file. Sorry for that it will be fixed later when the right dropbox is up again.

Almost 300 sharp vector icons to suit .sencity theme
Have you seen the superb new .sencity theme by _LeCiel_? It's clean, simple and STUNNING!
But some bits are not quite finished yet and like many of you who have tried it and are hooked on the look, I am impatient and want more- and want it NOW! My old program icons looked like a dogs breakfast sitting next to the slick .sencity design and it was already driving me nuts - and LeCiel had only released the theme the week before!
So I got all fired up and put this icon pack together and now my phone looks almost all .sencity. I now walk taller, my teeth are much whiter and now a single look from me makes the ladies go weak at the knees....
So this is the Roosticity Icon set – I hope you enjoy them!
LATEST UPDATE:
14th November, 2010
Major update- have completed all "Standard ROM" icons including settings folder. Covers all Energy(.sencity) HD2 Leo and Blackstone ROM icons- please let me know if I've missed any. Remember, this will also cover other (non Energy) .sencity ROMS and other Energy ROMS (Rhodium etc) except for the occasional icon which can be changed manually with JWMD etc. (I've focussed on Energy ROM simply because that's what I use).
Also, have now separated the zipped packs into "Standard ROM" and "Extra App" packs assuming the standard ROM packs won't require as much updating from now on. Don't forget you can use icons contained in the "Standard ROM" pack for any of your custom apps also, so have a look in both packs for what you need.

Minor update: Some corrections and additions. Standard ROM pack almost complete- some settings folder icons to come in next major update.
3rd November, 2010
Updated zipped folder to include all the "Standard ROM" icons included in the cab plus a stack of icons for additional programs. Includes extra icons Lycox has contributed up to this date. Now almost 200 icons in total.
2nd November, 2010 (Melbourne Cup Day)
Completed icons for apps that are selectable through Cookies Home Tabs and put in to a CAB. This CAB also covers all start menu icons apart from icons in settings folder.
HOW TO LOAD ICON SET:
A) CAB
1. Copy cab file to your SD Card or phone and run it. The cab will replace the standard start menu icons that come with most ROMs.
2. You will need to clear the HTC Sense icon cache to update the icon links in Sense, and then soft reset. (Use either JWMD as below point B.3, or there's a small utility to do this called SICC (Sense Icon Cache Clearer), or manually by deleting all .png files in ProgLauncher folder (Application Data>HTC>ProgLauncher).
3. There may be a few left over that need to be changed manually with JWMD due to ROM and icon naming differences. Icons for extra applications that you have loaded will not be replaced automatically, so match an icon from the zipped file to your application and change manually with JWMD.
4. If you want to change back to your original set-up, simply un-install Roosticity from your Remove Programs menu (this won't remove icons changed with JWMD- you will need to remove those ones with JWMD)
B) MANUALLY or with JWMD Icon Changer
You can manually rename and copy and paste icons into the correct locations, but I used JWMD Icon Changer to do mine initially, so below describes that method.
1. Download the ZIP from the link below and copy the extracted folder somewhere on your SD card.
2. Use JWMD Icon Changer to replace the existing icons (read instructions from that thread on how to do it- it’s simple)
3. Clear HTC Sense Icon Cache. (JWMD has a feature to clear the HTC Sense icon cache under Menu> Tools> HTC Sense Tools> Clear Icon Cache.)
4. Select yes to Soft Reset.
5. DONE!
BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD: STRICTLY NO DOWNLOAD MIRRORS- provide a link to this thread on XDA instead . Plus- use your THANKS button if you get some use out of these!

Re new icons yes there will be more, but I don't get chunks of free time regularly so can't promise it will be regular and fast! However, I'll add a request list to the first post which will hopefully make it easier for others out there to help add to and improve this pack.

Very nice iconset. I really like that you even payed attention to the white inner-border and tried to make the icons as close to the CHT icons from .sencity as possible.

use CSMI and SICC to change icons, manually.
This gives you the possibility to mix and match icons, since atm not all icons of (for example) EnergyRoms are present.

Thanks it's great to know you like it- I'm chuffed! And yes it's those little details that make the .sencity design look great. (It's much easier to copy a good design style than to create it though)

I'd have no problems with that of course, but in any case if not then at least this set of icons will be there to add some extra options and to cover extra apps etc.

Just for information: I'm currently working on some additional icons. Hope to release them soon.

hey, can anybody share the psd file and/or write a quick tutorial how to create icons for the .sensity theme? i think that would be best as some gusys (me for example) use apps, that maybo nobody else use (as duden, pons, pschrembel, langenscheidt, oxford).
plus we would have a very huge collection.
