rooted N1 became unrooted after upgrading to FRF85b

My n1 was rooted for over 3 months. Yesterday I used to upgrade my device to FRF85b and everything is running properly. Then I try to use the app "market enabler" to buy apps from paid market, the app respond to me that my device was not rooted so cannot perform the market enabler function. Any clue on this? Thanks!!

Wifi Tether 2.0.5 pre3 test3 on Fresh 2.1.2 CDMA Hero

I updated my SU Permission to 2.2.2, and updated my Wifi Tether to 2.0.5 pre3 test3, but I can't seem to get the tether to connect anymore. It used to just fine before.
Any speculation as to what I could've done wrong, or a way to fix it?

[Q] Need Help adding ad hoc connection to Galaxy Tab

I'm a newbie here and need help adding the ad hoc connect option to my Galaxy tab. I've already installed z4root (it's complete) and I purchased Busybox from the market and installed. My issue - I have know ideal how to use Busybox to push or anything (I'm a first timer).
Also, prior to installing Busybox, I tried to copy and paste the wpa.supplicant file in the system/bin folder and only received errors. I have the Superuser and Root Explorer. I found the post with what appears to be instruction for Busybox. However, I don't have a clue to what it meant. I'm really green here - can someone provide the beginners version in using Busybox to setup the ad hoc?
Thanks,
I have a Sprint SGT. Since the OTA update to EA24 I have been unable to get AdHoc WiFi working again. I rerooted (using SuperOneClick) successfully and replaced wpa_supplicant again but no Ad Hoc servers are showing up. I am sure I am rooted (via RootCheck and the fact that I can use Wireless Tether for root users) but I still cannot see Ad Hoc Wifi servers. Anyone else in the same boat?

Wow man, thanks for the warning, I'm using my Galaxy Tab ad-hoc(ed) to my Xperia X10 using Wifi tether, since I use this for my college project you are a life saver.
Now, does anyone knows how to kick off the update alert? I'm kind of pissed of it showing every 10 minutes.
Its working!!
I was successful in getting the adhoc connection to work with my verizon galazy pad.........

What I did was go ahead and try to install the update. The update stops with an error on my tab because of my wpa suppliment. The update alert goes away. This works for me so use at your own caution.

This issue ever resolved?
Will this patch enable adhoc wifi on a Sprint Gtab running GB?
(yes)
Well I took the leap and did this wpa_supplicant patch on my Sprint Gtab running GB, and it WORKS. Very good, now I can do 3G via the WM Wifi Hotspot app. Presumably any adhoc wifi source will work now, like Windows Internet Sharing, etc.

Wifi tether not working (902)

okay after i came from hell and back to get my phone to update and rooted, I installed wifi tether and hacked the settings.db file and for some reason its not working this time. is there a way to wifi tether with .902 or is there an alternitive?
Not sure why you needed to make changes to settings.db. I grabbed the latest tether apk from here and, once rooted with the new method on .902, wifi tether just worked. No other changes were needed.

Wifi not working after rooting

Did you use the same root image of your version? What's your build number and what's the root file you have used?
