Would anyone be interested in a Themed BlackPad variant that would look like the attached photo?
Like all my ROMs, it would have a clean setup, nothing useless. It would be optimized for both speed and memory and stability. It'd just be a variant of my CleanROM.
Yes, killed, the "glossy" look but I like it that way. It would have HTC Album replacing the standard picture app, and a few other things... I'm just brain storming. I might release it along with my Kitchen whenever I find all the bugs with my current CleanROM beta. But for that to happen, I need people to HELP ME TEST IT!!! lol
Anyways, this ROM will be completely themed. It will have everything (or everything I can) looking black with as little white as possible. (Except for the white letters of course.) All backgrounds and all will be black.
There would be a Herald version and a Wing version.
I have a few apps in mind...
When PointUI becomes more stable and allows skinning, this will extend that way.
im interested, my home screen on all of my devices is black.
maybe you could include ui tweaker with the latest .sys
I think it is slammin. I will help test it for you. I have a tmobile wing. Right now I have open touch on it and I am looking everyday for bigger better things! I would love to put my 2 cents in it.
I will definatley help you test it if you would like and I think using HTC Album would be very awesome and not to mention all the black it will look flush oh and that point ui thing seems pretty promising but judging from the skreenshot it wouldn't be too missed because that home skreen looks [email protected]
I think thats a very good idea. The photo looks great, I really like the icons. I will help you test. I have been using pointui for the past couple of days and its actually pretty dang close to being ready to go. The creators are very active in making fixes for it and there are only a couple of issues that I have found. Have you found a way to skin it?

That looks great bro,
A really simple monochromatic skin for Windows Mobile (Phone) 6.5, cab's fully uninstallable. Works with VGA/WVGA and QVGA/WQVGA, just download the correct resolution (without the W). Enjoy.
While I do realize that both versions could be installed from one Cab, I've chosen not to do this to avoid cluttering devices (especially those with small internal storage) with unnecessary files which are not fit for their resolution. My theme releases will be 2 separate cabs (maybe 3 if I ever figure out this square thing...).

May 7, 2009 - Fixed bubble/toast bug in (W)QVGA version and updated installers hardcoded to device (just to bypass nag in installation).

Does anybody else have the 'rainbow effect' towards the top of the screen? Does it show some blue, green and red as the color tries to transition... or maybe my backlight is up to high?

Too bad nobody remembers 'bout square screens (320x320) of Treo and i780
Square QVGA should work just fine seeing as 320x320 on the TreoPro and the i780 are still both 192 DPI, save for the background. I could resize the background and cab up a square one for you if you'd like, but try the QVGA one first and let me know if it works.
EDIT: What's the DPI for the Square 320x320 devices? I'd love to get you a theme if you can get me the resources from a working Classic Blue theme...
EDIT2: Thanks to bnm7bnm, I've found an issue with the QVGA cab, in that if you click on the signal strength indicator, battery icon, any of the top icons looking for a status pop-up window, it shows the old-style notifications, instead of WM6.5-skinned style. Working on a fix and will update when available.
Speaking of bugs, anyone (AdamNimrod) having the rainbow effect: can you try and take a screenshot with a program like CapSure or something similar and see if the rainbow effect still shows up. I don't really know what your talking about, but the screenshot would help, and also identify if its an actual rendering issue or an optical illusion.
PS: I'm working on a Glossy Black theme roughly using a glossing effect similar to Windows 7, but trying to keep it classy and not look like it's "trying too hard". Its coming down the pipe, but I just got out of finals at the University of Florida, and start an internship soon, so it'll be here when it gets here.
For WM6.5 square screeners there is only 96dpi
The attachment contains the slightly modified theme - I've added the 320x320 wallpaper.

as there are only few touch based apps for managing tasks (office tasks) in the windows mobile world i tested the few i got to know and ended up using GekoTask for now.
GekoTask does everything i want in an easy enough way. The only down side is, that the available skins do not fit my needs.
As an user of an HTC Touch HD i started to love the EnergyRom with the build in GTX Theme. And now as the GTX Theme development will be continued i closly follow their progess.
GTX Sense 2.5 Theme
To cut a long story short, i wanted my GekoTask to fit theses style so i made a Theme on my own.
I used many of the excellent graphic works from the members of GTX Team. So if anyone has a problem with my work please just pm me.
To install just put the theme in the skin folder of the GekoTask app folder. Select the skin via options and restart GekoTask.
If there are any bugs or problem please report them in this thread i will fix them as soon as possible.

Long long over due- though here is a preview for my JMLToday based Skin/Titanium Theme-
Uses the JMLToday plugin to update and display most dynamic notifications, dates, appts, and so forth, as well as some modded & custom CHome plugins.
More or less this is a preview and call for help >.< Looking for anyone good with JMLPanex, Mortscript, and familiar with the JMLToday 5.70 plugin- as only half the links work and hoping a fresh set of eyes might help identify the problem!

Previews look amazing. Would be a good alternative to Sense and other WP7 today screens out there. Hopefully it performs well.
it's a shame it only works on 6.5....will a 6.1 version be available ? At the moment i'm using sense 2.1 but the wp 7 skin looks great
would really want to try it out. hope it is not too heavy on the memory usage.
SMS/Email/Contacts
I understand it is a [SKIN][THEME] so will it go deeper and will we actually have a different SMS/Email/Contacts theme like Windows Phone 7? I personally am not a fan of SENSE SMS skin and like the original WinMo or the new WinPho7 stylings more so.
Aside from that I am very eager to your release!

Hi all. So lately i've seen nice lockscreen sliders but i couldn't find any .cabs or _manila files to use them, that is why i created my own. They are preety simple(i like that way) but fit nicely to the screen. Both are for WVGA devices cause i own one. Ok so first of all You need to have CHT 2.0 installed and CHT lockscreen enabled. Then You have to choose which one You want to use. first one is a HD mini style, the other one is Manila style. I don't take any credits for them. Hope You will like them.

Well this might be a bit tricky cause i don't have any WQVGA device and the proportions for the image will be different so i'm not sure if i'll be able to archieve satisfying effect
