I'm looking for specifically korean font support that would actually work with Media Player and Media Experience Panel. I have korean font support, but it doesn't work with the said um programs. I think this is the same for a lot of languages if I'm not mistaken...
I've read a lot of threads and posts and I think it's safe to say a lot of people are having related issues?
So.......if anyone can help it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hi all,
I stumbled across you guys while searching for a solution to a niggle I have with my new Diamond (more on that in a mo) & I'm chuffed having come across such a wealth of advice! I do feel like abit of a fraud though, as a developer I am not :/ Still, I've followed your tips for tweaking the Diamond, but I have just one little prob,
Here it is...
I'd like to access the music on last.fm but I can't. Is it possible or am I expecting too much from my device?
Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help/ point me in the right direction <(^O^)>
Loz
Thanks. I've sorted it now.
I'm just wondering what you mean by 'access the music'. Do you mean listening to last.fm on your device, or just scrobbling your music? There's a Pocket Scrobbler for WM devices, and it supports the TouchFlo 3D audio player. See the group here:

Hi,
Yep thats what I went for in the end. This my first pocket PC/ smart phone (whatever they're called) & I naively thought the browser would let me click on tracks to listen to them, as per a full blown browser
Still pocket scrobbler is a fantastic app! You'll already see me in the groups shout box
Thanks for looking maybe I'll see you round Last.fm.
Piscisvisio.
I just want to put this idea out there. ( I don't have enough posts to post in developers forum either)
Do you think it would be possible to share an Android phone's camera(or iphone etc) with the Nook Color over bluetooth for using with Video Chat applications?
I know bluetooth still has issues to be worked out but this is pre-empting that. Skype video for android will be available soon as there are already some pre-release versions floating around.
I'm sure alot out there already have smartphones with basic cameras that would be suitable for webcam quality calls, I have a cheap ideos u8150 for example, and this would really complete the Nook Color's functionality superbly.
Just wanting to put the idea out there, hopefully some clever developer will see this and take the idea on. If this has already been discussed - please point me to the posts.
Cheers
Ben

Hi I'm a NOOB (btw loved the video) and have a couple of questions of the SME's here that I haven't been able to find an answer already posted here.
I just purchased a HTC Incredible S phone. Love the phone BUT ... I sync'd music using the HTC software with WMP v11. Now for some reason it didn't copy all my music over, although its all setup legitimately in WMP. I was able to move the files over doing a copy/paste once I found the correct host folder on the HTC drive. The missing files play now. What WON'T play are what I suspect are WMA DRM protected audio files. And I have read here they won't.
I'm curious why? I have an old Sony Walkman and it's software imports the DRM license to play on that device fine so whats missing from this "incredible" phone?
Is the only way of getting them to play is to convert to MP3 (stripping them of the license)?
I found this //drm-removal.net/player-tips/transfer-itunes-m4p-music-to-htc-evo-desire.html product that does that. Does anyone have any experience with this?
It bothers me that I need to remove a valid license to play this music. I would have hoped that the smart phone would have been as smart as the Sony Walkman for this
Guess I'll answer my own question for the benefit of others. I ended up purchasing DRM Removal from iSkySoft and it did the trick. Easily creates MP3's for you from your WMA files and has conversion feature for video to play on the HTC phones too ... added bonus it formats to the correct resolution for your phone too. (I don't work for the company ... just trying to help others as there seems to be a lot of questions at this forum but seldom answers... and as I'm not permitted to post the URL please PM if you want it or google it.)
Thanks for posting your fix, may well be of help to others.
Hello all,
I have recently created a new XBMC Remote App because well I like programming
It's cheaper than the ones available and works with XBMC 10.0+. I have created some extra featurs that I thought would be useful which weren't present in the other apps.
Pictures:
The app has full support for pictures, you can download them from XBMC right to your phone, watch a slideshow on your phone and have extensive controls when playing them on the Media Center, like zooming and scrolling ....
Library updates: With one click of the button you can update your music / video library
Subtitles: A button is available to open the subtitles window and select the subtitle you'd like (very handy for us non-native english speakers)
Furthermore, all the basics are available: browsing libraries, remote control, ...
Please let me know iwhat you think of it and if you have any good ideas about new features, requests. I'd be glad to work out something.
Here's the deep link to the application in Zune: windowsphone.com/s?appid=9a2f8f94-5dae-e011-a53c-78e7d1fa76f8
Looks good, lots of nice features, would really like to trial it first though, it's quite important for apps like this.
Can you view the most recent movies, tv episodes? Can you pull up info on the currently playing media?
Thanks for the hard work!
Hello,
I have just submitted an update with trial mode enabled. It should be available in a few days. There's a now playing feature and in the next release I have some extensions planned on that.
Currently there are no recent items collections, but I'll add it to the feature requests and I think I'll be able to add it to the next version as well.
If you can, please check out the trial version and let me know what you think.
(The trial version has complete functionality but it only shows you a few items)
Many thanks in advance.
Does this app have the gesture-mode for the arrow-keys?
Used the android-one before, never got used to the normal key-mode.. you always have to look at your phone...
because of that i still use my android-device for remoting my XBMC Notebook...
Hello,
Gesture mode is not included in this version. I'll take a look whether I can fit it in the next release though.
In a few days an update should appear with a trial-mode so you can try out the remote. I have focussed a lot on the usability of the remote and made large buttons which have audio and/or haptic feedback so you still might like it.
Sorry, we don't allow paid apps here.
Hi,
I'm a Galaxy Mini user and now are almost 3 years I am using this phone.
I have flashed and enjoyed so many roms in this forum and I have been very excited about the developement of first CM9, CM10 and now CM11.
I think CM9 is the highest upgrade that our mini can reach having good performances and sufficently new stuff and interface, however, for my needs, cm7.2 is still the most stable and efficient android version, with the best battery life and performances compared to all others.
I don't really feel the need to have a newer Android version and, yes, I'm happy with this low-end phone.
The only thing I really would like to understand and the only reason which keep me looking at CM9 is the native flac support.
I think this is the only lack of gingerbread, if this could be supported, I would definitely go for that.
Now, I know there are 3party player and also that Cm7.2 player plays flawlessy FLAC files, but the problem is not with local files, stored on my SD, but with DLNA support.
The only application i found that can stream FLAC files from my NAS is BubbleUpnp but is really too heavy and cpu-stressing, making phone quite unusable.
UpnPlay was perfect and very lightweight, it was exactly what i needed but under gingerbread is unable to stream FLAC files due to unsupported file type, while on CM9 can.
Mp3 files are streamed perfectly also in cm7.2, obviously, but it is quite impossible and also absurd to have the whole media library on my server both in FLAC and mp3 format when it could be possible just to keep the highest-quality format one.
It's not a matter of quality, I know my phone wouldn't take any kind of benefict in sound quality, good music can be listened only on an axcellent hi-fi system, but of practicality.
So, is there anyone that can tell me if there is a way to implement the native support of this files? Any mod/engine? It would be very important.
I know that some others phones have customs cm7 builds with this kind of feature built-in, so I think should be possible to add the support to versions of android under 3.x, as Gingerbread.
Thanks in advance and I would really appreciate you if can give me some informations.
