I'm at a conference and on my hero. Installed a new rom but don't have the market. Anybody have a zip file for me?

I don't have a zip, but you can search google for the apk, and install via astro, which you can also find through google. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Change fonts on HTC hero

Does anybody know how to change the fonts on the hero? Does anyone have a flashable file? I tried the one in the hero develooment section someone put up but it didnt work... my fonts stayed the same.... any help is appreciated.

Installing a theme cant figure it out

Ok so i need little help with this. I want to install this one theme, i got all the apks nessesary but i know u cant install them as regular apks so what should i do? Could i put them all into a zip file and flash with cw?

Revert CWM 3.0.0.5 to CWM 2.5.0.1

How do you revert CWM 3.0.0.5 to CWM 2.5.0.1? When I try to flash CWM 2.5.0.1 using Rom Manager I get an error.

Did you at any time rename the 2.5 file? If so, undo that. If it isn't that, check out page 350 of theimpaler747s ask me your hero questions thread.

Just flash it from Terminal Emulator or ADB.

rom manager app in the market will do this.

xda search/google = win. try searching in the future, then you won't have to read replies like this one, but better yet you don't have to wait for a reply.

Um, the OP said he was getting errors using Rom Manager to try to flash back to 2.5. So his best bet would probably be a terminal emulator or ADB

[Q] Software update issue

Last night I checked for software updates for my Revolution and saw there was one to update to VS910ZV7 but after I download the update it boots to the Clockworkmod screen. I've tried to apply update from SD but there is no file in there. I try to reboot and it tells me that the update failed or imcomplete. I have rooted the phone and still have the stock rom, V6. Am I doing something wrong? Do I even need this update?
I'm new to this forum and this is my first post so please be gentle lol.

V7 updates you to gingerbread if you want the update you have to put stock recovery back on the phone.

Here you can flash the update directly using these instructions:

Or you can flash a stock rom and do an OTA update.
I couldn't wait so I flashed the TOT immediately. Gingerbread makes the Revolution better. I'm curious to see ICS on it.

Appreciate the help. I was hoping there was a way to do it directly from the phone but doesn't look like I can. I'll give it a try when I get home.
Just curious though. Can I update it from the LG website? If not that's cool too.

You can do it all on your phone download the revo toolkit put stock recovery back on your phone then you can pull the update and install it

I went ahead and flashed zv7 directly using LGNPST. Now I can try gingervolt. Thanks for all the help guys.
