multi-shot mode on X1 - XPERIA X1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I just recently found out that X1 has multi-shot mode on it's camera. But I can't use it. I can't capture multiple picture in multi-shot mode. I can take picture using multi-shot mode but the result was multiple picture, it's only one picture.
Am I the only one encounter this problem?

just keep the camera button pressed

wow, i didn't know that, but is that the only way?
I though the multi-shot mode will capture several pictures in button pressed.

Camera hardware button on the device of Kaiser

Hello,
I got my device two days ago and all seems to work well. However, the hardware button that launches the camera application does not seem to respond when I click on it. Is anyone else experiencing this too? Is tyour camera application launching fine when you click on the camera hardware button found on the side of the device?
Thanks,
Gilbert
Half press or Full press...
The Camera has a setting that turns it on with either a Half press or a Full press of the side button.
It defaults to FULL so if you're at the Today Screen for example, Press it and then press it in MORE. That's the FULL Press.
Once you're in the camera, you can change the setting to turn it on with a HALF press of the button.

That is a lovely feature, How many times I take my Hermes out of the puch when I get a phone call and find that teh camera is on...
then, does the camera button of the kaiser work the same way as a shutter button in a photo camera?.... half press for focus, then it's focused, you can move the subject.... then full press for making photo?
Yes, that's exactly how it works. There is a rectangle in the middle of the screen that turns green when the image is in focus. After that rectangle turns green, push the camera button down further to take the picture! Great feature as long as you have a VERY steady hand, otherwise your picture will turn out blurry.

Focus with hardware keys (volume buttons)

Guys, i know this is not the place to post this, but i know at this place my post will draw your attention.
Pls, mods, devs and rest of you, can you check this mode for htc one? I think we could finally get rid of ridicilous lag on focus with this mode. C
Can someone port it?
Iv checked that mode myself on my friends HTC One, its ridicilous easy, with volume down key you get focus that LOCKS the focus range, and i think that will resolve our problems with autofocus bug.

Logo On/Off in photo mode?

Hi - prior to purchasing the Razer 2 , I read somewhere that there was a hidden key press combo that would activate the RGB logo in photo mode. Now after exhausting every combination of search terms I can think of, I'm still unable to find where the heck I read this info.
Is it possible? How is it done?
