I flashed a ROM without MMS and installed the MMS cab but the MMS config option doesn't appear in Messaging. I need to set the settings to send MMS. Is there a cab I can install to add this?
Use connection setup as AT&T will be in there and MMS will automatically be setup.
I already set up the connection settings but messages don't send. They must be configured in the messaging app but the option isn't there.

Ok, Like many, I have been using the threaded text messaging (Palm) on the Tilt for a few months now. As you all know, the MMS was built into the Tilt's text messaging app. So I had to install the 3 MMS files to enable MMS and ad this icon back into the mail folders. The 3 files are:
wpbear at&t proxy folders
arcsoft MMS enable
arcsoft MMS composer 4.2.8.1
When this is installed and then a soft reset is done, I can NOT get on mediaNet or use any application that uses mediaNet or the web. For some reason it just stopped working as of this morning. Anyone else having simular issues or have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Anyone on this? Do any of you use threaded text messaging on the tilt? I would be willing to try another one providing it had the MMS within it that worked unlike the palm one or even an alternative to keep the MMS within the windows mobile email section without having it attached to the text messaging.
Seriously, anyone elce using this config and notice that medianet stoppede working?
I can't seem to figure out where i need to change my MMS settings. I have the GPRS stuff working fine, but everytime I get an MMS it just quickly say that it has expired.
Any help out there?

Hi all, does anyone know how to change the order in which MMS / SMS omenu appears when I go to mail - New message - MMs / SMS. Today MMS appears before SMS and I wouyld like to change as 99% i writte SMS instead of MMS.

Open registry and go to "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\MsgTypes\IPM".
Rename key MMS to SMStext1
Rename key SMStext to MMS
Rename key SMStext1 to SMStext
After reset the SMS/MMS is switched and the correct forms are loaded but I havent tried sending messages.
Sorry, bad idea. This wont work correctly.

I've got a strange/annoying issue dealing with MMS messaging on my new Tilt.
Current goodies on the Tilt:
ROM: ShogunMark's Deathv4.1
3.55.502.1 WWE (6/15/08)
Radio: 1.65.20.29
SPL: HardSPL-3.56
As far as I can tell, I have all the current ATT network settings. I can send MMS messages, and anyone can receive them. I can send MMS to myself, and I can receive that. Another user on ATT can send me MMS. And I can send MMS to myself from my desktop email (using [email protected]). People on other networks (T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint that I've tested so far) cannot send me MMS. On their end, it shows everything being sent just fine, and they don't get any error messages. But I never receive the messages. Not even if they send the MMS to my phone's email addy from their device.
I talked to ATT support yesterday trying to verify the network settings, and the support rep couldn't even find what settings I was supposed to have. Though he did identify that a MMS enabled flag on my account was set to NO. He set that to yes, I reset the phone and reconnected to ATT.... and I still have the same issue. That network setting didn't seem to change anything.
I've read all the threads I can find about MMS issues, and none of them address this problem (at least that I can see).
At any rate, my current MMS server settings are as follows. Can anyone verify these for me?
Server name: AT&T MMS
Gateway: wireless.cingular.com
Port number: 80
Server address: http://mmsc.cingular.com
Connect via: MEdia Net
Send limit: 1200K

I have an att tilt and gullums throttle diamond I multi language rom...i installed arcsoft latest version and now i have the menu and mms options under the menu tab in messaging and can send mms now but not receive....ive also tried installing the MMS medianet settings cabs posted another thread and still cannot receive ..ive also tried sending msgs to myself which does not work but if i reply to one of my own mms messages that i tried to send and select mms (you can select mms or sms options to reply) and then i can receive one of my own but this is the only message i am able to receive.
It ended up that the MMS flag on my account (that the support rep reset) was the culprit (I think). Two days after he made the change, I received a whole mess of media messages. Since then, I've had no problems at all, even going through several different ROMs.
Give ATT support a ring and see if they can figure anything out.
Where can I change the settings for sending MMS? You must tell WM which access point to use etc. That was always possible in the dedicated Outlook SMS/mail program. How do I do that in TF3D? Right now, sending MMS doesn't work due to wrong network settings.
Found it myself.
You can access the 'old' POutook program through Start > Programs > Messages or something similar in the start menu (don't know, I have a dutch version). There you can access the MMS settings.
