LauncherPro allows you to use custom icons for the dock.
The default ones are okay:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But the default Froyo icons look so much cleaner, less chunky, etc:
Anyone have separate icons I could use? Tinted like they are in the picture?
The froyo looks like adw launcher...gives you different options than launcher pro.. I personally go back and forth between the two.
Is ADW still missing the 3D launcher? I don't really use too many of the extra features of either launcher. Never understood needing multiple docks and all that when we can go up to 7 homescreens. I have mine set up pretty much just like stock Froyo, with Leap enabled.

oke look at this shot.

on the left is the main dock of honeycomb theme i use for ADW EX.
on the right is the size dock for any custom dock i make(480x 41/72/84)
how in the hell do i get the bloody same small size as the honeycomb dock or stock ADW dock???
im using Photoshop CS 5 (64 bit)
I'm kind of confused by this, but if you want it to be smaller, leave some transparency at the top of the canvas. You should be saving it in .png format anyway, so this will make it shorter/smaller. I'm not sure if this is what you're asking, though...
Hi you all...
I fell in love with the Glasklart HD icons found in this thread created by master Telep. He has combined all his icons to a miui skin, but I don't like miui and would like to see an ADW theme with these beautiful icons.
Example:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I tried to make it myself, but after downloading and opening Eclipse I almost cried. Making an ADW theme using this program seems rocket science to me...
So I was wondering, would someone experienced in ADW themeing be so nice to make this theme?
A placeholder for now, and tested only by yours truly (NSCollab Sprint 1.0.60, ADW EX Launcher) but it's very easy and will allow you to keep your scrolling wallpaper. I'll update this after work.
Edit: LauncherPro is a no-go, bro. I'll monkey around inside the apk and see if I can't get to the bottom of this long-standing issue because frankly I love the hell out of this launcher.
Edit: Zeam runs just fine. With scrolling wallpaper, even.
Here's a screenshot in the meantime (NSCollab 1.0.60, ADW EX):

Hi
I was woundering if I can get a transparent Google seach widget for CM9? I googled and found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1307730 but it doesen't work for me. Anyone know how I can get a transparent widget?
Why not enable the one that comes with ICS/CM9 by default? If you ask me, its much more clean and sleek than the clunky widget too

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
I use ADW EX sense it runs much more smooth on my SGS and I don't want the search bar on the top row I want it on the 2:nd row from the bottom.
Ah, well in that case, I'm not so sure
Found some in market https://market.android.com/details?id=tiwiz.widget.icsbar&feature=search_result
Can anyone advise on the best launcher choice for dual-screen phones?
i had to search a while before i found a launcher that i felt worked well enough to use, because the stock one is pretty bad. Launcher 10 is kind of a metro UI launcher which might not be to some people's fancy but it scales instantly when switching modes and rotating and it has a lot of customization i haven't messed with. definitely more usable than the stock launcher

Just wanted to add that for the ZTE AM Z999 I am using the Microsoft Launcher Beta version which supports proper home screen rotation for dual screen in conjunction with Rotation Control app
