Hi everyone~
I'm worrying a bit about life and speed of SD card, I'm thinking, may I install all unprotected applications into SD card if possible? How is the speed of SD card compare to internal memory, and will that reduce lifetime of SD card?
Thanks a lot

So I was thinking about upgrading my sd card to a 4GB class 6.
Are there any recommendations? I have seen this for almost nothing
Samsung 4GB MicroSD Ultra Speed Class 6 Memory Card.
Is this going to improve performance on my phone?
At present I do not have a second partition so no apps2sd no compcache, no JIT - I don't have many apps so not much point in apps2sd as I thought it would be faster reading them direct from the phone.
Can you enable JIT without second partition?

Unless you read or write data on the card, increasing the speed of the card will have ZERO EFFECT.

That is my question though. Would it be worth getting a class 6 card and enabling SWAP, APS2SD etc as this would be writing to the card and reading.
There are class 10 cards available already. Those might give some extra boost!!!
Is there anyway to put apps onto your sd card. The reason i need this is when i run metamorph it runs test and says i do not have enough free space on my phone. so im thinking moving some apps to sd card will help. any suggestions?
2.2 Froyo will allow apps to SD.
still not a great idea because your phone will continuously read your external SD card which in turn will drain your battery much, much faster
Hi guys, I have Lenovo A7000 , it says it can only take 32gb SD card, but to be honest I want more storage xD , if I have unofficial rom can my mobile support higher? Like 64 or 128gb SD card?
The storage limit of the sd card depends on the device capability and hardware designed to the motherboard.
If you apply more than limit, it may work for a limited period of time but after that you will get the issue of Dead Memory card or Even sometimes damaged motherboard due to high load
PEACE OUT
I see, thanks
Im planning to get a high memory sd card for my p10 containing mostly music and movies, what do you guys think would be the best ideal sd card for my phone that will not make it slow and worse in performance? since i've read somewhere that adding sd card in the memory will somewhat slow the performance of the phone and will not be smooth as before.
theres only 500+MB left in my 64gb internal storage
Can't see how adding an SD card would slow it down but I've never had any issues with the Kingston MicroSD cards...
