The rom wont have them.. the htc roms apk is built on htc frameworks and sprints samsung moments apk is built on samsungs framework.. So having it on an aosp rom probably wont come any time soon.
If you want to do a PRL update you have to flash a sprint rom and update it and then nandroid back.

Update PRI/PRL CM6?

Anyway to do so in CM6 or do I always have to flash to another rom? Also, any possibility to get the device self help app on CM6? You can update prl/pri through there...
Device Self Service is just kind of a shortcut set -- it still has to use or access those actual Sprint/CDMA-based tools to update the PRL and profile.
And that hasn't been implemented in CM6 yet, or any AOSP or GSM-based ROM to my knowlege. I think because those Sprint apps/tools are closed source, it's really hard or even impossible to figure out how to make them work on anything but Sense and stock ROMs.

What ROM? If you're on CM6, DD, or ZenEXP, you won't be able to cuz the update PRL tool isn't in those ROMs.
yeah i know that part but what i am saying is the i went back to fresh, zen, even the stock ruu and i cant update my prl...maybe its sprint that wont let me... ( "drops on his knees and screams really loud "WHY") lol lol... is there a way to manually do it... if so please show me the way to salvation..
Try 'Update profile' in that same menu place.....that will refresh/update your data and phone profile for Sprint towers. Could be that after so much ROM flashing the data profile on your phone just got a little off. Then try updating PRL after that and it might work.
If it doesn't work, see this post here for how to manually update a PRL: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6798016&postcount=15 (ignore the quoted part at the top of that post, just read the reply underneath it)
You'll have to search the forum here for an actual PRL text file -- they are out there.

change PRL

Hello guys and thanks for any help.
i got a hero cdma non sprint, but i learn how to root it with u guys in xda.
i root a few hero's but by mistake y use a rom tha install a sprint PRL to the phone.
PRL its 60660 and need to change it to 03494 like my hero. the phone works but the signal its poor and evdo slow. there a way that i can use the PRL from my hero? i got AOSOMOD 0.9.9.2 with froyo.
ok i try to backup my PRL using QPST but when i have to ##3424# and then add the port USB/QC Diagnostic wont dectect it. if i remove detect the phone.
qpst have issues in win 7 x64? did have to do it in xp only thanks.
I think the easiest way is to nandroid backup what you have now... then wipe and flash a sense based rom ... then you can simply go into about phone and update prl like normal... then restore your backup

Manually Load PRL?
Is there not a way to download the latest PRL and manually install without having to go through the trouble of flashing ROMs back and forth? I'm surprised there's not an app for loading these yet.
For those of you looking for cutom PRLs or good instructions on how-to do either a manual update (not the system update in sense) or a manual downgrade, look in the thread by mattcrystal about PRL 60678, and the 2 threads about modded PRLs started by Bierce22.

I've actually never had any luck updating through QPST (it always throws back an error when writing to the phone). Were you able to get it working?
ive always had diag driver issues

I need assistance,please.

I recently gave my old hero(rooted and romed) to my sister in law and I forgot to set it to stock. She called Sprint before I could get my hands on it to fix it and now it's unrooted with a custom ROM and she can't connect it to their service. I tried downgrading it but I can't ,I keep getting an error(either usb disconnected or battery low)when they're not. What can I do to either get the phone fully stock or rerooted with a sense ROM?
Search for either the RUU or RUU/unroot zip using s-off. that'll bring you back to stock

Will do, thanks.
No good. It is S-on with a custom 2.3.7 rom and she can't punch in the # codes. Thr RUU gives me error170 or if I manually put it n H boot it tells me my main battery is under 30%. Any ideas?

All you need is a sense Rom to make those dialer codes work..
use liquid sense to activate over phone with sprint. Then once activated, update PRL and then flash whatever ROM you want her to use
good luck

[ROM][ICS][GSM-based] olegfusion's stock ICS cleaned ROM {19.08.2012 update}

Good day, people.
[V1]
I want to present my ROM for GSM users. Based on 215 ics leak.
Some info:
1. As much as I could - removed verizon things.
2. Fixed Mobile hotspot for GSM users. (if it still doesn't work, add dun to your APN type)
3. APNs for GSM users are integrated
4. Added Russian language.
5. Replaced Messaging.apk with SMS/MMS.apk from cm9, because standart messaging app is not sending mms.
6. Deleted normal apps that can be installed from market for free.
7. Removed verizon libs
http://d-h.st/vE3
+++++++++++++++++++++
[V2]
1. Based on 217 fastboot files
2. Fixed Mobile hotspot for GSM users and APNs for GSM users are integrated
3. Added Russian language to new 217 build files.
4. Saved Messaging.apk (but edited countrycode to 7 and max mms size to 512KB), but still can't understand - sometimes it sends MMS here, sometimes not. Added SMS/MMS.apk from cm9 as well, for sending mms.
5. Deleted normal apps that can be installed from market for free.
6. Removed verizon and several moto things (like hidden motoprint, for example).
7. disabled cdrom automount when you connect droid4 to computer.
8. can't remember
http://d-h.st/gs2
Flash as safe-system in safestrap.
p.s. donations are welcome :good:
This sounds good. Downloading now.
Did you remove QE from the boot process?

It's a piece of spyware that runs on boot. Hashcode posted about it here: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dr...6-16-206-ics-leak-safestrap-2012-06-17-a.html
and oh no on the brick.. what happened?
Your ROM seems to work fine BTW.. I'm no longer getting nagged to update a piece of Motorola crapware, and unlike the AOKP and CM9 ports I can actually make voice calls!
Ah well. Delete QETest.apk and QETest.dex from the /system/app before flashing. Hope it'll help
aye i like this rom, would there be any bad side effects if i was to flash this to my non-safe partition, as i am trying out things on my safe side all the time and want to use this rom as my main one.
this should really be a problem as we have fastboot files now (still little hazy on how these act different form when i had the G2).

this rom was made specially for saving non-safe system untouched. intall safestrap to non-safe system and use this one as safe system. you can anytime make nandroid backup of this system and restore after new leak will come.
Just want to add that this is a good ROM. Data seems to actually work better than in my stock ROM, and having all the APNs pre-installed is always nice. Haven't had anything break on me at all yet. It's nicely de-bloated, but still has everything important working, including webtop and HDMI output. I'm currently using it as my daily.
I just hope olegfusion can get their phone fixed easily as this one is worth keeping an eye on

Thanks. Just my addon is that if you'll see that hotspot is not working, edit apn: add dun to type field after comma.
I had more ideas to continue in next version (this brick thing is so stupid) and I'll start working on it once my second droid 4 will come here. It'll be earlier than I'll fix my bricked droid 4 (need ICS 4.0.4 fastboot files, I don't think they will come here before september). Sad that I needed to waste more money for second phone.
Have you tried the method used to move between ICS leaks, i.e. flash the kernel to the latest ICS but the ROM back to gingerbread, then use the Motorola recovery to install the ICS update script?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1714596
Sorry if i'm telling you stuff you already know, but that seems to be the only way to re-flash stock ICS from fastboot.

Sure. I even tried to flash razr's, droid 3 and made by myself files. Validation failure.
Is there any way to make the APN files available and install on the regular ICS leak. I am travelling to 3 different countries in Europe.

Download my firmware, use winrar or something like this and extract /system/etc/apn-conf.xml file. Replace by same path in regular ICS leak.
But if you're using Verizon wireless, compare files inside - you'll probably need to add verizon apns to my apn-conf.xml

Thanks. How does APN Config work? Is it an automated process that gets initiated once you put in the foreign SIM or is there a program that needs to be run?

Yes, it detects mnc and mcc parametres from SIM card that you insert and choose the right option from apns-conf.xml

Awesome. So I could just replace the original apn-config.xml file with your file once heading to Europe and then copy back the original xml file once I put back my verizon SIM?

Sprint HTC one prl issue?

I recently unlocked my bootloader and rooted my phone with TWRP using hasoons toolkit.
I can't seem to change my PRL when following the steps in the forum below I'm not sure what the problem is.
it does say the following "NOTE: This will only work on sense roms with epst support." I'm currently rooted but still on my stock rom, could that be the issue?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2296167
As the thread above suggested, I used Kernal Tuner to change the ro build type
like this
ro.build.type user
to
ro.build.type dev
I put a downloaded PRL file in the my phones storage and restarted my phone and when I attempted to use the dialer by typing
##778# nothing would happen.. No menu comes up or anything? what am I doing wrong?
Is there another way to change the PRL for the sprint HTC one? I'v been trying to figure this out for probably the past 2 hours. It's brutal
.
** I just also wanted to make a note, that when I change from "user" to "dev" after I restart, or shut down my phone and turn it on again
