SO I'm from the states and on T Mobile. My Xperia is just normal running on 6.1.
The problem is everytime i try sending pictures via text, the person i send them to would say they are too small. I don't compress them after taking them with the camera either. Also, when i receive picture texts, the pictures are also small. I would say that both times, the pictures are only about 3/4".
Has anybody experienced this before and is there a fix to this problem?
I've tried changing picture quality and such but no luck.
I was wondering if anyone else experienced this before. When I am using the camera and take a picture, as the phone is capturing the image there is a very noticeable amount of feedback coming through the earpiece. It only happens after I press the button to take the picture. Does anyone have any idea what could cause it?
Recently the camera has started to exhibit some odd behaviour. Occasionally when launching the app, the camera will take several seconds to focus and you can actually hear quite clearly some kind of mechanical noises going on. It's not every time the case but this never happened before...
Anyone else encountered this strange issue? I will do some more testing in different lighting conditions to get a better grasp on the issue.
Hi everyone, I am experiencing some nasty image quality issues on my new XZ2. It appears especially on some indoor photos or in low light, when software obviously tries to boost up the brightness on a saved image compared to a viewfinder, so I assume it's a software-related issue and not a damage on the sensor. I do not notice the defect on every picture or in a view finder before taking a photo. Did anyone experience the same problem?

I would be worried about those blurry edges too. That's a lot of noise. :/ Is it suppose to be like that?

Photos are zoomed in, I actually posted the screenshots, but it's true, corner noise and corner softness apparently stays Sony's issue as in the past. But not the camera defect as the dots in my opinion.
Hi Guys
Updated my Moto G5S Plus to Oreo 8.1 a few days ago using the commands on XDA. All is working great however I have an issues with WhatsApp, isolated with its Camera.
When I try to do Video on the Rear camera for video it seems to "zoom" in and I cannot zoom out. Its like jumping to max zoom and getting stuck.
With the front camera it seems to be VERY dark, the preview I see when recording video looks good, however when it plays back before sending its almost 100% dark, as if the light was never on?
Ive tried disabling the default camera, reinstall whatsapp all the usual stuff. I would assume if this was a widespread issue with the Whatsapp or Oreo update there would be more threads on it however I cant find anything.
Anyone else had this issue?

i have this problem too
The problem I have is that messages do not arrive unless I enter the application. The camera thing happened to me only in a couple of occasions where I recorded and it seemed that I had zoomed but it happened to me in the camera application not in wasap.
