Minimal Matte HD 2011 Release

This is the final release of this theme until I can free up some time to work on it more (hopefully not long), work has picked up a bit and caused development to slow a good amount. The community is more than welcome to modify and share this theme amongst yourselves.. please give credit where credit is due and expect to see more from me in the future

METAMORPH!: Download Updated 7/28
You guys can say thanks to studjuice for this one!
Metamorph unfortunately doesn't play nice with flashing fonts so you can download the theme font in flashable form HERE!
Flashable Zips:
Froyo 2.2 will work for every phone except HD devices, unless there is a phone specific build below flash Froyo 2.2.
Flashing over CM6 RC2 will not guarantee results.. the newer builds of CM6 don't seem to take well to themes.. some report success others aren't so lucky. There is a full RC2 rom below if you must have RC2.
Froyo 2.2 Release 1.5 *FIXED*
Froyo 2.2 Release 1.0
Nexus One Froyo
Legend Froyo
You can thank Tamimego for the legend version, the zip is based off of Kyosa's Legend CM6 RC1
Problems flashing? try booting into fastboot and clearing the system "fastboot erase system -w" reflash your rom and the theme. This will fix any errors related to not enough system space such as framework not flashing or missing apps after flashing.
Instructions
In order for you to get results like the screenshots above you have to do the following.
Notification Bar: Change the text to white under Cyanogenmod settings in the settings menu.
Dock: Go to launcherpro preferences menu button then preferences go to appearance and change dock to glass.
Dock Notifications: In launcher pro go to preferences, dock dock settings and check the dock notifications.
Weather/News: Just add weather widget and then add the news widget via the widgets menu.
Digital Clock: Open app draw go to digital clock set the background to black and then add the widget 4x1 to home screen.
Wallpaper: Now defaulted is the blue wallpaper, if you want to change it to the black its in your wallpaper gallery.
The icons are from an iPhone/iPod Touch theme Suave

This flashes over any [B][SIZE="3"]Froyo[/SIZE][/B] build 100% confirmed to work!
Comes in a bit bigger at around 18mb but this zip flashes every time!
Now has the latest launcherpro v0.6.7.3 took some work to get this thing themed properly and flashing correctly.
Framework-res.apk has been redesigned a bit also darkened (let me know if I should go back)
Thanks to HUND for the status bar icons.
Now removes ADWLauncher.apk if you have it installed.. simply because certain people were reporting that it stopped launcherpro from working.
[B]Manual Install[/B] for those of you who want to use just a certain part of the theme.
Unfortunately due to a lot of changes that have been made to the theme I will have to release separate updates for 2.1 and 2.2. :(
This update may take a few minutes to boot up for the first time so please be patient!

Modded GenieWidget: Updated with more fitting weather icons.
Tweaks: Built the update script similar to Test 3 since some people are having success with flashing now.
Size: Up to 9mbs roughly dude mainly to some reworked images.

Once again cleaned up some stuff shrunk to 8mbs/4MB for Metamorph
Power Control Widget mod: Now transparent see above screenshots.. will change blue lines to dots most likely in the near future
Now includes Digital Clock thanks to Maize!
Reworked flashing script: its now flashing each thing individually I'm hoping this allows for it to flash successfully although I'm unsure..
Launcher: Included in the update.zip, not included in Metamorph download [URL="http://www.mediafire.com/?95j32dyd2t9keai"]HERE![/URL] and install manually.
Metamorph should work.. unfortunately the app FC's on my phone so I couldn't test it first hand please let me know how it works I included most of the theme but not the launcher.apk I will continue to update this metamorph along with the flashable zip. Please post feedback and let me know if the metamorph works as it should... its based off the .xml format.
Personal flash tests on MyTouch3G 32B/G1 CM6 RC1/CM5 this flashes properly.. if not for you please post your rom and phone model. Also this may or may not effect it but I do not have any partitions on my SD its all FAT32.
[SIZE="4"]Test #2[/SIZE] FAILED AT FLASHING
Cleaned up the .zip shrunk down to 12mb
Re did the update script.. should install properly please let me know if its not.

Looks alright, however it doesn't work. It flashes, but doesn't actually copy anything over.

Nothing mean at all,,
But you might want to clean up the .zip,,
You only need the files you actually changed for the theme to work,, Looks like you are trying to move the whole framework and app folder
But really nice theme

Thank you! I removed everything that was extra.. to be honest I didn't even realize I had half of that stuff sitting in there... I thought 30mb was a bit big for a theme zip lol.
Anyway Test 2 is up and its cleaned up should come in around 12mb.. let me know if you flash it and if its working!

NP Glad I could help

no changes after flashing

Tried to flash on my Desire with OpenDesire 2.0, only got boot-loop.

32a magic - ze theme, they do nothing!

Nothing happened when flashed

I'm looking into the flashing problem, for some its working and for others its clearly not.

I think the problem is every ROM is different in the fact that the devs edit files differently and flashing a .zip that is not specific to that ROM can cause issues. If you want to make a universal theme there are 2 options (3 if you're good with scripts)
1. Make a MetaMorph that just changes images
2. Make an version for every ROM you want to support
3. Make 1 update.zip that has a script to detect which ROM is installed. Downside to 3 is the files size might be pretty big.
If I'm wrong please correct me.

I've posted manual install files for those having trouble for rite now, I am however looking into metamorph options for this theme.

Awesome theme, only the power control widget and music widget need to be transparent as well to match the genie widget.

This theme looks great. But, I just tried to flash it, and it didn't change anything.

I'm hoping tonight I will be posting a much more complete theme, the transparent widgets are on the list of things to get done so check back tomorrow and hopefully it will be done and these flashing issues will be sorted out as well I have some people helping me figure it out.
Should I take out the blue bars or change them to something else to let you know its enabled?

I'm working on the flashing issues rite now actually, could you try to do the manual install I've posted and let me know if that works for you? I'm also on MT3G 32B with Cyanogen mod RC1 and it flashes every time for me.

Its somewhat a pre-alpha v.0.0001 version and a dead project. I quickly realized that I didnt have the patience to do an entire theme myself.
And it was just an flashable theme for the VanillaEclair ROM.

What theme are you talking about? The only thing I've seen anywhere before is a dock similar to the one I'm using but again mine is different from the ones I've seen.

ChangeLog
1/7 Changed the lockscreen, a couple icons and the search widget.
12/28 No changes just updated to 4.2.11.1 stericson's lockscreen version only.
12/25 Updated to 4.2.10.1 edited the music and power widgets, xml edit in the calculator, Themed the 2.0 browser
12/22 Updated to Cm 4.2.9.1 only change is the gmail icon. Added a xmas skin its not a full theme so only flash after flashing the regular full theme and it doesn't really match with the blue stuff but i threw it together quickly to have somethin christmas-ish on my phone and figured i would share merry christmas. Also check out my wordpress i'm running out of room to post screens and anything else really here but it has 5 new app tray morphs for black ice or whatever you may use them for and there will be more morphs to come. http://amacthemes.wordpress.com/metamorph-app-tray-add-ons/
12/15 Stericsons lockscreen version only for CM 4.2.8.1. Made a few changes to the framework and cleaned up some icons. Also made some add ons for metamorph see screens for details and please do not try to flash these add on zips they won't work. Flashable available from cm updater also.
12/5 Updated the white clock and notification and stericson lockscreen for use with the morph to cm 4.2.7.1 also available in the cmupdater as well. Also moved the xml edits from the morph to the clock zip so it is compatible with any cm update whether or not it has stericson's lockscreen. Added back in the advanced launcher also.
12/2 Stericson's lockscreen version now up both flashable and metamorph version. Everything is also available from cmupdater now thanks to djengizz you can use the updater to flash the white clock, lockscreen, and 2.0 youtube if you choose to go the metamorph route and the morph for stericson's lockscreen is also available for download from the updater DO NOT PRESS APPLY NOW AFTER YOU DLOAD IT you can put it in your AndroidThemes folder or just navigate to your cmupdates folder from andexplorer in the metamorph application. PLEASE READ THIS AND DO IT BEFORE YOU USE STERICSON'S LOCKSCREEN Also there is a new version of metamorph available v0.9 here http://relentlessaddictions.com/android/node/4 make sure you download it if you haven't already
11/30 Major update not using update.zips for the actual theme anymore only thing u have to flash is a small update with the white clock and notifications and the themed 2.0 youtube.apk (if you don't have the new google maps yet just dload it from the market)the rest is done with the amazing metamorph application by stericson and co. I know this may seem like it takes longer but its worth it in the end this app gives me the freedom to do icon packs and battery packs for stericsons lockscreen without u booting back into recovery and flashing and this new .zip will be compatible with any forthcoming cm 4.2.xx 1.6 rom until there is changes to the images or image names as i'm sure some of u know already so lets get on with it. And always remeber to do a NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE U TRY ANYTHING, Also its best if you are on a stock cm rom before you do this as this only changes the images not the whole apk so if your using another theme it might not replace some of the images that theme has and you'll have a mixed up theme won't hurt anything you'll just have leftover changes from the other theme.
Step 1
Download metamorph app from here http://relentlessaddictions.com/android/node/4
(the version number will change rapidly as this is still in beta try to keep checking this link for a newer version until its available in the market and you can look here for more information on the app itself and videos on how to use it)
Then install it with whatever file manager or apk installer u use or thru adb.
Step 2
If you don't already have it Download andexplorer from the market
Step 3
Download my files the white clock update and the theme.zip itself that are found below in the new downloads section. DO NOT TRY TO FLASH THE THEME ZIP it will not work. Also u need both files or else you won't be able to see your clock and notifications.
Step 4
mount your sd card and make a new folder called AndroidThemes place my theme zip in that folder and place the white clock update on the root of your sd like usual unmount your sdcard reboot into recovery and flash the white clock like u would any other theme.
Step 5
After u flash the update and your phone reboots open up the metamorph app it will check for the zip binary and if u don't have it it will ask you to install it click yes then it will ask for root access click remember and allow or else it will ask you everytime it needs to change something. (check to make sure you have version .7 or higher)Then click on pick theme. It will then ask you what you want to open it with click on andexplorer and i always make it the default by clicking the check mark on the bottom. Then just find your AndroidThemes folder click on it. Click on my .zip which will be called blackicedroid and press ok. It will unzip the theme and give u the option to do only certain apk's or apply all at once if you want the whole theme just click apply all if you want to target just certain apk's pick the apk you want themed but if you do it individually try to do framework-res last as that is where the majority of changes are. Thats it let it do its thing and it will ask u to reboot when its finished when its rebooted u will have my full theme if thats how u applied it.
It'll be easier now that everything is setup i wanna get this out there so everyone can get used to it because i think this is the future of theming IMO. Also the only thing you'll have to wait for me for when cy updates unless some images have changed is the white notifications and stericsons lockscreen when its released and if some images do change i will let you know when i release the notifications u can still use the theme since its just images but whatever images where changed in cy's update won't be themed. For example the dialer buttons have been changed to a .9 in 4.2.6 so the dialer will be stock for now i will update that tommorow
Any questions, comments, problems feel free to ask i will try to respond in a timely matter. Big Thanx to Stericson, Kastro and everyone else involved in metamorph its amazing and again thanx to stericson for helping me out. Also thanks to djengizz for making a community thread for morphs u can find mine and other great themer's morph's here if you haven't seen the thread already.
Update 11/24 Changes are to Stericson's Lockscreen version only. Problem with battery updating fixed thanks to pershoot for the fix. New Boot animation, Some changes to Lockscreen, new folder background, Google maps 3.2.1 With navigation MAY NEED TO WIPE AND WIPE DALVIK CACHE OR LINUX EXT FOR NEW MAPS TO WORK Removed custom wallpapers for size reasons working on wallpaper pack will post later.
Update 11/13 Compatible with CM4.2.4 Themed the quick search box, changed the statusbar drop down and made some changes to stericsons lockscreen. Back to 2 versions one with stericsons lockscreen and one without both have same animations as previous versions and both have advanced launcher which means you can change how many screens you have from 2 to 10 by pressing menu>more>extended>homescreen and changing the slider to whatever you want.
Update11/8 Added some changes to all the widgets, launcher tab, cleaned up some of the icons and darkened the statusbar. Advanced launcher is back in same animations as last version only version with stericsons lockscreen available right now will add one without it soon.
Update 10/30 Made for CM 4.2.2 re did all the icons added the best looking icons from 2.0 eclair dump and a couple others. Added the 2.0 transitions but kept the blur menu bounce so u get the best of both worlds. Some changes to Stericsons lockscreen still 2 versions one with and one without stericson's lockscreen both have the same animations and both have the advanced launcher
Update 10/26 Made for CM 4.2.1 added youtube and maps from 2.0 eclair dump. Two versions now with stericson lockscreen and without both stiill have advanced launcher and blur animations. Also updated themed flyscreen to version 1.1.3
10/19 Added new folder drawables, dialer buttons from pulse rom, dark popup's from pulse rom, couple different wallpapers, boot animation, prolly other things i forgot about, trimmed down the size, Also made a semi themed flyscreen for anyone that uses it only changed the wallpaper, weather widget, icon and the main bottom part with time and date everything else looked sexy already imo. Works on both 4.1.999 and 4.1.9999. Looks better on phone screens are kinda fuzzy and boot screen is still a wip so don't hate on it too hard.
If you have market version 1660 or higher you probably don't have a themed market to get the theme back you can
Code:
adb push com.android.vending.apk /data/app/
or move the apk to the root of your sdcard and from terminal emulator
Code:
su
cp /sdcard/com.android.vending.apk /data/app/
heres the apk http://black-icetheme.googlecode.com/files/com.android.vending.apk
If you don't have adb or don't want to cp just uninstall the market update from settings and it should go back to themed until it gets the update again if it doesn't become themed after uninstalling it download the morph from my previous downloads section that says morph for any 1.6 rom and just apply the vending.apk.
This theme has google apps in it so please do a Nandroid backup before u flash this because flashing just cy's rom won't take away the themed icons. Please make sure you flash theme for the rom you are currently using.
New DownloadsFOR METAMORPH
NOTE THESE ARE ONLY FOR USE WITH THE METAMORPH APPLICATION AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET AND ARE USED AS ADD ONS TO THE FLASHABLE THEME BELOW AS ALWAYS DO A NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE USING ANYTHING

I get icons and launcher themed yet top bar is normal and top bar icons notifications too.
Don't know what i did wrong.

do you have adp or the crb43 regular with the myfaves and amazon? this only works with adp if you do have adp i'll flash to my last backup and see if it happens to me when i flash it
edit: the one with radio included is us crb43 it uses cramfs for the framework which i don't know how to mess with yet sorry about that it should work with the adp version of lucid rem
has anyone tried it wit jf 1.5, cause i really like it but don't wanna mess up my phone and have to wipe it
Im trying to dl it right now and will try on 1.5.

thanx for the comment i had a few different kinds but i picked that one to balance out the black and blue i could probably throw another one together if you feel it's worth flashing again would you suggest all blue or just add some blue to that one? it should work on 1.5 cause i used the template for 1.5 which works on 1.51 i just haven't actually tried it.

Both 1.5 and 1.51 it would just stick at the G1 screen and not go any further I had this issue with the Magic theme for the longest time till he updated it then it works. Hopefully same for this because i finally found a theme to take me away from my dragon fantasy

Info:
SystemForce is based on the artwork by Homeryulo. I love the iconset and wallpapers so I had originally created this to customize my own G1. I started adding more and more and this is the latest instance of my work. This is a HIGHLY customized theme which was in the Theme competition here at XDA once upon a time. Since then it has gone through endless revisions and updated to SystemForce2 and now SystemForce3 with over 1000+ images edited. There are ports to other rom's linked in the second post if you want to risk it.
Download - Only flash version compatible for your rom.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I read the funky new battery meter?
-Green = Good
-Light Green = Meh
-Yellow = Where's my charger?
-Orange = GET OUTA MY WAY I NEED TO CHARGE THIS
-Red = End of the world as we know it.
or like so:
How do I install the extra icons?
-Simply unzip the extras zip file somewhere on your sdcard, use an app such as 'bettercut' to set your icons manually. I will be changing some of the system icons to ones I like, so you can use this to change it as well.
How do I use the extra wallpapers?
-I do include the default main wallpaper in the wallpapers gallery but also offer 3 extras in the extra .zip file I included above. To use this put them in /wallpapers/ folder of your sdcard and use an app like 'wallpaper set & save' to set as wallpaper. Or just use android gallery and install from anywhere on your sdcard.
What if I want this theme for other roms?
-Some great people in this thread have helped porting over some of the theme for other roms: (older versions-only try at your own risk!!)
--JACxROM-1.3r3: SystemForce3.0.2
--JACxROM-1.3r3: SystemForce3.0.2.1
--JACxROM-1.4r3: SystemForce3.0.4.6
--JACxROM-1.5r4: SystemForce3(v1.0)
SystemForce3.0.4 for:
--JFv1.5CRB43-US.zip
--TheOfficialCRC1-US..zip
--TheOfficialCRC37-EU.zip
--TheOfficialCRC1-ADP.zip
What if I want this theme for Cyanogen's Experimental roms?
Since the whole google/cyanogen fiasco I realized this may be the last experimental rom for a while so I went ahead and ported the theme for it.
-SystemForce3-(v1.0e) (runs on CM 4.0.4 - uploaded September 26, 2009)
I don't like the GOLD color scheme, do you have it in other colors?
-Simple answer: No. Long answer: The original artwork is mostly in the gold color you see most of the images based on. If someone wants to go through all the images and change them to different colors, by all means feel free to do so and I will link them here. Flash these only at your own risk, I can't take responsibility for things others have made
Current available colors:
SystemForce3.0.4.4 in BLUE: Download from snyper2k2
-Works in CM 4.0.4
-Haven't personally tested it, just signed and uploaded.

i was wondering if any has tried this???
Just not for me, but I've always thought your Theme was BADASS! It's still looking more professional than 90% of the themes that our out.

I tested this on CM 4.0.1 extensively. Its perfectly safe if you have the proper rom. After the initial install, it may stay on G1 screen for a minute or two, just give it time and it should get to the animated boot screen after that.

Thanks! Going to continue making newer themes too hopefully once this thing is out of the way. I'm itching to make more now that I got the hang of themes again. No offense to anyone out there, but you can only have so many hero based themes. Rosie was pretty, but now she's just a common hooker it seems :[

Next on the list of to do's are of course the widgets. Since those are .9.png files and I've been off my main computer for a while, I'll have to work on them when I can. I don't use htc music either, so everything themed will probably be the stock stuff.
Thanks for providing the advance launcher for others as well, I stopped using it when Cyan dropped it. I had cut down to 3 screens anyway and I didn't use folders.
Great looking theme. Runs smooth and haven't notice any slowdowns that I have noticed with some other themes.
I flashed the theme no problem but I cant flash the extra pack. any suggestions?
kinda of a noob question...but can some1 tell me how to install the extras on ma fone?
Excellent job....thanks
Excellent theme. You and MOONSPOON are changing the game (at least when gchrome is released).
It's also the first theme I flashed on 4.0.1 with no force closes (probably just my luck).
I think any personal request were previously addressed, so I'll just say can more of the icons be built in?
As far as the install question, you need WinRAR to open the file to changes the drawables and such, then you can replace the icons with the ones in the extras folder.
Going to try Advanced Launcher now. Thank you for posting that, I was just about to theme it as I read this.

There should be not a single force close issues as long as you're loading it on proper CM Rom. Believe me I made sure I tested it way too many times before I release any of my themes.
As far as other icons: yes more of them will be built in as they were in the rc33 version of this theme.
To use the extras: Do not flash it as an update.zip, its simply a zip file with an icons folder and a wallpapers folder.
The icons you can use if you have bettercut/anycut to manually change your system icons to match.
The wallpapers you can drop them in your sdcard and use it with the theme as any wallpaper. I suggest you download 'wallpaper set & save' from market, put them in /wallpapers/ folder and use the app to set it to get a non pixelated wallpaper.
I've added the frequent questions to post #2, people who have trouble with the extras zip file, check that.

Good to see the new thread also!
Now all I need is the search bar to look as sexy as the rest of this theme with ghosted google wording and ghosted search bar (@froggy heard you were the png god)
Oohhh and the lockscreen for SuperD also
Fantastic work fella's.
New CM dropped. Looks like it's time for 0.6.9. Or maybe just v1, since there's no longer any reason to # this theme as if it were in beta. This sucker is probably more polished than any other theme out there.
WOW, this is a nice theme, looks wonderful. Thanks a lot. first time trying a theme.
I did not find instructions on how to install, so I just put the zip file in the Sdcard and flashed it using AmonRecovery image.
(for those who are new too)
any other way to apply these kind of themes?
Also, it's good it didn't overwrite my DroidSansFallback.ttf font file, cause I added thai font in there.
Thanks again, I love this theme.

[CM7][Theme]HoneyBread Alpha 4 [TABLET TWEAKED]

After i developed the tablet tweaks, a lot of people started modifying framework and systemui to exchange the buttons instead of doing it with a theme. the way they were going just was bad by design. no fixes are included except those people repeat their work with every new nightly build. thats the reason we use theme engine by now. it works for all devices and all versions.
my initial complaints about modifying those files and my suggestion to use a theme were ignored - so i came to the point to do it myself.
all i did was adding honeycomb icons for the soft buttons to the already existing honeybread v4 theme. as soon as there is a new honeybread theme, i hope it features the new buttons - at least i asked for that on the honeybread issue tracker.
get the modified theme here - it will show up with no preview by the name @string/theme_name in front of all your themes - i cannot help that bad behavior by now:

Nice work murdock, and you're right the theme engine is A LOT better than changing each new systemUI. I've been planning on adding similar 3.0 soft buttons to my upcoming honeycomb theme chooser apk and have already gone pretty deep with changes to the status bar, power widget, settings icons etc., but I'm having trouble getting the 3.0 lockscreen and other things like my homescreen/app menu icons to show without supplying an additional zip file (which means ill either have to make a version for each rom, or a metamorph file that makes the apk kinda pointless when I could just add everything to the zip). Do you know if the theme engine is capable of adding the lockscreen or non-stock apps? I haven't been able to find very much out there yet about incorporating additional xml files to the apk, but if you could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it
Sent from my HTC Mytouch 3g using XDA App
Great job murdock. Thanks...

After i developed the tablet tweaks, a lot of people started modifying framework and systemui to exchange the buttons instead of doing it with a theme. the way they were going just was bad by design. no fixes are included except those people repeat their work with every new nightly build. thats the reason we use theme engine by now. it works for all devices and all versions.
my initial complaints about modifying those files and my suggestion to use a theme were ignored - so i came to the point to do it myself.
all i did was adding honeycomb icons for the soft buttons to the already existing honeybread v4 theme. as soon as there is a new honeybread theme, i hope it features the new buttons - at least i asked for that on the honeybread issue tracker.
get the modified theme here - it will show up with no preview by the name @string/theme_name in front of all your themes - i cannot help that bad behavior by now:

if you wanna further modify the theme, i also uploaded the decompiled honeybread, including my changes and apktool.

do you have a tablet?
Morsed by hitting a plastic pipe with my Desire HD. Excuse typos.
Thanks, it looks great, however there are a couple of small problems I'm not sure if it should go into the honeybread issue tracker or here or if they are just caused by something I did wrong.
Quoted from the Tablet Tweak post since I'm having pretty much the same problems (looked a few pages down and no solution seems to have showed up, sorry if I missed it)

Also the Honeybread theme from xda causes your power widgets to be background less although still clickable. weird looking.

Ok, I figured out my issue -- honeybread theme doesn't play nice with the latest build. At least for me. It was causing widgets to fail at startup and my SDcard wouldn't mount unless triggered by something accessing it -- e.g. me opening file manager.
Restored a backup w/out honeybread - Flashed newest build - Rebooted 5 times -
No issues.
Installed honeybread apk - Rebooted a couple times -
No issues.
Applied honeybread theme - Rebooted - Widgets failed to load - SDcard doesn't mount unless triggered - Rebooted a few times -
Same behavior.
Applied default theme - Rebooted a few times
All is well.
Sorry, I know this isn't relevant to the mod, but I know a few people in here were starting to use honeybread, so I thought I'd report what I found.
Now I can start actually playing around with this build.

Just to add that the widgets do load eventually, but it's quite a long wait, and seems to happen after the SD card trigger.
Not a big problem since the only time I reboot is after flashing something in CWM anyway. Just wondering if this happens to everyone or just me.

Looks really nice other than the opaque black dock. Is there not any way to with Honeybread to have a translucent dock? Perhaps the answer is to disable the dock with this theme, but I still like to have one with my four most used apps (browser, email, gmail, and calendar).
Just loaded it on my G Tablet running CM7. Looks awesome. Thanks for your work on this.

I haven't been able to find very much out there yet about incorporating additional xml files to the apk, but if you could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it

with the t-mob theme engine, you can replace any graphic or xml file (animations, strings) below the res/ directory of each app. doesnt matter if its installed or could be installed. about the lockscreen - well - forget about it needs changed code to work like the hc lockscreen. no way to do this via themes. the lockscreen icons themself can of course be changed as you like..
download the sources i posted in first post and take a look into it - should be pretty much self explanatory

honeybread issue tracker! i dont wanna get involved into this theme at all. i just added the soft buttons to stop people modifying the .apk files with winzip - which is really really bad...
Excuse my ignorance but I'm new to Nook and CM7, I downloaded the theme for the installation am I suppose to install via CWM > "install zip from sdcard" which fails "aborted" or am I suppose to drop it in a folder and change it using ADWLauncher?
Great
Hi
installed on my HD2 running a CM7 rom (Hyperdroid CM7 2.0.0)
all parts are themed
Nice work

How did you install it when I try to install it on my Nook from CWM I get the dreaded "ABORTED"
Roger
It's an apk so just copy it to sdcard and run it
The only problem i have with this, is that i only want the buttons. I am using a "Sense" theme that i love, and the buttons work great. If there was a way to have two different themes going, that would be nice (make the button one theme, and allow users to pick honeybread or something else)...

Thanks for the quick reply when I downloaded the file it was a .zip file renaming it to .apk enabled me to install it without errors but it does not show up under "Settings > ADWLauncher > Theme Preferences > Select your theme" any ideas? I rebooted and its still not listed.
Install Instructions
Download the Honeybread.apk
Install the APK
Open the Theme Chooser app
Select the Honybread Theme
After it applies reboot
Enjoy!
Thanks I was trying to use ADWLaucncher not Theme chooser to set the theme it worked, like I said I'm new to CM7 but with help from the community I'm learning.

Wow. Does no one read directions anymore?
Install the apk.
YOU MUST USE THEME CHOOSER
scroll all the way to the left. There won't be a pic, but a string. From mad (IN THE ORIGINAL POST)
"it will show up with no preview by the name @string/theme_name in front of all your themes"
Reboot.
Hey mad, you're pretty good at this whole android thing.
Just a tinsy tiny bug. The sliders in the gui have a slight offset line next to the slider button. No biggie, could just be my 190 dpi.
I'll change and report back if anything changes.

Other Flashable apps:
AOSP MMS
EH17/EH06/EG22 Pulldown Animation with Scrollable Quick Panel
EH17/EH06/EG22 Pulldown no Animation with Scrollable Quick Panel
I've also ran this on EG22 roms as well.
Bugs: null/null on the lockscreen when the music player isn't running.
EH06: Tested on Stock Deodexed EG22 and EH06, Random Rom Hawk v2, and ERA Unnamed with no issues.
EH06: Tested on Urban Decay with one issue. You need to remove email.apk from the theme before you install it.
EH17: Make sure you are familiar with issues reported in Maddoggins mod thread and Crawrjs AIO thread.
EH17: Both Urban Vendetta & Hurricane Rom, Remove Talk.apk from the zip before installing. Both roms have the voice and video version which will cause fc's if the one from the theme isn't removed.
EH17 Lockmod Removal:
I didn't want to rebuild the whole theme just yet so it's a patch the keeps crt, battery mod, overscroll, and adds the scrollable quickpanel, but it has standard animations (I forgot to put the fly ins back in, sorry). It's made up of the framework-res.apk, settings.apk, and the 3 jar files.
Instructions:
This is made to remove from the theme so:
Flash v2.2 theme (If you're not already on it)
In the TSM parts settings: get your settings in there set the way you want. You won't be able to change these later.
Flash the patch.
You will now only have the Epic lock screen.
EH17 v2.3 Changes and instructions.
Wow, where to start with the changes this time around.
Thanks to maddoggin, we now have 11 lockscreen, and Mikey, you get your puzzle lock back in this version.
Blacked out gtalk w/Voice and video!
The transparent MMS is back.
Re did the progress bars to green as it is on Honeycomb.
Included the Voice command and Voice talk. Just awesome apps everyone should have.
I did not update the market yet. It was not cooperating with me at all. Also not including google + as that app is a royal pain in the a$$.
I would recommend you flash this on a fresh rom. Please do not post any issues until you try that.
Gmail or Gtalk fc's: If this happens, make sure there is only one installed in the system/app folder. If you do not know which ones to delete, delete both and reflash the theme. You can also fix plenty of fc issues by wiping the data on that app.

Yup, I'm on the same.
Thanks Shane, few ?'s
I still just want your icons on the notification only, such as the signal, wifi, and etc. Someone on a different thread gave me an answer as to what I needed, but i don't know if simply replacing the right files will brick my phone, or go through.. lol. I'm Deodexed on EG22. I also gave it more of a thought, as to I should just give the whole theme a shot, perhaps enjoying it for a while, would change my mind, I already have a nandroid backup, just wondering, is it just as simple to uninstall as it is to install? or Do I have to Nandroid Restore if I ever choose to remove the theme? Just like to tinker with things, I do appreciate your work. So much that I only want to take a piece of it, and apply it to my own custom experience. =P
Shane, just wanted to let you know that I flashed the theme with no issues. Must say...the theme...well...it's KICK ASS. Awesome job bro, keep up the great work.

You could just try flashing the systemui.apk for the signal bars, but the battery mod it in the framework and for that you'll need the .jar files.
To get rid of it, I would flash maddoggins stock 8lock mod and add the stock version of the apps I themed to the system/app folder of the zip.
Thanks

For some reason, this theme doesn't want to apply to RandomROM 2.3 HAWK v.2 ROM based on EG22.
