I think it's dope....but then again I'm a big pyro. Either way I'll be using it on my eris.
Looks pretty good. One thing . . . the "LOADING" has hiccups. It is not my style but sure others will like it.
this guy brought The Old E out for this one haha i bet hes got his septum pierced too lol. i woulda done it, plus its all blue =) nice keep working on em and youl have soemthing real nice one day.

Thanks for the input guys,i yeah i noticed the loading word after i posted this.its not really noticable on the phone unless your looking for it.

im in the process of doing that now,just will take some time since im in college,juggling a house with a girlfriend, 2kids, 2cats, and a ferret.its rough being stay at home dad will post it when i get it worked out tho!!!

Let me know when this done. I want to check it out. I just installed the blue one and it loks much better on screen than it does as animate gif in OP.

if not rooted you will need sdk to push it to system/media or if you are rooted you can use root explorer and put the bootanimation.zip on your sd card.then open root explorer and move the file to system/media and write over the boot animation that is already in there

oh for drizzys blur..i am waiting for his newest release before i even touch the keyboard. if things go as planned,he might drop his newest blur tonight.
and when youre talking abou tdrizzys blur..are u talking about his hero with blur touch ups (drizzy blur 1.5.7)? or his actual moto blur rom?

Yea im using the MotoBlur rom, and it has the IME keys also...and when i say "floating keys" i just mean they would look like they are floating per the solid background that surrounds them would be transparent, example:
basically you would just be able to see the wallpaper/widgets behind the keys...

hmm i think i have an idea. is there any specific color you want for the transparency? gray? i dont think i can make the transparency completely clear.but idk we will see.. i think i know what i can do.

When you press each letter behind it becomes untransparent. This is fixed by switching between numbers and letters though. Also, it gets darker behind it so it's kind of cool to see what letters you press the most

bootanimation_v1 is like the animation shows, the... swishy thing only goes one direction.

How do I do that? I noticed that the resolution isn't that good on my phone (Droid) compared to what it should be... like when I look at it on my computer. I think there's some compression... but don't know how to fix that.

I've never done a bootanimation before, but I do know that in order to be hi def (nexus one, incredible, etc) the images should be 800x480. Right now the images are 455x256 which is almost half as what they should be so that's why the resolution isn't very good. I don't remember from the top of my head what the resolution for the Droid is but I can assure you its not 455x256 either. Once all the images are changed to the correct resolution, then just change the size in the desc file and it should work.

Since I havn't got my XOOM yet I have only tested it on the emulator so the timing may need adjusting but let me know what you all think. Hope you like...
NOTE: Be patient and watch the whole thing, it's not just the red "XOOM" in the corner....

You can copy it to your device by entering the directory wit hthe bootanimation.zip, make sure you have adb setup and perform the following command:

Alternatively if you have a file manager just copy it to your SD card and paste it from there. (Probably need Root for this method).

I always try to be kind...but anyways, i prefer BigDX's Bootanimation, though i really love yours, i had a similar for my n1

You have to change the mSD to µSD though or people might mistake it
I like the retro/nerd style a lot
Really wish the original bootloader was not so lame, stuff like this is just awesome

Heh, good idea though, but I don't think i'll make the efffort to reacreate all 100 images for the micro sign when there is so little interest.
I'v fixed the timing and will upload that later, maybe even a screenshot of the full page with text so it's not mistaken.

Ive been skinning Beautiful Widget Clock for a little while now but never posted any on here. I really don't get any feedback except from the download count from Beautiful Widget. Sometimes it takes a few days for them to even post them so I thought id give the community a first look & chance to download before they get published. I have no problem with criticism & will even take requests if you have a idea. I like to go outside the box from the normal clocks as you will see. Most of my clocks are transparent backgrounds & 3d like images & numbers.

I use a white wallpaper on my phone when taking screenshots. So the white you see behind clock is my wallpaper not part of the clock.

Gotta say never seen that done be4 I am a big gamer on steam a lot of the time killing floor is a sweet game to play flesh pounder guys keep you on your toes in that game . Our many other first person shooters . Looks bad ass man hope to see some more like that .
How long it usually take you to do one like that ?

I assume you have the Beautiful Widget app installed since that's what these are for. If you do then just extract contents of zip to sdcard\data\beautifulwidgets\scskins\<name of zip file>

Sweet thanks man this kicks ass sweet to see some dead space or left 4 dead 2 games stuff like that was checking out your widget thing on market looks good .
Well I guess ill need to get it since I can't figure out how to get it to work without it.

Lol i wish it was my app on the market then I would have made some money. I just make skins for it when im bored, change my theme of my phone to something else or friends ask me to cook up one for them.

I'm sure there is a way to use it without the beautiful widget . Your clocks look grand man lol all you would need to do is make it work for aosp roms and sense lol there are a few devs that would help you . Great skill.

Are you talking about the weather widget at the top? Dont see a clock anywhere on that screen besides android time in upper right corner.
