Froyo with Sense has been ported to hd2 - Touch CDMA Android Development

HI i don't know if you know but froyo has been ported to the hTc HD2, but with sense too. i was wondering if anybody was working on it because i love sense build. i have incubus super froyo (2.2) and his super sense hero(2.1) on my phone now. I Would be glad to be a tester for anyone just pm me

That's because the hd2 is running a snapdragon arm v7. Not compatible with the Vogue also screen resolution would be an issue as well. You won't be able to run 2.2 sense until it comes out for the legend or slide.

Suggest some sense into me

So I just tested out the 2.2 sense port from that Chinese phone...and it got me missing sense, I want as close to stock looking as possible besides overclockable and a2sd...what's the best one out there that you all have used?

there is no 2.2 sense port fully yet. your outta luck on that one. But there are plenty of sense 2.1 roms tho. I myself liked Fresh Toast or the new fresh 2.4.0
I know there isn't a fully working 2.2sense yet, i have been on cm6 for a while but i realized i miss sense

Sense for Fascinate

Does anyone have Sense UI properly working on Fascinate?
Lol. No there probably won't ever be a fully functional one. Sorry

I hear that if you want sense there is an option to purchase as droid incredible which will also give you froyo.
I really see no need for Sense UI anymore since Launcher Pro has sense widgets fully functional. Also, it is less of a resource hog like sense is.

[Q] HTC Sense 2.1 vs. Sense 2.2

So for my HTC Hero for Sprint, I'm currently using LiquidSense 2.1. And I know that xda has a Sense 2.2. Now I'm looking for the version of sense that will provide the fastest performance. I know 2.2 addressed a lot of speed/performance issues, but will it be better than liquidsense's optimized 2.1 version? And then what about the aosp gingerbread 2.3? Is the fastest of them all?
Just trying to make it through until Sprint releases a new phone this summer Thanks for all your help ahead of time!

2.2 sense doesn't have a working camera and likely never will. For speed, I personally think GB 2.3 is the way to go, or aosp froyo, but with 2.3 you will get more customization options.
Yeah, you will never achieve speeds with a sense rom that you'll get with an aosp one. Sense is too resource demanding.

Sent from my CDMA Hero. I got some hot Gingerbread-on-Hero action here!
I also recommended CM6 stable,CM6.2, CM6187-Nightly, there's a CM7 Nightly/Full Official released as well. Haven't tried CM7 Nightly/Full Official yet, but from what I've read it been getting alot of postive feed back. Its on my next to do list. I'm still giving Ginger bread 2.3.3 a spin. I've used CM6 Roms up untill about 3 weeks or so. CM6 roms are great for speed, customization and reliability. Aosp's Gingerbread rom is great for all of these as well.IMO you can't go wrong with either.
Yea its me again with the

That's a pain haha. I've gotten used to sense but I might give the aosp gingerbread a spin. I'm sick of the lag on the hero haha

I want to try pmgrands rom, but i'm waiting until it's further along. I keep checking back everyday to see how its coming lol. Until then i'm using aosp's 2.3.3 20110307 rom overclocked to 691 MHz, and getting a quadrant score of around 325. I ran quadrant on my mom's stock eclair hero and only got around 200. so about 60% faster.

Double Shot for Nexus ONe?

Is there any sense 3.0 roms out there that will work for the nexus one phone?
Yeah search RCmixHDv09 port or look under android development and you will find it...i never tested that rom yet though
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
any sense 3.0 roms out there...true roms not the sense 2.0 with the new unlock...a real port like the one available for my touch4g
Idts .......try asking some people like abi to take the mytouch 4g and port it to nexus
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
No, there are none. And MT4G port has its own problems, scaling non-native widgets - a problem which will most probably remain until one of the older devices (Desire HD?) gets Sense 3.0 officially (which will happen, according to HTC).

full hd video works only with dual core proccesor
3.5 and 3.6 are very similar. The only apparent changes are the obvious ics changes underneath and the dock on the HTC launcher
It seems that HTC took out some of the features of ics in sense 3.6
Sense 4 is a huge leap coming from 3.x IMO, has a very different look and function
To me, sense 4 brings HTC sense back towards aosp a bit, it keeps some features on both sense and aosp and brings them together in a kind of unified version of sense
Sent from my Incredible S using XDA
In the past hour ive flashed probs 3 different roms. but i went back to sense 4a, it just looks and feels smoother.
Of course, Sense 4 is better! And actually I think that Sense 3.x was made for Android 2.x, that's why Sense 3.6 looks a bit out of place on ICS. As for HD video recording.. only 720p on our phone. Because of the CPU!
