Nobody can make a rom yet because they don't know how to start all hardware so we need to start Windows Mobile first and after that start Android, but you can autostart haret so you don't see WM and go directly to Android through haret.
PLEASE STOP SPAMMING ABOUT ROM!!! WE ALL WANT ROM AND DEVELOPERS KNOW THAT WE WANT IT. WAIT UNTIL ANDROID IS ENOUGH USABLE TO BE PUT INTO ROM. MAKING MILLION POSTS ABOUT ROM WON'T SPEED UP ANYTHING. RATHER DOWNLOAD ONE OF THE CURRENT RELEASES, TEST IT AND REPORT BUGS/PROBLEMS. THAT WAY YOU WILL BE MUCH MORE USABLE AND YOU WILL HELP ROM COME FASTER.

This is my first dump... so it's ready when it's ready... yep like the Rom-Builders say overhere!
It's a RAW Dump from the Dutty 18 feb Rom (with respect for all his work) with the hope more Rom-Builders can use it. That's what XDA is all about, sharing and learning together.

Satscan i already saw this video this morning, it´s from Xmoo and the title is, "Android working (kinda) on the Touch HD. Rom: Duttys HD V1.8 XTREME[WWE]", i just think it has nothing to do with rom dumping.
I also think that it´s better to ask for the rom source from Dutty, dumping it, will take you nowhere, because Dutty rom´s have no Dsm or Rgu files in it.
Just a thought my friend.

Yes, but it's useful to be able to get a 6.5 ROM ready, so as soon as Hard SPL exists, it can be flashed.
I could make a 6.5 ROM using the current (6.1) nk.exe and OEMDrivers, but I'd need to do lots of module->files conversions, and that would effect my Topaz kitchen...

Umm official would mean released from htc as a beta test rom and not a cooked rom...so maybe you are a little about the meaning of official.

The difference is, many sources don't want what they've given to be passed on too much. It's also not that useful for most people until HardSPL comes out.

The point of XDA is to learn, not to get us to do things for you. Anything that is done and released on these forums is in the interest of the creator learning, nothing more. We're not here to root your firmware's for you, but we will help you learn how to do it yourself. Independence is a great thing. I have provided you with a link that will help you root your firmware, and the author has gone to some lengths to help you get the kitchen installed. Once installed, you run it and the option for rooting a firmware becomes apparent.
Also note that banter here is just that. We don't mean any offence (or I certainly don't, and I can't imagine anyone else does).

I second this. ROM cooking shouldn't be made easier. We already have to many ****ty ROMs here on XDA, and we don't need any more half-assed ROMs. There are also lots of resources out there to learn it from already.
