very new to this! - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

so i just flashed enomthers rom i like the little tweaks on it! but im not sure there are still some things missing i am wanting like a black notification bar and a clear drop down notification bar so when i pull it down i see what on my screen instead of the gray...is there any way to keep this rom and have those things?

Yes, look in the themes section.

Or you can go back to enomthers thread and flash the new ROM pre themed with Nextheme.

Hey I don't know which version of Enom's ROM you are using...but in the theme and app section, there's a theme for black status bar...
You can try to nandroid backup first and then flash that them and check it out

[Q] how do i get just a black notification bar and battery status morph

how do i get a black notification bar and a battry meter battery mod?
thanks in advance for the help
Install cyanogen mod and go to the settings.
Meta morph some themes on your phone. It's over in the themes forum.
Hi,
my question might be related, can I do it with stock ROM? without installing custom like cyan, etc

[THEME] NakedSimpleMiui (13/1/12)

This is a theme which is a mix between Dbilliters Naked Simplicity theme and the Blue Miui theme from Donhu (which is based on ZDuneX25's Miui theme ). I have also added some stuff as well, mainly transparent settings background. This is kind of a WIP, and it's not as locked as ICS, so if there is something you want me to add or change, tell me and I will see if I find it suiting for the theme
Install instructions
1) Place zip on SD
2) Boot into recovery
3) Wipe cache and dalvik
4) Flash zip
5) Reboot
Changelog:
13/1: Initial release
16/1: Fixed blank screen issues, changed buttons layout, added compact version.
16/1: Reverted to old buttons as I messed up something with the new ones.
Thanks to:
Donhu
ZDuneX25
Dbilliter
Cool theme... I'll check it out.
Hey what is the icon beside the cell signal icon? I've seen it before somewhere but was slightly confused by it's state(s). Example, ON/OFF state for whatever it is.
Thanks.

Its WiFi and the state is 3/4
sent with love from me to you
Theme updated If you use the compact carrier look, uncheck carrier labels in cm settings
Edit: Hold it there, seems I messed up something
Edit2: Now it should be okay
Edit3: No it isn't? *Rage* Removed the compact one, the normal one seems to work.
Boot loop. Same as with your ICS theme (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=23726976#post23726976).
Well, are you using this rom? The themes only work for this rom, not any froyo rom, i specified it in the ICS theme OP at least
Aaah, right. That explains it. The funny thing is that I read that in the OP. Sorry, the mistake was mine.
Why it can't work on Decked X when you are using it on your HabaDecked which is basicly Goku's Decked?
Ash, I forgot to add to Op. I change roms all.the time. Now I'm using VE and when I made this theme I was using FroYo ;-) and I don't do any themes for gb because there already are so many

[Q] Transparent Status Bar?

So, I've been looking around, and it seems the only way to get a transparent status bar for the Galaxy Ace is to flash a custom rom. Is this true? Or have I not looked into this properly?
I'd really like to be able to use one, preferably without having to switch to a different rom. I have stock...
Check the SGA themes and apps section there are couple of mods for transparent status bar I bet there'll be one for stock

May The Force Be With You
is it real
check this out:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1452118 there are a lot like this one, check out the themes and apps section
The only transparent theme for stock is MEIZU ported by Seilent. But it's only for 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 stock roms.

Just thought will do it since many people wanted it
I have installed the black theme and wanted to go back to stock theme.
I flashed the "untheme" theme, but there are still some "black theme" things left.
Mainly the status bar is left out I think (3G icon, Wireless icon etc.)
Is there a fix for this because I don't want to reflash the complete ROM.

[Q] New to flashing roms!

I just flashed the new ARHD 10.2 today and it works flawlessly... I have a couple of questions about where to go from here.
I would really like to find some themes/mods for this ROM. I had one for the battery but i guess it broke when I updated from 10.1. Does anyone know a good place to go to find battery indicator mods (like 1% and colorization mods) for de-odexed 4.2.2 ROMs?
Secondly, I have been flashing several different zips over the last 48 hours... first time, have gone a little overboard . What would be "safe" for me to remove from my virtual SD? If I dirty flashed 10.2 can I remove 10.1? Do the Zips actually do anything after they've been installed in recovery?
Thanks!

Yea you can just delete them all if you really wanted to but I always like to keep one (typically the newest one) on the phone if I have the space. This is just incase something goes wrong but if its stable then it usually doesn't need to stay there.

For themes it would be better to flash trickdroid 7 because that rom has a dedicate themes package zip witch has the battery percentage mod, 5x6 app drawer and if you want, you can make the appdrawer, status bar and sense weather widgets transparent or semi transparent. I think it has it has other themes like holo status bar and other themes for the sense weather widgets. It has also a lot of battery mods like asop and others too.

If I flash trickdroid will I need to wipe phone again? I hate doing that... Using Helium to backup stuff but I still end up having to do so many customizations and options.
