You can't just copy them and put them in another rom, they will need eclair frameworks also (or enough of eclair frameworks to make them work)
Download the rom and extract them yourself.

Is it possible to move the default widgets to an AOSP ROM?
After moving to CM7, I find that the my favorite News widget was the one included in the stock OS, and I was wondering if there was a way to move it. Simply pulling the APK from the deodexed ROM doesn't work. Is there another way?
