Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone could port the circle battery for HTC Desire to i9000? I tried to use the update.zip file but the phone would not run it. The current battery indicator on the status bar does not show a percentage (%) number and a widget just for the battery is a bit wasteful...

i prefer a battery bar with percentage inside
now, i can get the circle battery with % at 100, 80, 60, 40, 20, 0 but in between doesnt work
Not really what you asked but extended controls can also make a battery meter with % in it's widget. If you already use a bar type widget for various functions anyway then it's an easy way to add the function without taking up a lot of space.

Hi.
Welcome to the forums.
I'm a big fan of a little tool called BattMon. Some of you might not know it, it is a battery indicator similar to the taskbar battery indicator, but instead of four bars representing actual battery charge it displays percentage. When you install it it adds an item to the taskbar, hence my question: can you remove system battery indicator from taskbar? I'm not really interested in partial solution - replacing it with a clock (setting HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\ShowTitleBarClock=1).
The other question is maybe you know nice indicators replacing the system one (excluding FInixNOver)?
Best regards,
Michal
Is it possible.as I dont see the need to root my GNote,at least not at the moment,is there a way to make the icon at the top to show the battery percentage?
Download battery circle from the market
I think you must be rooted to edit the battery icon (it's a system file). You could give applications such as Battery Circle a try. It places an icon / percentage on the left.

Thank you,It works great.
I have tried more than 10 apps for battery level.
None of them replaces the stock battery indicator...
I do not wish to see two indicators in my status bar...
The Status bar icon is only added with an increased item in notification bar...
Plz suggest me some application which will show only the status bar icon (without notification item) or
replace the stock battery icon.
As you are not saying anything about which ROM/kernel/patches/phone model, safest suggestion would be to apply adhesive tape or a paint marker.
Kinda static batt. level but % for sure
If u have finished marketing ur products u can try UOT Kitchen..

you must know how to edit the framework-res , or search for a theme with percentage .
Almost every custom Rom has a percentage batt. Look around there. I think this is the easiest way for you.
Hey i use Stock CM0.1 and i want a Battery Icon where the Icon have a percentage at the left side. Like the 6. in the Picture. Is this possible ?
This is really bugging me...
Using the stock options to choose status bar icons you can disable the battery icon. Stuff like percentage/stamina are subsets of the battery icon.
However, when you expand the status bar (by dragging it down) it reappears! Funnily enough the percentage/stamina tick boxes are remembered so I can change whether they come up or not by changing the option before greying them out by disabling the battery icon)
This is rather annoying as I'm using xposed for the sweet round battery icon with percentage in the middle. But if the status bar is expanded, I now have 2 battery icons...and also the lightning bolt when charging...
Had same problem on 2 custom roms (MX & striker kai .236 stock based roms).
Had a long scroll through xposed for some various system UI modifiers but didn't find anything.
Any solutions would be appreciated ^^
if you want to change only icon of battery then use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=lfprodev.xposed.xstana&hl=en it will overlay stock icons !!!!!!
