Does anyone know what the bullseye next to the evdo icon is? Sometimes I have it with a slash through it... hmmm
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App
I'm pretty sure it has something to do with ur gps just a guess tho
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App
It is your location, when there is a slash, it is disabled. The options are in Settings > Locations
I have a post about removing this in the themes and apps section. But yes it is your gps indicator.

Can anyone recommend an app that I can use to load custom icons? I have never wanted to try this before but it would be cool to try out...
Also wondering if the app you sugguest would change the icon on home screens, app drawer or both

You can change the icons for an app on your homescreens by adding a shortcut to the app.
Press and hold on homescreen > Shortcuts > Applications
After you pick the app you want, tap on the icon in the dialog box and replace with the icon you want.
Does anyone know the app that changes your time, battery % and charging status from digits to words?

Here ya go:

I wish the one for the time would let you make the words bigger. Its way to small IMO
Thanks!

I tried installing it on cm6.1 with and without wiping cache/dalvik and got stuck in bootloops both times. Didnt try a full data wipe but i feel like its just not meant to work with this rom...

There's nothing to hide the batt, just to hide the battery percentage and the clock

Posted this in the o3d forum thought i would post here. Cause im canadian and i like my american neighbours. Eh!
Never seen any one post this tip so here is mine. The improvement was very noticeable. Discovered by me.
1. Use a different launcher that allows activites. (Launcher Pro) install.
2. Long press on homescreen click shortcut then goto activites.
3. Expand com.lge.hiddenmenu then click hiddenmenu, it should now be on homescreen.
4. Run hiddenmenu goto connectivity test. Uncheck power save. Lol.
Simple i know. But enjoy longer range and more power.

But can always be toggled... thanks for the tip!
Sent from my LG-P925
For sure about the toggle. I posted in o3d forum and its does not work for everyone. P920? V10k? So many things are different. All i know is it works on lg-p925g v10c. Let me know.

You can use this code to access that menu also: 3845#*920#
Is there a repository of these codes somewhere?

I prefer the "any cut" method. Download "any cut" from the market. Make a shortcut on your homescreen to hidden menu or connectivity test. I already have it straight to connectivity test for tethering anyway.
The most awesome upgrade to my phone yet! Thank you! Went from no wifi at work, to 1 bar! Thank-you! !!
