There's no point doing this, it won't work, it's not an installable apk, it requires additional libs.

Have you tried to delete the cache on the market app? I'm also assuming you have changed your Android ID.
You cant delete the cache its always cleared

Have you made a android of stock? If so you can extract it from the datadata in the backup. Copy it to pc then open in notepad. Search Android _Id. If no-go back to stock then download Android Id. Change from market. Open app then click save Id. Flash froyo then download app again and restore Id you saved.

You actually have to clear market data. Then the market works but changing the id may be nessacay if you want to sync with AppBrain and some other apps that require your unique id #.
Thx mcord i will try that.

Do a search in the forums and you will find tons of info on the question you are asking...You must have sideloading enabled or root or a custom ROM....search for sideloading

You can also use FontChanger if you are rooted to apply essentially any font you can download. I use that on my wife's phone.

I bought one samsung captivate SGH-I897, But after i got it i looked on it and found there is no option to install out of market apps. Everytime.i try to install somthing from outside market it says " for security, your phone is set to block installation of applications not obtained from android market".
I somehow manage to root to using oneclick root but still there is no option to install outside apps and it stil says same thing.
Please help, i want to unlock it use on my tmobile too.

You have to enable non-market apps using Odin,
Or install a rom to your phone like continumm this will automaticly allow non market apps

On the oneclickroot program there's an option to " allow non market apps" to unlock your phone you'll need to SEARCH xda or Google/xda on the one click unlocker for captivate. Some captivates it works others are to new. + galaxy s unlocker in the market has proven to work for some.

If u spend like 20 minutes (if even that) searching for this topic/issue, you will find your answer. Try it out.
